Peter Gabriel - So, Us

Ah so I am not the only Peter Gabriel fan here! So is an incredible album. One of the best-sounding albums released on the SACD format by the way. Its a shame that format never took off.

Well it has been a cruel summer.

Now 80's music I like alot. Got thousands of MP3's of just 80's music.

80s pop is hell of fun!

Alice in Chains: DIRT

Tool: Lateralus

Iron Maiden: Somewhere in Time

Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime

Fates Warning: Pleasant Shade of Grey

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik

Great choice there. Its the one album from that wave of early 90s bands that I really enjoy. Funky Monks!

There are too many good ones out there, at a pinch my top 5 are, not neccessarily the greatest ever that's too difficult, but my faves:

1. Nevermind Nirvana

2. The Queen is Dead The Smiths

3. Highway to Hell AC\DC

4. Led Zeppelin IV Led Zeppelin

5. Script for a Jester's Tear Marillion

Awesome pick, although Paul's Boutique was awesome too! I say pick any Beastie Boys Album and you're on the money in general. Other than that, Faith No More's "King for a day, fool for a lifetime" was all killer and no filler!

Thanks, I almost didn't put the Beastie Boys in there because some people consider them old school hip-hop.

True no real CD successor has come, but I have several albums with DVDs with the songs in 5.1 for listening on the home theater setup and they are incredible!

Yes Of Course...

Speaking of '80s pop...

Let's not forget Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' (1982)' & 'Bad' (1987) albums...

and as we all Know that 'Thriller' was rated the best selling pop album of all time with over 40 million copies sold worldwide...
