+hgbn Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 Well the the F-100 have always been among my favorite aircrafts. One of the main reasons I got into Thirdwire games, Since Wings over Vietnam included the Super Sabre and Janes USAF didn't. After we finally got the A and C models in the latest exp pack. I have decided to revisit this classic. It's like the call of nature. Just something you gotta do. So expect some new skins in near future. Like the new high res templates I did for the C. Same I did for the D model based on bit and pieces from Sundowners excellent templates he did for the 1.Gen series. 1 Quote

dsawan Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 if you're into the hun, there are documentaries on military channel. I think its great planes series. I saw it a few months ago with good footage and commentary from a hun pilot. Quote
+hgbn Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Right now I'm working on a ultra faded RDAF scheme Quote
+hgbn Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 494th Tactical Fighter squadron 48th TFW Quote
+paulopanz Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Well, the great Chief HENRIK (What oustanding temps!) invited (and helped) me to this great 'Viking Hun party', so I came ... All historical DKDF squadrons numbers done. Esk 730 silver is in being. Thanks Hgbn. Paul Quote
+hgbn Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 492nd TFS 48th TFW According to wikipedia( I know not all info there is correct) this squadron color was blue not black.. I agree however since the color pics I have seen of the wing commanders aircraft shows Blue yellow and red in the color flashes Quote
+paulopanz Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 .... I have also found and made ALL Turkish F-100C serial numbers to apply on a stock SEA skin. But I woul like to make some proper squadron skin, too. I found these (for 3 wing at Konya? - other last 3 serial's digit): 3-89; 3-91; 3-732; 3-950; 3-059; 3-766; 3-746; 3-883; 3-732. Anyone could help me to find more or for other wings? Thank You in advance. Quote
+hgbn Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Paul if you grab the RDAF F-100's from NF4+ you have correct seats and no refueling probe Quote
