  1. Looks more like a screenshot from DCS World, than it does one from an SF2 sim. Very niiiice!
  2. How about a Javelin that belongs to someone of Irish Ancestry? And it's even painted green! Oh, you meant the Gloster Javelin...never mind!
  3. The question that no one has asked yet, what year are you flying in?
  4. Yes. Is it loading when you choose a default loadout?
  5. Do you have the dual racks mentioned in the aircraft's loadout.ini file?
  6. Perhaps because the member you're trying to add has already "befriended" you?
  7. Click on the members name. That will open up a new page, and you'll see three buttons towards the right : "add me as a friend" , "send me a message", and "find content".
  8. C:/Users /your account name/Saved Games/Thirdwire/SF2x/Controls/Default.ini
  9. Yes, as every aircraft and every terrain is now available from within any title. In other words, if you start up SF2, you'll find that you now have access to the SF2 IrsaelME terrain and plane set, as well as the VietnamSEA terrain plane set, (etc.), from within that one title.
  10. Whatever you do, try this tweak: http://combatace.com/topic/84199-frame-rate-tweak-for-nvidia-users/ It will noticeably improve your frame rate, often making the game playable when it was otherwise a slide-show.
  11. Most of the modelers no longer create models (including cockpits) for the SF1 series. They focus instead on SF2, because SF2 features better avionics, bump-mapping, and specular-mapping. The avionics alone are reason enough to move on up to SF2. And unfortunately, there is no dedicated SR-71 'pit available, at all.
  12. Nick, check your personal messages.
  13. Removing the center windscreen frames should be doable, but remember that the J35 has two support struts that run from the canopy bow to the top of the anti-glare pane, just in front of the IP.
  14. Gun unjam and reload, though the statements for them need to added to the objects/aircraftobject.ini and control/default.ini files.
  15. No Thirdwire product has ever been coded to produce a crash log. If your install is crashing, you can post about it at the Technical Support boards at http://bbs.thirdwire.com/phpBB3w/index.php or, you can post your system specs here, and we can attempt to help you. We would need the following data: operating system, hardware specs, and what mods you may have added to the install.
  16. R2 droid auditions for the new series:
  17. No. That title was released before the fhit hit the san.
  18. Nick, expansion pack 2 is a $25 addon.
  19. Expansion Pack 2 requires that you have SF2E installed. It is available here: https://store.thirdwire.com/store_w7_all.htm
  20. Nick, Just to whet your appetite, some screenshots from a (modded) install of SF2NA: MiG-29K on approach to its carrier, passing the battle group's plane guard destroyer: MiG-29K, ready to trap on the Ulyanovsk:
  21. And a Merry Christmas to you and your family, Nick!
  22. Meaning, are you the Nick Tselepides who used to post on the SF1 forums at simHQ about 10-12 years ago?
  23. The tail gun definitely yaws. A former coworker at a job I held some 30 years ago, served through two enlistments in the USAF, back before the Vietnam war. He was actually stationed at Wheelus AFB in Libya for a while. Anyway, I recall him showing me manuals that he still had for the B-47 and the F-100. I should have snagged them off him, as he was going to throw them away.
  24. For future reference regarding the Stratojet's canopy:
