  1. As a first step i reduced the LargeParkingMaxSpan from 48 to 41 for military airfields and increased it to 54 for civil airports. So the Boeing 707, the DC-10 or the 747 can appear on civil airports, but not on military airfields. And 41 meters span are enough for the Hercules. Perhaps i should rework the civil airports and set additionally the ParkingMaxSpan to 48 meters, so that we can find two different airliners at one airport.

  3. With a little bit editing of Nations.ini and Rio_de_la_Plata_Bay_NATIONS.ini the 707 Airliners appear in game. Small problem: plane is to long for the parking position Now i must find a way, that airliners will not appear on military airfields, but only on civil airports. Let's see.
  4. In the next update i will do it. Can i set "Airliners" as FriendlyNation and EnemyNation at the same time?
  5. I have uploaded version 1.3 some minutes ago. An Admin must still give the okay. Big static airliners i have not yet included in the terrain. This will come later. Airliners should appear on random parking slots, if you have airliners in the aircraft list. As goodies i have included a new menu screen, new menu music, and if you own DLC 28 and SF2I, then can you fly my versions of MirageIIIEA and MirageIIIEBR.

  7. Normal passenger plane on a random parking slot. I will test it for a while.
  8. This was new for me. I will check it out.
  9. All planes you will find on the airfields of this terrain are placed on the parking slots, which the game engine use randomly. If you have airliners in your airplane list, so it can happen that they appear. For placing airliners as static, permanently objects on the map i would need special "static aircraft" LOD. AFAIK there are no such objects available for Boeings or Airbus. Maybe i'm wrong, but i dont know such object.
  10. I reworked the Paysandu airfield, added some parking areas, Flak and placed the parking slots for aircrafts.
  11. New tile for Aeropuerto Laguna del Sauce, now fits better. I found a gimic in the download area: the lama made by the Bandidos team, from 2009. Unfortunatly it is much to big. If you compare it with the technicians, which are 1.80 m high, the lama is 2.50 or so, at the shoulder, not the head. It has the size of a bison. If it would be smaller i would add it in the terrain. It would fit perfectly.
  12. Any chance, that you make this: RM-70, the czech version of the BM-21 Grad launcher system, but with additionally 40 rockets in a fast reload system, so that it was able to fire 80 122 mm rockets in a very short time. Basic vehicle: Tatra 815 truck.
    Excellent work. A lot of modernised tanks, which fit perfectly in the last half of the 1980th and the following years. Well done.
  13. Aeropuerto Internacional Laguna del Sauce, Uruguay, with uruguayan Naval Aviation Base. (WIP) I need a new terminal building. GKABS terminal building is much to big for this airport. Then, i think, i must make a new tile for sea to airfield transistion. Finally i will place some more barracks, which in reality are close to this airfield. IIRC it is the home of a pioneer battalion or so.
  14. No. It is located in the aircraft folder. In the cessna206_data.ini the wingspan is reduced, the LOD is unchanged. The game is using the wingspan as parameter for parking airplanes on an airfield. With a very small wingspan i made sure, that only the Cessna will appear on the said parking positions. Maybe, that helicopters could appear there, but this i have still to test.
  15. It needed a couple of hours to solve the problem with the light civilan aviation. My way is not elegant, but it works. First of all i created a "static" version of the Cessna 206, which you can find in the download area. I removed all files, which made this plane flyable. Then i reduced the ReferenceSpan in the Cessa206_data.ini to 6.92 meters. (I'm not sure wheter this plane can fly anymore, but who cares.) In the next step i edited the airfield file. The normal size plane parking lots i defined now as LargeParking slots. The LargeParkingMaxSpan i gave the 18 meters, as it are usual for normal parking. Then i added normal parking slots and set the ParkingMaxSpan to 7 meters. Only the static Cessna has a span less than 7 meters, so it appears in game as parked aircraft.
  16. If i use existing Cessna planes for SF2 then i get this result: The plane is half sunken in the soil. What means, that completly new Cessnas would required, which are made as static object, not as flyable planes.
