Is not going to say much on this as it would be full of expletives... Why don't they scrap the A400M buy more C-130's and C-17'S which work... and the money saved would fund harriers and Ark for next few years... Oh thats it the A-400 is a make work for Europe job... But to be honest its a very sad day for the Fleet Air Arm and the Fleet and the RAF finally get rid of the only jet that is worth its weight in gold and lives... Stupid stupid and in case you didn't get it STUPID!!!

A week.... a week he says me I just want to survive the first flight... Here's a quick summary of flight... Walk out to plane, check the Ennie over make sure everything does what it should and then climb in start engine... leave to warm gently... open throttle slowly until full power and take off follow my mates into the sky... and try to stay with them up up we go to 8000ft to 10000ft (2500m to 3300m roughly for the Mainland Europeans) pick out the enemy dive after them promptly get jumped by a pair of Nupe 11's and thats all she wrote... The Ennie is no match for a Nupe 11... well not in my hands... so far I have ended the Fokker scourge on my own...!!! Give me a Strutter though and I manage about 10 flights...

Hi and welcome, okay as to ROF I have not owned and most likely never will. In short I have been playing flight sims for around 25 years and OFF is the best WW1 Flight sim I have seen or played... As to the Campaign it is one of the most dynamic campaigns I have ever seen flight sim or otherwise the frontlines move you see troops heading into battle you see artillery barrages gas barrages etc etc the amount of work the Dev's do amazes me even after I have been flying for a year most of the great war single seaters are in the game along with plenty of 2 seaters and people are asking for more 2 seaters... myself I have been flying the Sopwith Strutter most of the time, you can have personal skins as to pictures of whats happening I rarely take any but follow the link below http://www.overflandersfields.com/info.htm This is to the OFF site and everything in here is as we see it the youtube clips etc... The Pictures etc... Others will reply to this as well with more information... As to buying phase 4 hmmm we dont know when it is due out so personally I would buy phase 3 and HITR and then get some flying done... or even just Phase 3 so you can find out if you like it and then move up in stages... It is a marvellous piece of work also the guys on this forum are some of the best I have spoken to and have answers for most questions with regards to OFF.

Thats called being Stupid Brave but Stupid... might be a good idea to go find something your own size to annoy like a Mig-17... but I suppose we have all been in that situation at one time or another... but brave try...

Must admit I have just started a new campaign with the Sopwith Strutter B1 (No rear gunner) so thats going to be fun since I am so used to flying with a rear gunner... I have done a couple of test flights in the BE2 and its a good training airplane I think...

Comment to all new people... do not annoy UncleAl as he has a razor sharp tongue that is titanium coated... but his words of wisdon are truly that words of wisdom... He's like the old pilot in the corner of the bar that no-one dare approach but when he's had a drink he is willing to partake of his wisdom freely, provided you don't annoy him... but he's a big softy at heart and we all know it... to UncleAl thank you for your words of wisdom and your time in creating your sticky's etc...

Okay you need to download everything for ODS first and make sure your WOE is patched to 2008... then unpack and install as easy as that... The files where fine when I downloaded them last month. As to what to expect in it... USAF F-15 to A-10's and anything in the middle USN Tomcats Hornets Intruders Corsair II's Marines Harriers Hornets Intruders RAF Tornado's F-3 and GR1 Jaguars Italian Air Force Tornado's and RF-104G's and a few more I cannot remember. Even though I have SF2 I still love it for the toughness of it... it is also an extemely well thought out and made Mod. It is possibly the only flight sim mod for Desert Storm well until the next one With regard to the comments about no text speak etc it is very valid as some of the people here are old timers... me for instance I have been Flight simming since about 1985ish... and even though I have a mobile a Blackberry and work in IT I still do not understand text speak etc and I would assume that a lot of others don't.

And I will third that comment Widowmaker old chap... though I have been trying out some of the other additions to CFS3 lately... and the MTO ETO et al are all pretty darned good...

And old Rickitycrate there will be no crying into your cake and ice cream... makes the other chaps nervous...

I have said it before and will happily say it again every forum should have an UncleAl... at least then you know when you are being truly stupid... And you chaps with the Casablanca thing going on... Of all the Simulations in all the world we fly this one...
