Could be fun to see what you like most

Keeping the F-110A/F-4 out on purpose

Sorry, you didn't include my favorite...the F-108...

FastCargo

Well it seemed only fair to have a pick by those which became operational in the series. I know it was later developed to the SR-71 Blackbird which it still the fastest bird in the world as far as I know :good: Way to go Lockheed :clapping:

Not so! The North American F-108 never flew and was only ever built as a mock up.

In many ways it may have been a bit of a dog but I've always had a soft spot for the Hun - but why do I have to pick just 1?! :tomato:

Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to hate the hun, except in the World Wars. *Ta-dum tssh*

the hun's the one for me, despite the fact that it definetly wasn't the best fighter or bomber. Maybe I like it because my only sucessful Burning Sands campaign was with the F-100.

But where's the CF-105?!?!?

Gotta go with the Thud. Although I personally think the Voodoo was the sexiest of the century-series, the Thud's history and capabilities makes it my favorite.

I voted for the F-106 for these reasons:

1. Of all the century series, it was arguably the most effective in its intended role.

2. It represents the apex of 1950s technology and engineering, with its advanced fire control system and aerodynamic design.

3. In my opinion, its the most aesthetically pleasing of the century series.

When it comes to impact on history, the F-105 obviously takes the crown, but I think the 106 was the real king of the series.
