logan4 Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Hi, Just a small video brief. First I reconverted and put my video on YouTube so hopefully everyone can see it and in a bit better quality. https://youtu.be/YNYugw3H1Yg 2nd is a cockpit video of the basic airplane in operation on a strike mission. Please note, the video is unedited and about 24min long so can be boring on some places. https://youtu.be/9DgKE3yMZSk Might try to edit the future videos, but that is quite a new field for me... Meanwhile the trainer cockpit is in the making. 8 Quote
+Stary Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 very nice videos re: cockpit -maybe add a bit of shadowing and slight weathering to the textures, right now it looks quite "flat", but anyway job well done Quote
lauro rafael Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Wooooooooooooooooooow... Mr. Logan4 wonderful job, I look forward to have your bird in my hangar. If you allow me, I have a question ... Do you have intention to implement effects in the exhaust chamber (as well as what was used in the updated Northrop F-5E, for example)? Thanks you for the amazing work and for your attention. Quote
Eole Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 With one or two modifications you'll got a Mirage 2000-5 perfect cockpit ( the one you took as model I'm guessing), nevertheless my hat off incredible work Quote
logan4 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 (edited) Thanks gentlemen! I will try to make it more worn/shadowy, will test also some speculars if I can wrap my head around it. ---- Re: effects. I will have to see what that bird has, haven't flew the F5 for ages now, so not up to date on it. ----- @ Eloe2: Has some truth, most of it was based on the M4k cockpit mock-up (single mainpanel pic) and the rest on the -5 cockpit as it was to be a "Super" and the old pit parts would not cut it. At the same time wanted a gap filler between the m2k and rafale pit evolution. Had done some comparison on how it fits into the M2k, as was already asked for a conversion. It can be done, but my pit is about 12cm wider since the nose is larger than on the 2k. And as time allows will happen one day but will take few more adjustments unless someone want to use it in the 2k as Showfromcockpit=False set on the nose mesh. Edited May 4, 2015 by logan4 3 Quote
+Cliff7600 Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 I failed to post the picture in the SF1 section, so here it is :^) but it's an SF1 model for us who live among the dinosaurs xD Still in progress, still testing and improving (and still learning things...) 2 Quote
+Cliff7600 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) I know the wait is long for sure, but if I were you I would start a serious back seat flight training ;^) ...it could be usefull ---------------- I share the files I edited for back seat ILS landing Back up the original files, mines are not the same In the F-5B.ini file : AircraftDataFile=F-5BRear_data.iniCockpitDataFile=F-5BRear_cockpit.ini F-5B_rear_seat.rar Edited July 30, 2015 by Cliff7600 Quote
