    For good or ill language evolves and the N-word did not evolve in a good way. It was either rename the dog or have a paragraph at the start of the movie explaining the dog's name. I appreciate the post. I have read the book many times and really got tripped up over the name of the dog. I had no idea about the orgins of the word. Let's hope this is the only change they have to make to the story.

    I'm at JAN2011 and it works just fine.

    Run the TW installer as normal. The tricky bit is that all mods and customized files need to go in your \Users\*username*\Saved Games\ folder. Substitute *username* with your Win 7 user name. The SF2 games have been built by TW to install and run under Vista and Win 7. I also direct my installs to a GAMES folder but I don't think that's required. You can let the installer default and I think you'll be fine.

    Same here. Plus Win7 has DX11 which is a big plus. Can't say the same for FE2. It seems to run much better under my WinXP OS. YMMV, I guess.

    I'm pretty sure FCJ went "out of business". I'm not sure you can get a legal copy these days. The link to the FCJ website is dead.     Rugg.... Is that a TV or a monitor? My set up is not quite that good but I do have a dedicated desk and chair for my simming. I know I will need to replace my simming monitor someday and I sure like the look of that one. Thanks.

    Check out the EAW forum on SIMHQ. There have been massive updates to the game that include fixes for a variety of video card issues.

    FC helped a bit. I would hope the DCS titles would do even better. I refuse to use internet activation DRM so I would not know. Turn off heat blur and mirrors. Set effects to none. Crank down the water setting. Pull in your horizon distance. My personal opinion is that LOMAC was not optimized very well.

    I am with the folks who had a general love of aviation and got drawn in by a flight sim, in my case RB.

    Your laptop probably has a "keypad" incorporated into the keyboard via a function key. Notice the numbers on the U I O J K L and M keys. These are the "keypad" keys accessed by pressing and holding the Fn key. I'd have to look. I don't remember if you can remap the RB3D keys....
