I´ve tried the DDAY stripes too, but there´s a huge decal bleeding. Maybe they must be painted on for better results. BTW, your skins are great!!!! -
Folks, the YAP´s Rising Sun is fantastic FOR SFP1... For SFP2 a lot of editing needs to make the terrains to work well - but is possible. As for the ships, I don´t know how to do. The planes are simply fantastic (the P-38s are better than IL-2´s ones). The RS are mainly based on pre-made single missions, wich is useless due SFP2 structure. I just recieved a message from YAP about the pending RS-phase 4. Read it: "Rising Sun cost a fortune and did not make it back. We are committed to finish it because we are dumb and determined. So if we make enough money on our next venture, we will complete it. Our terrain man just reappeared and that was an impediment. As far as airplanes, it is very model heavy. LOTS of aircraft. We have almost all the ships now. But LOTS of airplanes. If you think a Ventura is cool, we might throw one in. I cannot tell yo which ones because I cannot find the list but LOTS. Thanks for being ONE of the few who recognized that IL-2, with a better game engine and great skills and a big budget, still cannot tell the story of the war in the Pacific like I cannot tell about Stalingrad. Terrains I can tell you off the top of my head: China Japan Philippines Iwo Jima Okinawa We have versions but they do not reflect the actual character of the foliage or ground color." I know about some issues between some members of this Community and John Shelton, it´s not my business. If put this aside, it´s highly recomended. Cheers!

Guys, pay attention... On the F4U-4B the wing pylons were stagered in the same way as the F4U-5! Check this: F4U-4 - http://www.warbirdregistry.org/corsairregistry/images/corsair-97286.jpg F4U-4B - http://static.thisdayinaviation.com/wp-content/uploads/tdia//2012/08/740x610xVought-F4U-4B-Corsair-Bu.-No.-62924-landing-on-USS-Philippine-Sea-December-1950.jpg.pagespeed.ic.cyrlqp7BIU.jpg http://s1337.photobucket.com/user/Mark_Allen_M3/media/NAS%20Floyd%20Bennett/AnF4U-4BCorsairaircraftofVF-4BisionthegroundatFloydBennett1947_zps60995252.jpg.html http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/images/g430000/g439903.jpg F4U-7 - http://www.vought.org/products/html/f4u-7.html http://www.frenchwings.net/algeria/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_js1024_05_80_-Corsair-F4U7-133704-795x497.jpg http://s293.photobucket.com/user/ALU_2008/media/js1024_10_01_57__F4U7-14F12-sur-Arr.jpg.html#/user/ALU_2008/media/js1024_10_01_57__F4U7-14F12-sur-Arr.jpg.html?&_suid=1403325717259049799491882002483 The TMF model is pretty good when it comes of accuracy and it has the correct wing pylon arrengement. The prop issue is already solved. I have no will to trade the model to a F4U-7. The planes are not the same!!! -
Well, I believe that I took the parameters from another file... My bad! Anyway, there goes the correct ones: SpinnerNodeName=Propeller StaticPropNodeName=blades SlowPropNodeName=PropellerB //FastPropNodeName=PropellerC ReversePropOrientation=True SlowPropRPM=1000 FastPropRPM=2700 MaxPropRPM=3060 IdlePropRPM=1000 Perhaps you may have to change the "PropDisc.TGA" file to make a more blurish one. This is what I done.

Just replace the correspondent lines in "[Engine]" inside the "_DATA.INI" : SpinnerNodeName=Propeller StaticPropNodeName=blades SlowPropNodeName=PropellerB //FastPropNodeName=PropellerC ReversePropOrientation=True SlowPropRPM=1000 FastPropRPM=2700 MaxPropRPM=3060 IdlePropRPM=1000 It works nicelly. Cheers!
