About This File

This is a full stand-alone pack, no other mod packs are required. This pack is a REPLACEMENT and NOT an upgrade for FastCargo's F-15 Super Pack. You cannot simply install and over-write Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack with this pack. Nor, can you over-write this pack with Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack. This pack contains higher resolution jpeg skin files, so if you over-write Fastcargo's pack with this one, you will never see the new skins. If you over-write this pack with Fastcargo's pack, you will lose all the latest data files for flight model, weapons loadout and etc. If you just want the upgraded skins, those skins are available separately in the Skins section of this site. A later versions of those skins are already in this pack, so please don't upgrade this pack with earlier version of Viper63a's skins. Please refer to the "Installation" section in the Readme file, it will explain how you can install this of both packs

This pack contains all F-15A thru D Eagle variants (including Js). If you want the F-15E Strike Eagle variants (including SE), you can find them here.

1) All NEW 4096x Skins in JPG format and tons of new decals (also includes optional 2048x skins).
2) Repainted Cockpits by Viper63a and RWR list by Spudknocker.
3) All NEW updated Data and Loadout files from Spudknocker and Fanatic Modder.
4) All NEW 1920x1080 *Hangar.jpg, *Loading.jpg and *Loadout.tga (also includes optional 1024x768 screens).
5) Excellent new weapons and ejection seats from Ravenclaw_007!
6) Excellent Florian Pilot upgrades by JAT81500!
7) Excellent Hi-Rez F-15A skins from Pappy!

** The same squadrons may be represented in many different folders (81, 85...etc), but the planes gets dirtier with age and the decals changes, and weapon capabilities and loadout changes with the years.

Please refer to the Readme in the "Optional" folder to...
1) Install Additional/Alternate 1024x768 and 1920x1080 Hangar and Loading screens.
2) Install 1024x768 Hangar and Loading screens. This pack has 1920x1080 screens by default.
3) Downgrade the default 4096x to 2048x skins if you have performance issues with the larger skins.

   a) Backup and delete the following folders (if you have them) in <Your mod folder locations>\Objects\Aircraft\...

** Option 2) If you installed this mod and want to install Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack...
 
   a) Install Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack and overwrite...
   b) Go back to install option 1)...
 
** Option 3) If you don't have Fastcargo's F-15 Super Pack already install...

yeah I like this one,but I have to say this pack also has some bugs, for example, the F-15C IDF used old data,and my friend told me that He think that the canopy shape is not correct, and he hope you will be able to fix this bug.But this is still a great work,thank you!

Please list the "bugs" in the Support Link and we will look at the issues...Please include plane names and\or folder names and describe what the issue is. Example, "old data" is not helpful. "Old" compared to what? Or what is "Old" in the data?

Great pack! I ran a interdiction mission with the F-15E and got jumped by 2 Mirages. Made a hard left at 430 Kts, the nose went down....and down...and down... into the side of a hill. The plane would not pull out. I re-flew it again and the elevator oscillations drove me into the ground again. The plane looked great though!

A very nice package, indeed!

But i think the FM need a update, the FM is "overpowered".
For example, the F-15DJ with heavy payloads can reach Mach1 whitout afterburner at sea level.

You are correct...Some of them are missing AHM in AllowedWeaponClass...was that it? Will be fixed in the next upload! THANKS!!!!

LOL...Glad you like it. Did you install both this and the F-15 Strike Eagle pack to get the F-15Es? We tested this pack for weeks and never ran into the issue you mentioned. Did you follow the instructions to the letter, including the parts to uninstall any older F-15 mod packs?

 

Edit: Installed the F-15E, tried the same maneuver. AGL 10k, 5k and 1k. 420-480kts, hard left and hard right 180, 360 (when I had the room)...with and without AB...no issues with elevators, no drilling the ground. Pushed stalls and recovered, avoided stall...etc...no issues here...

I deleted the planes listed in the readme, and installed your pack. I only tried the one plane, so maybe I did something wrong. I will test it again.

The '87 model didn't have yet AHM capability, if this is what you ask for. Essentially it was the MSIP version of the F-15J.

I came back after a few hours of flight.

Some suggestions, in addition to FM review that described above:

 

- The canopy in the single-seat version is a little different from the original, especially the curvature above the driver's head.

The original TW Eagle can give you a basis for comparison.

 

- I believe that the simulation of the ailerons, stabilizers and rudders is not 100% correct. If I'm not mistaken, above Mach 1, the Eagle only use the stabilizers to make the roll movement.

 

- The Loadout some versions is wrong, and is duplicating some missile rails

We're not using any F-15A or stock models in this pack. Yes, the canopy is different because we are using F-15C LODs in this pack. We cannot change the canopy shape, it will take someone far more skilled than us to change the LOD. Also, for this reason, we have not altered the default F-15A and F-15A_Baz...so user can still install F-15A load based mods in those folders.

It may be true, and there may be versions where the ailerons don't work over Mach1...we could only turn it on or off...The jets in our pack should behave like the stock TW F-15s. If you find an F-15 that shuts off the ailerons above Mach1, please send us a link and we can take a look. Please tell me what happens when you hit Mach1.5 and above....
 
- The Loadout some versions is wrong, and is duplicating some missile rails
 

FM is doing a review of the data and loadout files...

OK, and please do not be upset by my suggestions.
I really enjoyed the two packages and I liked to fly them.
 
I made some suggestions that may perhaps be even better prepared updates of the mod.

It seems to be an operator error. I think I was turning too fast and stalled out. I do have quite a lot of oscillation and real touchy roll response, but that may be due to my stick deadzone. I flew the F-15K and sunk 2 ships, so I think my problem was with my pilot.
