FastCargo Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Yea, Gocad, pieces from your skin are incorperated in the current prototype skin just to have something that looks reasonably like the real thing. Waiting on a few things from other people before I send it back to Klavs. FastCargo Quote
macelena Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Just add the @*Ç%ing tailhook, for real pilots!!!! Quote
+Jug Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 OMG CUMPAER 2 SUPERHORNTF NUMBER 1 USN FIGHTER SUPERFLANKER ATOOL MISSSEL!! GO!!! Sweet stuff, Klavs. Don't you ever die, you good lookin' dawg! Quote
JediMaster Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I think the 35C must be relatively close in size to the legacy Hornet. Any chance of posting a shot comparing those 2? Quote
FastCargo Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Assuming the models are accurate: The F-35C actually looks larger than a F-18C. FastCargo Quote
+Svetlin Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 F-35C: Length - 15.5m Height - 4.6m Wingspan - 13.1m Source: http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/jsf/specs.html F-18C/D: Length - 17.1m Height - 4.7m Wingspan - 12.3m Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-18 Best Regards, Svetlin Quote
+Gocad Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 F-8E: length: 16.5 m height: 4.8 m wingspan: 10.9m Thus it's proven, the F-35C is a small aircraft. Quote
+Dave Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Well oh yeah my F-35 is better than your Hornet...and my dad can beat up your dad, and my sister is bigger slut than yours.. Wait, what just happened? Quote
Avenger Angel Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 (edited) Ehi guys! I've find this video on metacafé that show the various animations of the F-35 VTOL it's too intresting! Click HERE for vison Bye Federico! Edited October 16, 2008 by Avenger Angel Quote
JediMaster Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 The obvious difference is the F-35C has a LOT more wing area than a Hornet, which means lower wing loading. Hopefully a lower approach speed as well. Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 a greece godness..... sexy Is this also klavs modell?! Quote
+EricJ Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Actually I'd go for the Supa and keep the USAF F-35A. The -C looks okay, but not as good as the -A Quote
+Klavs81 Posted October 27, 2008 Author Posted October 27, 2008 You guys are in for a treat. Thanks to Fast Cargo's awesomeness, you'll no longer have to toggle your weapon bays! Quote
+76.IAP-Blackbird Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Very nice klavs!!! I start to like this plane, I love your work but that`s another thing. Nice to see more versions of this baby! I thought about the idea to give the Yak-141 a new sekond skin something look alike F-35 for vertical takeoff and landing stuff... This is the Carrier version right? Quote

I actually got to see/touch some F-35/F-22 wing skins this weekend, CSTOL wings and a couple of CV wings. There's an awesome level of technology behind this aircraft. Quote
