Agreed, someone needs to be accountable for this before it starts killing our pilts. -
No A2A refueling isn't modeled in the game. Some people are working on a way to do it though via 3rd party means. But even then it will be a scripted mission with no ability to call in a tanker.

That's a good question, can you get the debug mode to display only specific info? I am not sure. Anyone? ? -
I think someone said it earlier. Most of these writers are not Flight Simmers at all. In fact they probably argured over who was going to write the review. So I don't take any stock in their reviews.

Ok I took off manually. I stayed level for about 10 seconds after I took off then I was able to take control of it and get some altitude. So that was odd. Wingman took off fine. Then I did it in AP again. I took off just like you should. When the wingman took off he made like a almost 90 degree turn to the left after leaving the deck, got some altitude and joined on my wing. My recommendation is to use AP only for carrier ops.
