The answer came fast. They say:

" Das ist der Hahn für die Luftversorgung der Flugzeugführerkabine. "

which translates into

" This is the lever for the air supply to the aircraft cabin."

cool! i think thats brings us to two that served on the "other side"   (not trying to be rude, most of the site member military veterans of that age are from the US/NATO side)

Yes, I understand the nuance, but it is true nonetheless. It is a pleasure to communicate with former "opponents". Those days are long gone... (no politics). I am here for pure motives and interest. Many very good flight simulators (IL-2, LockON/LockON 2, Rise of Flight, DSC World) have Russian origins/Russian developers.
