Eagle114th's SF2 Menu (UI) Expansion v1.2 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a second version of SF2 UI Expansion mod. If you face any bugs or problems, please inform me. The purpose of this mod is to expand / improve the SF2 UI. In the first version, it does two things: 1) Change the aircraft list when displaying the list. Aircraft list are sorted by nation first. There are three versions: a. Version #1: Nations’ multi-branches are combined, so you’ll see (USN / USMC) A-4s or (RN / RAF) F-4Ks as an example. If aircraft have skins for a multi-nations, it will have ‘>>’ at end of aircraft name. b. Version #2: There are both symbol ‘>’ and ‘>>’. For any aircraft that is used by multi-branches, will use ‘>’, while any aircraft with skins for a multi nations will have ‘>>’ at the end of name. c. Version #3: Same as version 2 with simplified year tag. Instead of (19XX), it will show as ‘XX. 2) RWR and RADAR being displayed on the screen, there are 4 versions: a. Version #1: RWR + RADAR upper right corner b. Version #2: RWR + RADAR upper left corner c. Version #3: RWR (upper left corner) + RADAR (upper right corner) d. Version #4: RADAR (upper left corner) + RWR (upper right corner) Plans for next version: - New menu + GUI (WIP) - Make smaller version of RWR + RADAR - If time permits, will work on ordinance list, so they will be sorted by type of ordinance before the name. The feedback are always appreciated! ENJOY! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION: Note: This mod is covers all aircraft in SF2 with all expansion pack and DLCs. (AIRCRAFT) 1) MAKE A BACK UP COPY OF AIRCRAFT folder in Strike Fighters Project 2 mod directory. It can be found in this directory: SF2 (Main folder) -> Objects -> Aircraft 2) In Aircraft Sorting List folder, choose one of three versions, and then copy and drop Objects folder in SF2 mod main directory. (ORDINANCE) 1) MAKE A BACK UP COPY OF WEAPONS folder in Strike Fighters Project 2 mod directory. It can be found in this directory: SF2 (Main folder) -> Objects -> Weapons 2) In Ordinance Sorting List folder, copy and drop Objects folder in SF2 mod main directory. (RWR + RADAR) 1) MAKE A BACK UP COPY of HUDDATA.INI in FLIGHT folder in SF2 Main directory. 2) In RWR + Radar folder, choose one version of six versions, and then copy and drop Flight folder in SF2 mod directory. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE LOG: v1.0 - First version of SF2 Menu (UI) Expansion v1.2 - Added extra options for RWR + RADAR with half sized version (See Version #1A and #2A screenshot in RWR + RADAR folder) - Added Ordinance Sorting list --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Current projects - SF2 new MENU and GUI (WIP) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PERMISSION: Please contact me first if you want to use my mod for any purposes. Nations & Medals Expansion April 13th, 2019 (1st Release) by Menrva >For Strike Fighters 2 games This mod is an extension of the stock ThirdWire _nations.ini file. It adds new nations and respective national decals, missing from the stock game, and it adds numerous medals (made by Capitaine Vengeur and Charles) for the stock countries. Here below a summary of the changes: -Added a number of new service markings decals, for the added nations. -Remade decals for the fictive countries of SF2 to match the default 256x256 resolution of other national decals. -The Mercenary decal no longer shows Dhimari colours; now it's generic and adapt for various scenarios involving mercenaries. -The Soviet Air Force becomes the Russian Air Force since 1992, with proper new decals showing up since 2010. -The Soviet Naval Aviation (Russian Naval Aviation since 1992) has been added as a separate service. -The (Free) Libyan Air Force has been added and becomes active in 2012, in place of the Libyan Arab Republic Air Force. -Biafra and Katanga have been added and are active for a short number of years, as historically accurate. -The Rwandan Air Force has been added, active since 1962, with later finflash showing up since 2002. -The Niger Air Force has been added, active since 1961, with alternative insignia in use since 1980. -The Djibouti Air Force has been added, active since 1977, as historically accurate. -The missing post-Yugoslavia nations, namely Montenegro and Republika Srpska, have been added. -The missing ex-Soviet Union nations of Belarus, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan have been added. -The Irish Air Corps has been added, with alternative decals in use since 1955. -The People's Liberation Army Naval Air Force has been added as a separate service, active since 1953. -The Somali Air Force is known as the Somali Aeronautical Corps before 1960, as historically correct. -The Burkina Faso Air Force is no longer active since 1964, now it's active since 1985; it shows up as the Upper Volta Air Force before 1985. -The Bahrain Amiri Air Force becomes the Royal Bahraini Air Force in 2002, as historically accurate. -Created and added low-vis insignia and finflash textures for the Pakistan Air Force. -Fixed a stock bug in SF2 with the Sultan of Oman's Air Force not being selectable since 1959, as it should be. -Fixed a stock bug in SF2 with the Republic of China (Taiwan) Air Force not using the old roundel as it should be before 1992. -Activated unused low-vis finflash included in stock SF2 for the Canadian Armed Forces. -Other very small changes here and there to other stock nations. -Added new medals for the following nations and respective services: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Egypt, East Germany, West Germany, France, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, North Korea, South Korea, North Vietnam, South Vietnam, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Soviet Union, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States. Modders and users are advised to tweak their _userlist.ini files and _data.ini files for aircraft and ships, to make use of the new naval aviation services added by this mod. >Credits (in no particular order): -Capitaine Vengeur, for his Modern Russian Federation Medals and Modern Ukrainian Medals packs. -Charles, for his Medals Pack v2.0 addon for SF1, which I have improved and updated to SF2 standards. -mue, for sharing info about the functionality of the alias.lst file. -paulopanz, for creating decals for Rwanda and Niger, which I have further tweaked. -eburger68, for few decals I borrowed from his huge campaign mods. I included the original readme files from the mentioned mods, where available, to the end of giving proper credit to everyone involved directly or not. >Disclaimer: This is a freeware; yet it can be redistributed ONLY in other CombatACE mods/mod packages. This mod may NOT in any way, shape or form be used in any payware additions. -

F-21A Lion US Marines loaned version of Kfir Canard used as adversary aircraft by VMFT-401. This files are designed for standard Kfir C1_77. So no need for DLC F-21A. Basic modding skills are required to run this mod. (copy/paste, mod folder structure etc.) It is designed for and works only in SF2 series. To run this mod you need also access to TW lod files from SF2:I (basic model lods for aircraft and cockpit also fuel tanks) I've edited ini files mostly in weapon stations to separate bomb stations from IRM, FT etc. Also removed some lines of unrealistic loadouts (like inboard IRM,lgb on belly station etc.) Loadout file is generally empty. Only fuel tanks are assigned. Have it your way in your adversary install. All skins are done by me in 2048x2048 format based on templates by ludo.m54 => http://combatace.com...ge-5-templates/ New Bump maps. All decals are made by me. You will find 13 sets of decals (for 13 aircraft) so if you will choose to play with 14 or more aircraft that above 13...will be just blank... I am aware that this is not 100% accurate. But this is my way to represent those 13 colourfull aircrafts. Pilot is from F-111 pack. I belive its from Florian. Copy files to proper folders. report bugs. Hope you will like it. Enjoy Jarek Hereda Personally, I am using another nation in my install USMC-agr - hope none of inis in this download contains such ini lines...if so...please change it to standard nations =USMC. -

StrikeFighter2 American Air Force WWII (ETO) Hi-Res 1024x768 Menu Screens and Music! By Viper This mod includes custom "American Air Force WWII" themed menu screens and pilots for the ETO package I hope someone will make in the future (if not already made that I don't know about). You should unzip the file and preview the new screens before installing them. I recommend doing this as there are MANY alternate screens I have in there that you might like better. If you choose to install these screens, I recommend that you back up (make a copy of) your FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders in the SF2 Mod folder you're installing this mod into. Just in case you want to go back to your original setup. To install, simply unzip and copy the uncompressed FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders to your StrikeFighter2 mod folder. To remove, simply delete the FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders and rename the copies you made to FLIGHT, MENU and PILOTDATA folders. My StrikeFighter2 mod on Win97 64-bit would be something like... C:\Users\<your_id>\Saved Games\Thirdwire\<Name of your ETO mod folder>\ Enjoy!
