much as it says. the card i'm going to use is not connected to paypal, nor do i want it to be (for the nosy's out here, its my school refund card and will recieve exactly one more deposti in the spring before being deactivated) i want to get a prime membership, just running into the Paypal block there. while i myself could wait until regular check comes in next week then use paypal, another option may help getting more subscribed post in this forum for Erik's attn and it does mention suggestions

payable mods i would disagree with. the little line in most everyones mods about "not for use in payware". but as i've said in this and the other rendition of this thread, pay for greater access i think is a good route. you're still free not to subscribe, you just will only get say 50 dl's per month tops. something Erik said about 2180 some dl's in one month by one user still baffles me........

sweet jesus! that takes me back to my idea of daily limits for those that dont pay. back to my original understanding when i joined: 1 or 2 daily if you sign up but dont participate. 3 or 4 if you converse but dont mod. add files get modder status say 7 or 8 a day. only if you get a subscription can you go unlimited. 2181? i dont think i've d/l'd that much since i've been here, defineatly not in one month edit: last thought not the first i've observed calling for daily limits. poll time Erik?

Same way i deal with Flanker, Fulcrums and such. Stay low and fast. Like 300ft agl and450+ knots. Since i prefer my phavorite in air to mud its the way to go, and you can still get a suprise shot of on 1 or 2 of the adversary. Esp in the 80s, give the wingman Mavericks to handle AAA suprises and i carry the iron and 4x AIM-9L. Even the M model geeat white hope can suprise you if they are in front. Always makes me think of the engagement in The Warbirds where Jack Locke bests a Mirage 2000 in a vanilla F-4E......

Hey Dels, a request....... make the tanks a part of the A/C model so the skins for the tanks are in with the aircraft skin folder. Is the only reason i released the pack i made as i did, so different years used different tanks. Plus they are there most of time anyhow Still looking forward to it. All my work halts when you release the templates

Per what Centurion said, me thinks DCS wants it that way. How many of us have said of TWs DLCs "nice but we have it here at CA already".? Only DLC i can think of that wasn't easily moddable here was the F-4N and even then i only got it after he fixed for slotted stabs. DCS makes more money if you have to get the airframes from them Back to my original post, went to look up Max 09 after posting. Cant even find it for sale now, let alone price. The question might be how do we make a work around so some young blood can get in the game?

Biggest obstacle is the cost of Max 2009 for the newr folks and time for the old heads. I hoped that Max 12 or 13 would have backwards compatability to 09, but they only went back to 10. I'm currently using 15 for school and can get a two year license on the latest versions while in school. Others out there can do similar, the catch is finding the partners to try out FC's mentioned export import via Blender. Find an alternate route and i think many will start trying their hand at it
