    I agree, the original TW tile sets are rather lack lustre. For example, the ODS terrain with the new satellite image based tile set by JSF_Aggie is the dog's bollocks!

    Look for the Formation.ini in the Flight folder. Delete it, modify it (by increasing the applicable distances) or pull one from a later mod.

    So find a skin that uses decals and delete the .ini references to the decals and hey presto-you might just surprise yourself with your own modding prowess! Are you referring to the Hornets?

    Excellent proposition- given the scale of the project(s), crowd funding is in fact ideal! This could even apply to the upgrading of the TW series as a whole, since finances are the need of the hour.
