    3. Morane-Saulnier M.S.406

The M.S.406 was a French Armée de l'Air fighter aircraft built by Morane-Saulnier starting in 1938. Numerically, it was France's most important fighter during the opening stages of World War II.

Although sturdy and highly manoeuverable, it was under-powered and weakly armed when compared to its contemporaries. Most critically, it was out-performed by the Messerschmitt Bf 109E during the Battle of France. The M.S.406 held its own in the early stages of the war (the so-called Phoney War), but when the war restarted in earnest in 1940, losses to all causes amounted to approximately 400 aircraft. Out of this total some 150 were lost to enemy fighters and ground fire, another 100 were destroyed on the ground in enemy air raids and the remainder was deliberately destroyed by French military personnel to prevent the fighters from falling into enemy hands intact. In return M.S.406 squadrons achieved 191 confirmed victories and another 83 probable victories. The type was more successful in the hands of Finnish and Swiss air forces who developed indigenous models.

    4. SF2 WW2 Curtiss SB2C-3 Helldiver Pak

      SF2 WW2 Curtiss SB2C-3 Helldiver Pak 9/10/2013

-- Something for the PTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

      A new variant of Veltro2K's SB2C Helldiver.

This package represents SB2C-3 Helldiver US Navy Dive Bombers in the mid/late 1944 configuration. There is actually not much external difference between the 3, 4 and 5 models, but I thought it would be nice to have the mid-mark variant. This mod was started in sping 2103 and got lost in some file shuffeling. So, here it is completed.

This is a complete aircraft/skin/decal set, minus the weapons and pilot figures. These are all reused from the various other Helldiver packs I've released. The aircraft are finished in the standard Mid-1944 3-tone scheme.

Skin/Decal sets included in this pack are for...

      VB-7, USS Hancock

      VB-14, USS Wasp

As seen during the time frame of the Battle of the Phillipine Sea, and operations over the Phillipines. The historical WW2 squadron patchs, for each squadron, are used for the paint chip on their respective skins seen on the Loadout Screen.

Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Other than the painted on national markings, all others are decals. This included the Modex and CVW "G" System symbols.

New to this mod are DDS format damage textures, replacing the tga type. These can easily be used on any other of the SB2C variants now available, with minimal editing of their main inis.
The Standard Animations Keystroke ™ are used for the wingfold, Shift/9. The pilot and gunner's canopies remains linked to gear retraction/extension.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

    5. SF2 WW2 ETO Gloster Meteor F.3 "Stand In" Pak

SF2 WW2 ETO Gloster Meteor F.3 "Stand In" Pak 9/11/2013

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged, Plus Expansion Paks (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: Having wichever SF2I Expansion Pak that gave us the Meteor 8 is =REQURIED=. As this mod makes use of that stock 3W Lod, you =MUST= have said Expansion Pak as part of you merged installs. Otherwise, this mod does you no good, and you shouldn't download it.**

A reskinning and redecaling of the stock 3W Meteor F8 to create a "Stand-In" WW2 era Meteor 3. Yes, we all know there are =SUBSTANTIAL= physical differences between the early and later production marks, but this WILL allow you an RAF jet for anti-diver patrols and causing general mayhem in the closing months of the War. And possibly against some of the Luftwaffe jets recently released, and those still to come.

The markings are all decals, representing No. 616 Squadron "South Yorkshire" circa late 1944 thru 1945. These are reused from an old 1stGen mod of mine. The serial numbers are historically correct as they ARE for the F.3 variant. Decal randomization is TRUE. Serials and Plane-in-Group letters for 26 aircraft are supplied.

The canopy opens with the Standard Animations Keystroke (Shift/0). The pilot figure is included, but weapons are NOT, as they reference ALL stock 3W in-game items, with the exception of the RAF500 pound ww2 era bomb. You should already have this in you game via various WW2 weapons packs.
My 1stGen 'box art' hangar screen is included, now revamped for SF2.

      When In Game you'll see:

      Meteor F.3 (SI-3W)

on the aircraft selection drop down menu. This will diferentiate it for those that may (or may not) have the DAT F.3.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.

    7. SF2 WW2 PTO Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (Jack) Pak

The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden "Thunderbolt" was a single-engined land-based Fighter used by the Japanese naval Air Services World War II. The Aliied reporting name was "Jack".

While this release is similiar to the Jack as used in the A-Team Skunkworks PTO AIMP, it has been slightly reworked for General Release . This is the full aircraft package, with everything needed.

Important Note: DO NOT use this mod within the Dev A-Team PTO All Inclusive Mod Pak!! You =WILL= break their campaigns . It is for use ONLY in a 'regular' PTO-centric mods folder.

      Credits:
Veltro2k for the aircraft (and A-Team Skunkworks for finalization work)
Charles for the FM and base skins
      GregoryP for the AvHistory sounds

    8. SF2 WW2 Curtiss A-25A Shrike Pak

      SF2 WW2 Curtiss A-25A Shrike Pak

-- Something for the WW2 players (and What Ifers, too, maybe?...) --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

US Army Air Force version of the USN's SB2C-1C Helldiver dive bomber.
The aircraft has been 'de-navalized', with the removal of the hook, and has non-folding wings.
Skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE. Serial numbers are historically accurate for this aircraft.
All markings on this aircraft are decals. This'll give the "What Ifers" a fairly blank canvas to create other fictional land-based users.

It should be noted, this aircraft NEVER served in a combat capacity, and never left the Continental US. They were regulated to training and target-tow duties. Don't know what you're going to do with it, but here it is.

This package is complete, with the aircraft, engine sound (AvHistory). Pilot figure and weapons (including guns) are NOT included. These are reused from the various USN SB2C paks.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    9. SF2 WW2 ETO B-17G Flying Fortress Pak

      SF2 WW2 ETO B-17G Flying Fortress Pak 9/1/2013

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: Having any SF2 series game is HIGHLY reccomended, as this mod references the stock destroyed An-12. Also, due to modifications to various inis, and LOD exportation coding (Unicode) this mod will -NOT- work in1stGen games installs at ANY patch level.**

This is the release of Veltro2K's B-17G Flying Fortress Heavy Bomber. This mod ONLY represents Forts used in the ETO.
To eliminate any confusion with any other B-17Gs you may (or may not) have, your in-game displayed name will read "B-17G Flying Fortress (V2K)"

There are 2 skins/decal sets in this pak. These represent 2 squadrons fron the 91st Bomb Group (of the 4), based in England...

322nd BS - in standard OD over Grey (folder is called "OD43")
323rd BS - in overall natural metal (folder is called "NM44")

The skins make use of the "Start Date" statement, and will change accordingly in June, 44 from OD to NM. Although, historically, OD aircraft were seen up until VE-Day.
All skins are in jpg format. All new Squadron Codes, plane-in-group and serial number decals were created. One may consider the serials as 'generic' in nature, but ARE correct for the model depicted, AND are actual serials for 17G's as used by both squadrons. It was impossible, however, to match serials to plane-in-group letters.
All markings are decals, making in easier for skinners to recrate other ETO units (and by inference, MTO units). All lighting is historically correct.
There are =NO= nose arts. Those with the desire (and talent) are encouraged to do the necessary legwork on research, running down the correct match between nose art, plane-in-group letter and serial number.
The Skin templates ARE included. Look for the seperate folder "B17G templates -v2k", inside this zip.

It should be noted, do =NOT= use this mod in a PTO-centric mods folder; these aircraft were NEVER used in the Pacific. Those wishing to recreate 15th AF (MTO) units are encouraged to do so.

Engine sounds, pilot figures, BRAND new Hangar and Loading screens (in SF2 jpg format) are included. Bombs and guns are not included; you should have them already. Operational service dates are rounded to 'whole months'.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for other EXCEEDINGLY!!!! important notations. The last round of patching (May/June/July 2013) seems to have induced some "issues" with Player Flown Heavies ™

    10. SF2 WW2 ETO Heinkel He 177 Greif Pak by Veltro2K

      SF2 WW2 ETO Heinkel He 177 Greif Pak 8/26/2013

-- Something for the WW2 ETO players --

      = For SF2 ONLY, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

**Note: Having SF2I Expansion Pak 1 is HIGHLY reccomended, as this references destroyed model for the 3W C-47A. If you do =NOT= have Exp1, you will NOT have the burning wreck on the ground. You will have to locate some other destroyed model for use. Also, due to modifications to various inis, this mod will probably -NOT- work in 06 level 1stGen game installs. 08 Level 1stGens may have some issues, but this has not/cannot be tested by me.**

This is a reissue of Veltro2K's Heinkel He 177 Greif Luftwaffe Medium Bomber. It has been partly reskinned and decaled and had some tweeking done. Much of the work is based off Cliff11's SF/Wo* 1stGen pak, with as stated, some tweeking by me. In essence, 98.6% of his work remains intact. That having been said, further tweeking may be necessary to fully bring it to SF2 levels

      All original readmes are included.

The single skin included, still in bmp format, represents II/KG 40 based in Western Europe. 26 New decals for the radio call letters (or whatever they are) have been created. Historically, I know this is FAR more than operationaly used, but it makes for a nice change. Decal randomization is set to TRUE.

Also, there's new damage textures, in DDS format.

New AvHistory Engine sounds, pilot figures, new SF2 compliant Hangar and Loading screens (in jpg format) are included. Bombs and guns are not; you should have them already. The Fritz X Glide bomb, however, is.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. PLEASE read them!!! PLEASE read the "Notes" section for the change list, and other important notations. Also, the Legal Statement has been changed with regards to this aircraft.

For those that still have the original releases, you may wish to examine THIS package before installing over said original. There have been some minor, but relevant changes.

**The aircraft herein is released in "AS IS" Condition. The source files have been lost or destroyed, and there can and WILL be no modifications to the physical model. They 'are as they is' and you must accept it with this caveat in mind. Any and all issues/problems that cannot be solved via ini edits will exist forever, as new models are unlikely to be created**

    13. SF2 WW2 PTO F6F Hellcat Pak

      SF2 WW2 F6F-3, F6F-5, F6F-5N Hellcats by Geo (and wrench)

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment. Also, the destroyed model references the SF2V Skyraider; hence the Full-5 Merged Prefered. Quite useful due to SF2NA carrier-coding, which is used herein*

This is a compilation of all my work for Geo's F6F-3 Hellcat, and includes the 2 'new aircraft' built from the original -3, as previously seen for 1stGens some years back. This pak is desinged to COMPLETLY replace any/all the 1stGen Mods I've released in the past.

F6F-3 - mid war TriColor (Geo's original skin) with 2 skins
F6F-5 - late war overall Dark Gloss Blue with 3 skins
F6f-5N* - (Radar Equipped Nightfighter) with 2 skins (USN & USMC)

*the cockpit has been swapped out for TMF's F4U-5N's pit -- even though slightly 'off' in insturment placment, everything works on it much better than the original. Radar ranges ARE correct.

All have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but may need further fine tuning by experts. I feel it actually flys TOO well/easy; having spoken to real Hellcat pilots (one of my High School shop teachers flew them at the war's end -didn't get into combat, though).

Skins are still in their original TGA format (oddly, withOUT an Alpha, and apparently NOT convertable to jpg without LOD work - I'm NOT doing any Hex Editing to find out) and decal randomization is set to TRUE.
SF2NA 'carrier based' statment have been added to the data ini; unfortunately, the wings do NOT fold. However, the canopy opens via the Usual Suspect ™ animiation keystroke, Shift/0

Many NEW decals have been created, as the Navy expanded it's number of fighters on the boat in 44-45 to around 70 per ship, displacing Dive and Torpedo bombers. (ie: 35-36 per squadron)
Userlists are included for those aircraft, being 'exported' which means USN & USMC for the -5N; no references have been found citing USMC usage for any other version (I guess they liked their Corsairs better!)

SF2 versions of the old 'box art' Hangars are included for those that had them.
Sounds, weapons are included; included a 'new build' F6F-3 tank in NonSpec gray for early useage.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
All readmes from the original releases, and re-releases, are included where discoverable from the archives.

    14. SF2 WW2 PTO A-24 Banshee

      SF2 WW2 A-24 Banshee (USAAF Dauntless)

-- Something for the PTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

This is a SF2 version of my eariler 1stGen A-24 Dauntless; like the recently rereleased SBDs, it has a (semi)complitant SF2 FM, and may need further adjusting by experts.

It represents aircraft as used by the 8th Bombardment Squadron (Dive) in New Guinea in mid 1942. These aircraft had a very short operational career in combat (read: disastrous). Most later variants were regulated to Stateside training squadrons.

The skin is in jpg format; decal randomization is set to TRUE. Serial numbers are correct for this model Banshee, as I was not able to run down exact usage for this squadron. It also uses the original Wolf cockpit, as these are the equlivant of SBD-3, with the telescopic sight (ring-and-bead used here). The 'fakepilot method' (patentpending) is used to add the 2 wing station pylons. This tweek can also be used on the recently released SBD Dauntless pak, if one has the ini editing skills

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them.
All readmes from the original releases, are included where discoverable from the archives. Remember, also, this is a very old model, and like all the others, "it is as it is".

Some tweeks, and a new skin for Veltro2K's recently released Curtiss SB2C "Helldiver" WW2 USN dive bomber.
This skin is a simple re-decaling of the original release Dark Gloss Navy Blue, represent VB-7 from USS Hancock, post June/July 1945 (when BuAer mandated the changover from 3-tone). The skin is in jpg format, and decal randomization is set to TRUE.

Tweeked Data, loadout, and main inis as well as Sounds, weapons are included. BRAND NEW SF2 "box art" hangar and loading screens, too.

SF2 WW2 Hawker Sea Hurricane IIC, by Raven

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, all the features will NOT be working as designed.*
*Full-5 Perfered, as these aircraft make use of the SF2NA Carrier-basing statements*

**This pak can be used to Update Raven's original release. It can be found at the following URL:
      http://combatace.com/files/file/13122-seahurricanmkiiczip/

This is the complete aircraft, just minus the original 835 NAS skin (yes, laziness again. Just as easy to upload the complete aircraft, as an 'update pak')

The skin included herein is for:
880 Squadron, aboard HMS INDOMITABLE in the Med (possibly during Operation Pedestal)

This skin is still in bmp format. All new decals were created for Codes and serial numbers. Decal randomization is TRUE. As all the markings are decals (excepting the national markings), it would be quite easy for other skinners to recreate other RN squadrons that used this mark Sea Hurri, as the Temperate Sea Scheme was used throughout the North Atlantic and Med.
A new SF2 style hangar screen included.

All of Raven's weapons for the Hurricane are included, upgraded for SF2 usage. These are ALL the weapons, for all his Hurricanes (as there are several other mods in the works)

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

    17. SF2 WW2 Hawker Hurricane IID, DAF, by Raven

SF2 WW2 Hawker Hurricane IID, DAF, by Raven

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a possibility that this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, all the features will NOT be working as designed.*

This is a 'rebuild' for Raven's Hurricane Mk.IV into the (slightly) earlier Mk.IID, for use in the Western Desert and North Africa. This version is essentially the same (minus the rocket stations), armed with the 2 Vickers 'S' 40mm gun pods. It is a complete aircraft pak, with pretty much everything needed.

The skin included herein is for:
No. 6 Squadron "Flying Tin Openers", RAF/Desert Air Force, 1942-45

This skin is still in bmp format. All new decals were created for Codes and serial numbers. Decal randomization is TRUE. As all the markings are decals, it would be quite easy for other skinners to recreate other RAF squadrons that used the 2D in the MTO.

A new SF2 version of my original 1stGen 'Box Art" hangar screen included.
All of Raven's weapons for the Hurricane are included, upgraded for SF2 usage. These are ALL the weapons, for all his Hurricanes (as there are several other mods in the works). If you have them from another Hurri pak, just allow the overwrite.

Note: the Vickers guns are mapped to 'fire_primary_gun', and the ranging 303s are mapped to 'fire_secondary_gun'. So, have you stick/keys set accordingly.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. In contains the 'changelog' of tweeks/modifications/and whatnots.

    18. SF2 WW2 Hawker Hurricane IIC (MTO/DAF), by Raven

SF2 WW2 Hawker Hurricane IIC (MTO/DAF), by Raven

      -- Something for the WW2 ETO/MTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility that this mod will work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, all the features will NOT be working as designed. But it SHOULD work!*

Some modification, tweeks, reskin and so forth for Raven's excellent Hurri 2C, create a semi-dedicated version for North Africa/Western Desert/MTO usage.
Originally, I was just going to do an 'update pak', but it was just as easy to assemble a Full Aircaft Package. This was done simply for 'ease of use' (read: laziness!!! ). The LOD fix has already been applied.

A new Desert camo skin for 213 Squadron was created from Raven's templates. The decals are 'retreads' from my original 1stGen skin.

This skin is still in bmp format. Decal randomization is TRUE. As all the markings are decals, it would be quite easy for other skinners to recreate other squadron that used the IIC Trop in the Western Desert/North Africa/Italy/MTO/etc.

Data ini edits add the 'destroyed model' statements; the destroyed model is also included (from the WW2 terrains, and works perfectly!). Mission statements have been adjusted to maximize on the Ground Attack potential; A-A statement have been limited to CAP/Intercept. FM has not been touched; it flys just fine in SF2.
Other ini edits replace the gunsight with my old EAW Pappa Romeo conversion (done for us old folks with old eyes; this is much easier to see!). The pilot figure was also swapped for something more 'tropical' looking.
A new SF2 version of my original "Box Art" hangar screen and a NEW Desert-themed Loading screen, are included.

All of Raven's weapons for the Hurricane are included, upgraded for SF2 usage. These are ALL the weapons, for all his Hurricanes (as there are several other mods in the works). Odds are, that those that know how, will have already made the SF2 conversion; this is done as a "CYA Measure" for those that haven't, are d/ling for the first time, or just because! All other RAF WW2-style bombs are included as well.

When 'in game', you'll see "Hurricane Mk.IIc Trop (Raven)" on the drop down menu. This will differentiate it from any other IICs you may (or may not) have.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please =READ= them.
Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.

With Thanks To Raven for the bird, and the OK to tweek her!

    19. SF2 WW2 MTO Ju-87 Stuka Pak

      SF2 WW2 MTO Ju-87 Stuka Pak

-- Something for the WW2 MTO players --
      = For SF2, Full-5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =

*There is a distinct possibility this mod may work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs. However, due to some of the modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment, all the features will NOT be working as designed. Those that choose to attempt this, do so at their own risk, as NO support will be available.*

This is a FULL aircraft package to create MTO versions of the Ju-87B and Ju-87R as re-released by Baffmeister & myself. Plus, the Italian version is included with the Ju-87B; you just choose "Reggia Aeronatica" on the nations selection drop down, and you'll have the correct skin!

*** REMEMBER -- this set is designed for MTO use ONLY!! Also, it's reccomended you remove/delte/move any other MTO-style Stukas from you MTO-centric mods folder. This package is built to COMPLETLY replace any eariler versions. ***

In this pak you'll find bits for...

      Ju-87B:
      2/StG1 (overall 'sand')
StG1 (standard Euro splinter *note-may NOT be historically accurate!*)
      StG2 (sand/dark green splinter)
      236 Squadriglia, 96 Gruppo (Reggia Aeronatica) *
*replaces the 'nationalized' Ju-87B_RA from 1stGen*

      Ju-87R:
      4/StG2 (darkgreen/dark sand splinter)

Also, MTO specific data ini and userlist (when needed). Most skins are new, as are several decal sets. Some decals are still the originals, from 'way back when. All skins are in jpg format, and decal randomization is TRUE.
As an Extra Added Bonus, for those wanting it, the Famous Snake Marking is included as a sperately named Body.jpg in the STG2 skin. A simple rename of the Body and snake-body will keep the original, and allow usage of the Snake one.
Weapons, guns, drop tanks, pilot figures and sounds etc are included! So are Hangar and Loading screens (where applicable).

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too.
Any original Release Readmes from the 1stGen versions I could find are included, for hysterical purposes, as is Baff's readme from the ETO Stuka pak.

    20. La-11 Fang by Bunyap, For SF2

a-11 Fang by Bunyap, For SF2

      = For SF2, Any and All =

Note: although NOT strictly a WW2 aircraft, but immeadite Post-War. This'll give the Mustangs, Spitfires and such something to else to tangle with in the late 1940s.

Some modifications, tweeks, and various fiddles with Bunyap's Lavochkin La-11 "Fang", bring it into SF2. This is the complete package, with cockpit, skins/decals, and engine sound.

      Skins included are:

      Soviet (silver-gray)
      PLAAF (sliver-gray)
NK_CVAF (North Korean, Chinese "Volenteer" Air Force)
      NKPAF (NK silver-gray)
      NKPAV_Green (dark green camo)

The decals inis have been rewritten to use as many stock decals as possible. The NK Green, however, has new decals made for the KAW mod with semi-historical numbering.

New hangar and loading screens are included, now in jpg format. The hangar screen is an SF2-style rebuild of my original 'box art' version.

It should be noted, that due to the age of model (ie: it's from 2005!!) there are many issues that are unfixable. One of the major ones, is the shadows are turned OFF, as there are huge 'tractor beam lines' extending from the aircraft. You just have to live with them.

As always, fairly easy to follow, yet detailed install instructions are included. Please read them!

    21. SF2 Fairey Firefly Pak, Post-WW2, Korea & Post-Korea, by Simon Porter

SF2 Fairey Firefly Pak, Post-WW2, Korea & Post-Korea, by Simon Porter

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred*) =
*Note: the data ini includes statements usable ONLY in a Full-5 Merged install, as SF2NA contains the proper coding for Carrier basing/usage.*

Some extensive rebuilding (ini and skin wise) of Simon Porter's 2005 Beta Release of the Fairey Firefly Mk5 (aka FR.5). The pak is designed to replace any and all other earlier SF/Wo* versions existing.

All skins and decals are brand new for this mod; the skins were created via a Home-Grown Template ™. The template is included. All markings are decals, making it easy to 'swapout' ship ID letters (provided as decals) or skins to create other operational squadrons. The skins are in jpg format. All new dds-format damage textures are included.

A new SF2 (semi) compliant FM was created, as was the new Userlist.ini. A "new" SF2 version of my original "box art" hangar screen is included, as is the engine sound. This aircraft has been tested in a Full-5 Merged envoriment, in SF2NA for carrier operations.

This pak contains the following skins:
      Royal Navy, Fleet Air Arm:
812 Squadron, HMS Ocean circa 1953-ish (withOUT 'Invasion Stripes')
827 Squadron, HMS Triumph, early Korean War withOUT 'Invasion Stripes' (1950)
827 Squadron, HMS Theseus, mid-late Korean War WITH 'Invasion Stripes' (circa 1951)
Royal Australian Navy, Fleet Air Arm:
817 Squadron, HMAS Sidney, circa 1951

The RN squadrons use a 'pool' of 25 generic serial/Modex Number decals shared amongst them. I say generic, as they represent FR.5 models from the 1948-55 time frame, but with little hard data available, it's almost impossible to run down "which went to what squadron aboard what boat". The RAN serials, are also 100% historic, but again are limited to those known to have operated aboard HMAS Sidney at some point during the Korean War. There are 19 RAN serial/modex decals.
Weapons are NOT included, as they are readily available in The Gunny Pak or the KAW weapons pak, both available here at CA.

PLEASE remember -- the aircraft lod is still in it's 2005 form (read: the Beta) and many bits are not quite right. As there is no MAX file available, the aircraft "is as it is". Some aerodynamic components exist only in the 'virtual state' as data ini statements.

As always, fairly easy to follow install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Simon's original Readme is also enclosed.

    22. Yak-9 Pak for SF2 (by Pasko)

Yakovlev Yak-9U, -9UT and -9P "Frank" by Pakso

      = For SF2, Any & All versions (Full-4 Merged Prefered) =

*Note: Full-4 merged prefered tag is because some decals used are referenced from SF2:I*

MOdifications, tweeks, FM enhancements, and so forth to Pakso's Yak-9 WW2/Korean Era/Early Cold War Soviet & satellite countries fighter.

      This package contains 3 aircraft:

      Yak-9U
Yak-9UT (made from the data ini supplied by Pasko on the original release) *Note: these have the plywood aft fuselage, hence no rivets*
Yak-9P will full metal fuselage (export version?)

The 9U & 9P have the standard arament of 2 12mm machine guns and single 20mm cannon through the prop hub. The 9UT has 2 20mm upper deck cannon and a 37mm gun through the prop hub (T= anti-tank. Works great against bombers too!)

All aircraft have new, enhanced FMs for SF2. While pretty close, there is probably some room for improvement - this is !ENCOURAGED! for those with the skills and time to accomplish.
All aircraft have completely NEW skins, created from a Home-Grown Templates (patent pending), and how have the correct color schemes, as well as corrected/new panel and rivet lines for the variant (9U/UT is different from 9P). All national marking and 'Bort' numbers are stock, in-game decals. Userlists are incuded for all three.

All guns and weapons, excepting bombs which are stock, are provided in this pak, as well as Pasko's pilot figure. As expected, the canopy opens/closes via manual animation keystroke -the (in)famous Shift/0. A new in-line V-12 sound, from many of the WW2 mods, is included.
A quick note on guns: the nose cannon on ALL variants has been set as "Fire_Secondary_Gun", so make sure you have a seperate button mapped for it's use.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read for further information and stuff like that there. For historical purposes, Pasko's original readme is included.

    23. P-47N Thunderbolt, WW2 PTO (by RussoUK)

      PTO P-47N Thunderbolt Pak

-- For SF2, Any and All (Full-4/5 Merged Prefered) --

Some various and sundry mods for RussoUK's late WW2 era P-47N-15 "Thunderbolt", bringing a bit closer for full SF2 usage.

The pak represents Thunderbolts as based on Ie Shima in mid-1495 to the end of WW2.

Several new/modifided inis are included, most important is my 90%-ish SF2 compliant data ini with many adjustments to the FM (more fine-tuning is required -- and hopefully somebody will do so!!). Drop tanks and the WW2 pilot figure are included. The canopy operates via manual animation key, the Usual suspect, Shift/0 ™. All lights are 100% correct.

      3 skins/decal sets are supplied:

      19th FS 318th FG
333rd FS, 318th FG (these 2 are original, with some decal modification)
463rd FS, 507th FG (new one by me!)

Decal randomization is set to TRUE for all skins.

As always, READ the enclosed readme for full, detailed instructions. This package has been broken down into the various folders that SF2 needs, to make it a LOT easier to install (read: drag and drop).

Just another mod I had sitting on the HD, collecting stray electrons. Thought I finish it off, and get it out the door.

    24. P/F-47D-25 Thunderbolt by Wolf257 - For SF2

Republic P-47D-25 Thunderbolt (BubbleTop) by Wolf257
Please note this aircraft mod is released "As Is"; any flaws or faults NOT caused by my ini edits are most likely unfixable and must be lived with (until a replacement model is created by one of our over-worked 3D Gurus). I just want to get this off my hard drive, and have 'those that know' test and experiment with the FM -- it NEEDS more fine tuning (see "Notes" below).

This is a complete aircraft, and is designed for Post-World War 2 usage, by the USAF and several Allied airforces; in particular those in Latin America.

      Included skins are:

      USAF Post-War Natural Metal, 525th FBS, circa 1946, West Germany;
      1º Grupo de Caça, Brazilian AF, WW2 MTO (OD/Gray);
      1º Grupo de Caça, FAB, Post-War natural metal (called "FAB2"; reuses some historic decals from the above skin, repainted for NM usage, and all new post-war serials for 25 aircraft -there're still more to be done, if someone wants to!);
      Escuadrón de Caza, Colombian AF, 1946- the late 50s. 100% accurate serials;
"Generic" NM, for anyone else, and can be used as a basis for other countries (Italy, France, RAF, etc)

All markings excepting the 2 FAB skins and the FAC post-war with painted-on rudder stripes, are decals.

2 cockpits are included, one is the Mustang-style from the original release, and Stary's 'Generic Late WW2 Cockpit' - which it is set to use right now. You can switch as you wish (Stary's is better, of course). All external lighting is 100% correct for this model.

As always, fairly easy to follow, detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. It is suggested that you unzip the archive to a temp folder or your desktop to access the entire 'readme' before instilling.
Also, give the "Notes" section a read for further information and stuff like that there, illuminating defects, flaws, my goofs, and etc. It should be noted, that as we ONLY have the -25 model, it is incorrect for the units/countries depicted herein. These would/should be later production D models, with the fin filet.

We make do with what we have.

      Thunder(bolt) and Lightning In SoWesPac

-P-47D-20 Thunderbolt & P-38F Lightning in the Pacific-
-- Something for the PTO players --

      = For SF2, Full-4/5 Merged (Reccomended/Preferred) =
*There is a possibility that this mod will =NOT= work in SF/Wo* 1stGen game installs, due to the excessive modifications made to fit them into the SF2 environment.*

Mods/reskins/redcals for 2 of Wolf257's WW2 aircaft. This package contains BOTH full, complete aircraft:

P-47D-20 (Razorback) Thunderbolt, with 2 skins:
348th FG, originally by Major Lee (with some new decals by me), circa 1943-ish
39th FS, 35th FG circa 1944/45 in the Phillipines
"Generic" P-38F Lightning for late 42-43 (pre-red outline starbar)

All skins are in jpg format, Decal Randomization is TRUE. Both get new SF2 versions of the original 'box art' hangar screens. DDS damage textures for the Jug; the old tga version are still used on the Lightning. Destroyed models are included for both (taken from the WW2 terrains).

Stary's WW2 late 1 cockpit is included for the Jug. The P-38 uses it's original Wolf pit.
Both have semi-compliant SF2 Flight Models, but they do need further fine tuning by experts. All lighting on both aircraft is 100% historically correct.

As always, fairly easy to follow, highly detailed install instructions are included. So, please read them. Also, give the "Notes" section a read too. Major Lee's original readme for the 348th skin is included for historical purposes
