  1. My guess is that you would need to use a helper mesh (but I have never tried it). Dels
  2. Hi there, Sorry for the delay. Currently there's an AC-130J (adapted from the AC-130U) and KC-130J Harvest Hawk available for download that might suit your purposes. I can't seem to find many pics of what the AC-130J Ghostrider is going to look like, but if you get some for me I can incorporate that into the major C-130 upgrade I'm doing at the moment. Dels
  3. Yes, there's a new decal.ini that fixes that here: http://combatace.com/topic/73701-coming-soon-to-ods/page-3?do=findComment&comment=636320
  4. An updated .LOD and decal.ini are in the file attached at this link: http://combatace.com/topic/73701-coming-soon-to-ods/page-3?do=findComment&comment=636320 Hopefully that will fix any skin or glass issues. Dels
  5. Some people have reported issues with the skin and glass not showing up. Firstly, has anyone else got this issue? With the skins, I have attached a new .LOD which changed the call outs from .bmp to .jpg. Hopefully that will fix it. With the glass, I'm not sure, but you MUST have the glass.tga file in the squadron directories. I also noticed the rescue decal on the 416th birds is too big, so attached is a new decal.ini for it. 6. Hi again, it's finally released and available here: http://combatace.com/topic/79573-lockheed-f-117a-nighthawk-for-sf2/ Dels

  9. Re: radar range etc. I don't think it's available as a cockpit instrument, only a radar display. But I will check. Yes, by using the RCS modifier in the _DATA.ini. Dels
  10. RWR on the EHSI (Right MFD) as Brain32 said. As for the numbers on the IRADS: I did think about having some of them working but because half of them (laser range to target, time to go and lat/long) aren't functional in the game, I thought it might look a little silly. (Besides, I thought people might get a kick out of the the lat/long I chose) As you said, it's just an EO overlay but if there's enough people who want a functional groundspeed, mach no. and altimeter on the IRADS I'd be happy to put them in. Dels
  11. G'day all, it's been a while and I apologise for that. After a long break I have returned to the F-117A to finish it. I am in the final stages of completing the cockpit and then it will be ready for release. Here are some screenshots: Dels
  12. Orsin, I wouldn't spend too much time on it. As I said in the PM, I hope to have the complete F-117 pack (including cockpit) out by the end of the year. Dels

  16. ...maybe because this was the first ever flight model I did and I may have made some values too optimistic in order to increase the the manoeuvrability. You're welcome to try your hand at a replacement flight model...
  17. A good model is only as good as its texture and I'm sure you'll all agree that ace888 did a fantastic job here! Dels
  18. In general aviation terms*, power is destabilising so idle would be a good choice with the application of rudder opposite to the direction of the turn and a centralised control column. If this doesn't work, then pushing the control column forward should help as it will put more airflow over the vertical tail making the rudder more effective. Finally, INTO spin aileron (aileron opposite to spin direction makes it worse!). *Disclaimer. Some aircraft have very specific spin recovery actions due to their aerodynamic features/handling which may not align with what I have written here. Dels
  19. Sorry there hasn't been any updates but the good news is we're almost there. It will be worth the wait, ace888's skins are f*%king amazing! Dels
  20. I'm not at my modding computer, but if you have a vertical landing gear arm with no scissor link so it just moves up and down with no other moving parts you just need the following in your landing gear section: ShockTravelAxis=Z-Axis (obviously the mesh pivot needs to be oriented correctly with the Z-axis up). The ShockStroke will determine how far it moves up and down and the SpringFactor/DampingFactor with determine the rate etc. Dels
  21. If you have a landing gear with a very simple compression (i.e. movement up the Z-axis), then there is no need to animate it at all. There are entries within the landing gear section to allow it. Dels
  22. I agree with the other responses that the bottom one looks better. However, aerodynamically, the bottom one would produce more parasite/form drag due to cross section and induced drag due to increased lift. While the top one would produce much less form drag its lift would be negligible so induced drag would be much less. As an added bonus, the interference drag at the wing root/fuselage interface would be much less delaying separation at high angles of attack possibly giving a higher Cl max and hence lower stall speed. Also, the top one would be easier from a plumbing perspective. So, practically: the top one. Aesthetically: the bottom. Dels
  23. Yes. The external model is complete and I'm working on the cockpit at the moment. But it won't be ready by next week... Dels
  24. Yes, these days there seems to be more of a Capt. Picard approach rather than the Capt. Kirk "We come in peace, shoot to kill". Not that I want to spark up that argument... Dels
  25. Cool, this can be the new thread for razzing Thirdwire. All is well in the world again.
