Centurion-1 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I am glad that you like it! Here is another update, there is light in the end of the tunnel This is brightened a tad to make it easier to see. Also I need help identifying what this weird counter is on the gunsight/hud. 5 Quote
+Coupi Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 (edited) Very Beautiful Gentleman! About the HUD counter... in order to count photos? Tomorrow I'll see a good friend a former Mirage F1 Pilot I'll ask him. Edited June 5, 2013 by Coupi Quote
Centurion-1 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 No I don't think so, the angle of attack box is the large tape on the left side of the hud, the g meter is on the right. But that small counter is not known to me.. I don't know what those wires that frame the canopy are but I added them and some more OCD details: I am now 98% done with the cockpit, jay! But that small counter is not known to me.. I thought you were talking about that very one Centurion, so I misunderstood you then. Isn't that a scale for AoA..? "Wires" that you ask about -canopy heating..? Your attached pictures don't open at this place for me is high res so hard to tell, sorry for that Edited June 5, 2013 by Stary Quote
FrankTB Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Absolutely beautiful detail a really like the high lighting on all the edges. Quote
+CrazyhorseB34 Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Love it! Just one thing..... Send your pilot to the gym. His legs are too skinny! I am of the "I don't like legs in my cockpit" crowd. Really cannot wait for this one guys! Quote
tiopilotos Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Really cannot wait for this one guys! One of the most long waited mods ever! Quote
Centurion-1 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 THanks guys, if all goes well you wont have to wait much longer! Does anyone have a Martin Baker Mk4 and/or Mk10 model in max they'd be willing to share? For the cockpit, obviously.. Also regarding the legs in cockpit, what do you think? Keep or remove (if keep I will work on them to look better)? Quote
Svetlin Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 MK10 seats are available here in the SF1 downloads section, if I remember well. Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I have no opinion on the legs but if you do decide to keep them maybe bulking them up a little bit would be a good idea. Great work on this. Many many thanks to everyone involved. as for the seat maybe this will be of use. http://combatace.com/files/file/8374-martin-baker-mk10/ there are a couple others there too. Quote
Centurion-1 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Yeah but I need the source files in max.. I really dont feel like modeling the seat again from scratch.. Gonna PM the maker and see! Quote
+whiteknight06604 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 ok I get it. good luck with the seat. Quote
slick cowboy Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 the added bonus here would be a new cocpit for the super etendard... looking forward to this... looks very promising! Quote
mhrds Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Hello, Very good work!!! About the legs, can you delete them because in the game, the other aircrafts don't have legs in cockpit. Excellent Travail!!! Bravo!!! Quote
Centurion-1 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Could you show me a picture of the BF RWR mounted in the Mirage F.1C-200? Quote
jeanba Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Unfortunatly, I am struggling to find one. But its presence is attested in most sources such as this one : http://www.airvectors.net/avmirf1.html Quote
+ludo.m54 Posted June 11, 2013 Author Posted June 11, 2013 I just look at several pictures of the F-1 cockpit and I don't see any RWR. Do you know if it's a "visual" RWR or only a "noisy" RWR ? Ludo Quote
