It was supposed to be an intercept mission, but a combination of ground fire and other MiGs killed them before I got into range, so I had a free flight to just cruise around the Korean countryside in 1951.

KPAAF MiG-15.01

During Korea War the MiG-15, flown by soviet pilots, had 3-digit black numbers. The tactical number was made by the last 3 digits of the serial (production) number of the plane.

It's not my skin. I was flying 'blue' and just had a look around at who else was in the air.

Ye-8 aka MiG-23F

img00235.thumb.JPG.30df7b5b9f2866df419780f1a8ec697d.JPG

Built in 2 prototypes in 1962. It was nearly as agile as a F-16A, which was developed 10 years later. Development canceled in favor of Ye-231, later called MiG-23S swing wing fighter plane.

serious question, would the 17 have had the legs to fight over south England for a while? or would it have been jet age Me 109s, ten minutes on station and then its really time to go home?

With a range of 1.000 km and 1.900 km with droptanks, the MiG-17 would have had the legs to fight over South England.

      Hi everyone,
      I was wondering how to customize the numbers after your callsigns, since it always gives me the same ones.
      I think i managed somehow once, a bit of time ago, but now i forgot and have no idea how to.
      I'm not talking about how to customize the callsign name, but the unit number after it.
      As you can see in the Roster and in the picture under, i get "Fast Eagle 1-1" and "Fast Eagle 1-2"
      Here are some examples:

      The numbers on the tail, wing and nose numbers are customized, cause i managed how to change them, choosing them individually for each unit in the mission file by changing "AircraftNumber=" and typing the number, like "2" (as for 202). It doesn't change by typing the whole number tho, like 202 by typing 202, but it goes by typing the number that corresponds to the list of numbers you have. For example, In a list that goes from 200 to 400, you will have to type 10 to get 300. Here i just typed "2" and "7" since the list starts from 200

      IIRC, in the past i just used to type the Aircaft number just like that, and in-game i had the proper number after the callsign, like "Fast Eagle 102", not just the number displayed on the plane livery.
      How do i do? I'm pretty sure that it's possible to have "Fast Eagle 102" on my screen HUD and in the Roster
      Thanks in advance for helping me.

      View File Israeli Mig-21F-13 "007" stock
      During Operation Diamond an iraqi pilot has decided to defect from iraq with his family, and so he had landed his Mig-21 F-13 in israel. This acquisition of the new and advanced soviet fighter has given israel alot of insight on its capabilities, and how to fight againts it. During it's service with the israeli airforce (and the US airforce), it has took on several paint schemes, this being the final and most used one.

      To install simply follow this steps:
      1) Drop "007 camo" into Objects->Aircraft->Mig--21F.
      2) Drop "Mig-21F" into Objects->Decals.
