Rugg.... Is that a TV or a monitor? My set up is not quite that good but I do have a dedicated desk and chair for my simming. I know I will need to replace my simming monitor someday and I sure like the look of that one. Thanks.

Check out the EAW forum on SIMHQ. There have been massive updates to the game that include fixes for a variety of video card issues.

FC helped a bit. I would hope the DCS titles would do even better. I refuse to use internet activation DRM so I would not know. Turn off heat blur and mirrors. Set effects to none. Crank down the water setting. Pull in your horizon distance. My personal opinion is that LOMAC was not optimized very well.

Your laptop probably has a "keypad" incorporated into the keyboard via a function key. Notice the numbers on the U I O J K L and M keys. These are the "keypad" keys accessed by pressing and holding the Fn key. I'd have to look. I don't remember if you can remap the RB3D keys....

My dog is half Border Collie and I will atest to their intelligence. Her selective attention based on the presence or absence of a treat is remarkable. What sold me was last year at Christmas. We always get her a big candy cane shaped chew bone. We made the mistake of putting it under the tree. We got up Christmas morning to the sight of ONE unwrapped present. The chew bone. Not sure if it was smell or shape or both but she knew exactly which present was hers. Nothing else was touched.

I've had my CH stuff for years and still love it. It is a bit pricey but I figure over the long run I'll get my money's worth. Now I need to work on my "cockpit". Nice front office there....:)

Maybe not as part of the SF2 install process but I HAVE had to update directx to run SF2 (and some patches of SF). I have EE and SF2 installed under win 7 and have had no problems. Just a thought. Did you delete all EE folders after you uninstalled and then do a clean re-install? You might have some residual config files hanging around that might be giving you grief.

I had problems with the autorun program but I skipped that and ran the setup program in admin mode and it worked fine.

You should be able to override the default install folder. Just use a different folder for each install.

I'll jump in here with a question... My menu fonts look fuzzy under Win7. I think someone posted a fix for that but I can't for the life of me find it. Otherwise I'm new to Win 7 but enjoying it so far.

I agree. For mods (like Operation Desert Storm!!!!!!!) go with SF1 Europe.
