    5. JG1 Rittmeister Manfred von Richthofen's Albatros DV 2059/17

Jagdgeschwader Nr.1 Rittmeister Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen's Albatros D.V 2059/17, circa August 1917. This skin features "washed" national fuselage insignia, green/mauve camouflage on wings, varying shades of red from overlapped coats of paint (visible in photographs, historians theorize the nose and tail were initially painted red before the rest of the fuselage was "filled in" with a thinner, translucent coat), Garuda propeller, wooden wing roots, square fuselage footstep, and port wing footstep.

    7. First Eagles Winter Replacement Terrain

Here are Replacement Winter Terrain Tiles for First Eagles. They are modified EAW Tiles. They are not perfect, as I still have to replant a few trees, but they certainly allow you to fly over the Western Front when it's cold.

These tiles change nothing except the look of the terrain. All roads, rivers trenches and airfields are intact.

      Installation

Just drop these files in your wwiVerdun terrain folder. To delete just remove the files.

      Flanders Terrain is to follow.

    9. Sopwith Baby

The Sopwith Baby was a British, single seat float plane used for reconnaissance and light bombing. It was built in fairly large numbers and was used by the British, French, Italian, Australian, Canadian, and American navies.

My version carries a Lewis machine gun on the upper wing and a has a loadout for a light bomb load. Some Babys had a Lewis gun mounted at an angle through the upper wing and some had a synchronized Lewis mounted on the fuselage, but the horizontal upper wing mount seems to have been the most common.

Since it's a float plane, the Sopwith Baby works best in the Flanders, Gibraltar or other terrain that has a lot of water. Ojcar has done a great job making this plane take off and land realistically on water.

The plane will actually take off and land from a conventional airfield, but it looks strange to see the floats going under the ground. It would be best to start the missions in the air.

I have included two skins, a generic olive skin for France and Britain, and an Italian linen skin. A full set of decals are included with Italian insignia and (fictitious) serial numbers. My skinning templates are included with the download.

      Credits
Thanks to Ojcar for making the data file for the Sopwith Baby.
Thanks to Nix for providing the sound for the engine.

      Installation Instructions
For FE1 - Unzip the file and move the folder named "SopwithBaby" into the FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. You also need to move the sound file "clerget9b2m2.wav" into the FirstEagles/Sounds folder.

For FE2 - Unzip the file and move the folder named "SopwithBaby" into the FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create new folder named "SopwithBaby". Move the folder named "D" from the Aircraft/SopwithBaby folder into the Decals/SopwithBaby folder you just made. You also need to move the sound file "clerget9b2m2.wav" into the FirstEagles/Sounds folder.

    11. Bristol F.2B 4 pack No.11, 22, 48, and 62 Sqns

This download includes all the files needed to create four new F.2B aircraft (not just skins). The original .LOD files must be added to each aircraft folder for this download to work. For FE2 just drop in the folders into their proper locations.

Each F.2B aircraft uses decals to create A, B, and C Flights by the appearance of colored wheels (White, Red, and Blue respectively). Also different numbers and letters will appear aswell. No.22Sqn will have a Lewis gun on the upper wing. The FM's used are from Peter01's FM downloads.

The markings of each flight represent F.2B squadrons from Summer of 1917 till Spring of 1918.

      Enjoy, Quack74

      (S!) ALL hi ;-)

This is a Fokker E III Uffz Ernst Udet, KeK Habsheim March 1916.
The red stripe on this plane could have been black, but most historians
Believe it was red and in most all profiles you see it as red.

Special thank you to Laton for giving me the opportunity to work
With him again on this plane its been a great working with you.

Special thank you to my friend Bob Pearson for allowing me to put his
      Profile in of this plane.

    16. FE - simple AA Machine Gun mod

No remodeling, or repaints. This mod adds heavy truck-mounted anti-air machine guns.
They use Maxim MG, shoot very long bursts, have lots of ammo and since availability is set to very_common there may be two or even three per airfield. Maximum attack altitude set to 300. This adds a pinch of realism and lot of fun to low-level bombing. And luckily they are not as lethal as stock flak.

Highly recommended to use with any mod reducing stock flak accuracy so that you'll be able to escape MG fire by gaining altitude without getting shredded by the cannons. Gundata.ini from AIMOD would do nicely.

Installation: unpack in Objects\GroundObject folder. Copy Texture folder from 13pdrAAA to AAMG, and Texture folder from 77mmKFlak to GERMG. Machine guns will be placed on the map randomly.

Original N24 3D Model and clean skins by EmlD
      FM by peter01
Ini file modification to N24_Lewis by Panama Red
29th Sqn. Skins and Decals by quack74
      LeRhone9jb Sound by Nix
      Testing by ojcar

This N24_Lewis was created so ojcar could use it in his FE2 Campaign Series.

The real RFC Nieuport 24 Lewis had a very short career on the Western Front before transfering to the Middle Eastern Front. Basicaly only one RFC squadron used it for any length of time on the Western Front, and that was the 29th Squadron from Nov 1917 to Feb 1918.

As a result, quack74 created this set of unique decals for all three flights of the RFC 29th Squadron. Included are two sets of skins, the default "dirty" set, and an alternate "clean" set for those who want a difference.

To install this package, do the following:

      FE1:
Install the N24_Lewis folder to your
      .../Aircrafts directory
      Install LeRhone9jb.wav to Sounds directory
      Install Gunsite01 into WeaponData.Dat

      FE2:
Install the N24_Lewis folder to your
      .../Aircrafts directory
Install N24_Lewis decals folder to your
      .../Decals directory

    19. Fokker EII

As promised here are the EII Fokker skins, I have only done the factory finish skins for the parabellum EIIa version, as there to the best of my knowledge were only ever 4 parabellum armed EII's produced, as the parabellum was totally useless on the Eindecker as a synchronised weapon, so most of the EII's were Spandau armed there were also some Swartzlose armed versions as well, but unfortunately we dont have those modelled, ( HINT HINT SOMEBODY !! ) So mainly the skins are for the EII version, the factory finished ones are a CDL finish, with early crosses, and a Fokker Grey finish with later crosses, I have also done 2 skins from KeK Vaux, one being an all white machine ( bet it didnt stay white long !! ) and Frieherr Von Althaus Fokker Grey ,also a KeK Vaux machine, 2 aircraft from our black tailed friends of Flt Abt 9, Bruckmann, and Kissenberth, Bohme also possibly flew these machines as well, finally Von Crailsheims machine of Flt Abt 53.

As with the EIII and EI releases, these skins are for Latons models only Borts will not work with these skins !! be aware please. all the files are included guns, decals sounds pilots et al. For some reason I didnt relly enjoy doing these EII's maybe because they were an interim aircraft pretty quickly superceded by the EIII , so apologies if they dont seem as exciting as some of the other skins, but to be honest, there isnt a lot of choice on the Eindeckers.

The usual thanks and shout outs go to Von S and his band of happy campers, Laton, and Peter for doing the models and fm's respectivley, also to Gambit and Von Deutchmark whos original skins I have hi jacked and chopped about. I shall do a couple of E IV's next just for continuities sake, then on to a new aircraft, not sure what yet though as the D VII and DR I 's seem to be pretty well covered to death, so maybe some of the Pfalz's or something...we shall see !!

      As always ENJOY

    20. Anatra D "Anade"

The Anatra D was a predecessor to the Anatra DS. It was powered by a Gnome rotary engine and armed with a single machine gun for the observer. The Anatra D was used mostly for reconnaissance, but also as a fighter and light bomber. After overcoming some initial design problems, it entered service in May, 1916 and was produced in relatively large numbers. Many of them survived the war and were used in the fighting in Eastern Europe after the end of World War I.

I have included two skins, a plain linen and a grey paint. A full set of number decals and a loadout for light bombs are included. I have also included my skinning templates for those who wish to make their own skins.

      Credits:
My thanks to Ojcar once again for making the excellent data.ini for this plane.
My thanks also to Crowford who provided valuable reference material for the Anatra D.

      Installation instructions:
For FE1: Unzip the file and move the folder named "AnatraD" into the FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder.

For FE2: Unzip the file and move the folder named "AnatraD" into the FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft folder. Then in the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals folder, create a new folder named "AnatraD". Move the folder named "D" from the Aircraft/AnatraD folder into the Decals/AnatraD folder you just made.

    23. Jasta 15 Ltn Ernst Udet's Albatros D.III 1941/16

Jasta 15 Leutnant Ernst Udet's Albatros D.III 1941/16, circa January 1917. This skin is a request and is based on a Bob Pearson computer illustration (which is based on a Dan-San Abbot watercolor illustration) and features standard D.III finish, save for the wood fuselage being a reddish-brown rather than the normal straw-yellow.

Note: This skin is a D.III skin applied to a D.V model. I understand this is historically inaccurate but I see no harm in skinning a D.V in this manner. Eventually, I am certain other Albatros D models will be created.
