Do you has changed something in the options menue yesterday? In TK's games only parts of the terrain are "populated" to reduce processor workload. The distances can be changed in the options menue. Set all to "Hard" (mostly Air Defence) or "Far" (Horizon)

In the target.ini you find entries like this Target[083].Type=AAA Target[083].Offset=-707.01,1546.70 Target[083].Heading=315 For AAA the game engine is randomly using a Flak type. If this entry is for the blue side it will place western flak on this position, is this a red side airfield it will use a soviet type. If the airfield is captured in the campaign the flak types of the other side are now placed. If you populate an airfield with, lets say, a lot of Shilkas. The Shilkas will be also active if the airfield is taken by the blue side.

Found it somewhere in the net. Its said, that it is a MiG-21S. It has the long backtank behind the cockpit like the S. BUT: Pivottube is direct above airintake. The S had it moved to the right side. And there are only 2 hardpoints, the S had had 4. Any idea?

There must be something different (mismatch) between the settings in the weapondata.ini and the weaponstations settings in the F-14A_data.ini.

In the late 80th, early 90th the chinese developed a new version of the J-7 with the degination J-7E. It had a new double delta wing, increased fueltank volume and ecm jammer. The new wing, which was fitted with slats improved the agility of the plane by 84%. It can now turn with a rate of 25°/sec. As radar it use the chinese copy of the british Skyranger range finder radar with a maximum detection range of 15km. This mod is made for WOI, but will also work with WOE. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ II. Wenn keine Waffen geladen werden sind keine Pylone sichtbar. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob das bei westlichen Luftwaffen usus ist, das die Pylone dann abgebaut werden wenn man sie nicht braucht. Bei den MiG's blieben die Dinger jedoch immer dran. Man hat höchstens die Startschienen abmontiert. Wie kann ich es hinbekommen, daß die Pylone im Spiel immer sichtbar sind?

Fixing an Invisible Airfield in Modded Maps

Jack, in the file you posted all heightmapscales are set to 50. Give it a try to reduce all heightmapscale values to 0 and then test it again. Perhaps it will work. Do you see the airfield from high altitutes? Or are the airfields always invisible. If you see the airfields from the high and they disappear if you come close or low, then the heightmapscale setting is the reason for the problem. If you never see airfields you must set a correct link to the .cat file. -

Now it depends on the terrain. In my Deutschland terrain, for instance the tiles which are used as basich for airfields are called Feldflugplatz (in other terrains it are different tiles). If you open the deutschland_data.ini you find following lines: [Texture036] Filename=Feldflugplatz.BMP HasWater=0 HeightMap=Feldflugplatz_hm.BMP HeightMapScale=0.000000 Color=0.295611,0.372053,0.179665 SolidObjectTexture=terobject_buildings1.BMP AlphaObjectTexture=terobject_trees1.TGA Important is the line HeightMapScale=0.00000 if there is a value bigger than 0.0 then reduce it to 0.0 -
