An update on NATO Fighters III for you...

 

I spent most of the day today working on it. Its running very well with the current WOE beta patch--I'll have to go back and update several of the old flight models, though. I'm planning on making NF3 a rollup of all of the previous versions, and of course plenty of new stuff. This means you won't have to install all of the old packs--just NF3.

Thanks! This is an awesome tileset. If anything, I would like to make the trees more dense, and have them pop in at a slightly longer distance.

The Mirage Factory Jaguar GR1 is already in the NF series. The Jaguar A has not been released yet. The F1 is being rebuilt by Oli but there is no ETA. The Vautour is part of WOI and I can't redistribute it because it belongs to TW.

 

Danish Drakkens...I completely forgot them. Let me look into it!

I know about the brit' jaguar, and I've wonderfull memories of tree-level raids into GDR.

For the Jaguar A and Mirage F1, that was what I guessed, that one was not ready and the F1 model a little bit old.

But if I recall correctly, there were some beta-ish (you know, "naked" model, white) Vautours pics around (or was it at Check six?) before the release of WoI. I thought that perhaps some third party Vautour could have escaped my eyes.

 

Oh, an what about some of those awesome Brit designs such as Sea Vixen, Javelin, Scimitar, Swift or Venom? I don't know if these are released or made mods, but as a RAF fan I would love to have them in NF.

Good idea... But when did they join nato? And by the way, wouldn't have they be more focused, alongside Italian and Greeks on some mediterranean/Balkan front? Serving in Italy and Greece against the SU, Romania and Bulgaria? Or perhaps against Albania and SFRY too.

It reminds me of a great The Operational Art of War II scenario called "blue danube", describing that southern front of WW3 and it was very interesting. I would love to some WW3 sim action in that part of the world.
