  1. Freefalcon, maybe. Still a bit dated graphicswise but a good sim nonetheless.
  2. I understand the SF2 gripes but DCS is far from perfect. I won't touch it until they drop the DRM. I'm OK with SF2. It delivers what I want it to and there are some simply outstanding mods avaialable that you won't find for other sims.
  3. Alas. I am not worthy.
  4. I believe this has digressed into an official political discussion. See ya!
  5. Interesting contention. Some specific examples of this race-based coddling would be helpful.

Good enough. I guess I was looking for a conspiracy of some sort. Thanks, Dave.

The story of what happened to CA. Sorry, I should have been more specific.
  8. Agreed. I don't have the best Nvidia card in the world but with DX10 I can run SF2 pretty well.

Oh, yes, indeed. We REALLY needed to know that. Welcome back! It would be nice to hear the whole story sometime.
  10. No lie, Bwanna.... Good to see you guys back. I was getting worried.
  11. Ding! We have a volunteer!!!
  12. Yeah. I hate to be a buzz kill but I've been burned once by a flight sim that required some sort of activation after a reinstall. Never again. No sim is worth that.
  13. So it still requires an internet connection to reinstall? Any limits on reinstalls?
  14. I can't believe I've been here since late 2004. Wow.
  15. Let's start with: 1. Are you running SF2NA? 2. What terrain are you using? 3. Are you flying as the US Navy or Marines? 4. Are you flying a carrier capable aircraft?
  16. ^what he said.
  17. I would vote for the cockpit, too. Thanks for all the work on this!
  18. There should be a Strike_Fighters_2.pdf in your 'manual' folder. While it does not call out the F-105 specifically it gives a good description of cockpit layout and intsruments.
  19. Check the SF2 knowledge base forum. But basically your add-ons need to go in the mods folder rather than the root program folder as in SF1. The readme files for the aircraft usually has very good install info as well.
