I've always been a sucker for the Mirage III, but lately it's all about the gunless Navy Phantoms. The extra pressure of only having unreliable missiles to do all the damage with is a blast to me and makes me pay that much more attention.

Between the cloud covered Karst you'll see me slip

Down from the west with Thud ridge on my hip

Fast and low and into the fire

My big metal steed can't afford much higher

Alone with the rumble and whistle chasing me along

Ghosts of heroes in my ears with a song

For with them is always where I want to be

Scooting along at less than 10 feet

With ner but my eyeball and drifting smoke used for aim

My Thud and I will deliver the pain

When I am feet wet and my sweat dryer

I'll lift my husky steed to realms a bit higher

Returning home quiet with thoughtful repose

I'll do it again as soon as I close

Centurion-1, my other weakness is blue on planes, man that grey-blue skin is far-out!

 

I have not had much luck in the Mirage jets at all; after reading some of y'alls post, I decided to work it out a bit. to tell the truth, I haven't really tried them since gen1, so I gave it a go.

Not my forte, but I am willing to learn :)

Not sure why, but I ALWAYS manage to ace any mission in the F-4D.
