ya know, i look up the hex code value for the European one colors. seems off, but working with it. then i post a pic of the Bronco and Skymaster together. it dawns on me why didnt i open the Bronco template and copy the colors? this looks much better. now to get off butt and do unit marks

only two things missing for a Lynx are the gun pods for on top (models, ini adding to the right spot is too easy) and spinners on teh front and back v2ks model is actually better for a Lynx missint the anti collision light on the tail. i was gonna use YAPs for my project, but it has several overlapping uvs. ok if your bird is one color but bad if youre camoflaging mando screenie, one o wonder....

check that you have a fake pilot mod in your pilots many cases of legs hanging below are from the aircraft having a fakepilot part, but not generic fake_pilot in the proper folder. its a way to add parts to original models after the lod is created, but the game will put a stock pilot in the place if you dont have the fake pilot (it just calls up empty space, one usually suffices) i will say that if you can, its better to move to SF2. ODS30AE is light years ahead of eburgers ODS (which was great in its own time). but yeah, i get it wallets are tight round the world lately

this isnt directed at the folks that have been doing this for years like you this is directed at the folks that are just getting into SF2, just getting into modding and just joining the site alot of people are either asking questions that are too vague to answer, or using their 2 posts to get free downloads to ask questions that are frankly already answered along time ago

You need to be specific about the issue. things to include -the base problem (game crashes, black skins, object doesnt show) -details of the problem (black skin on F-15C_85 from FastCargo's pack, game crashes at xx% loading, or game crashes after certain action) -basic specs of your system. we dont need to know what you ate when you built or ordered it. but processor, RAM, and graphics card might help us help you -does the problem still happen in a vanilla install (no mods) and in your modded install? do you have alot of mods or just a few? -if it is a game wide issue (like CTDs) it is highly reccommended you try things out in a vanilla install and see if the issue pops up there it is also reccomended to look up the issue before asking. there is alot of experience out there already in forums as of the time im writing this. while the sites search engine is not exactly user friendly (sorry Erik) a Google search will often pull a thread from this site. at least try to look first before asking. finally, questions about DAT (aka Dev A-Team, Capuns site, that other site) and YAP will almost immediately be referred back to those sites. It is what it is, and you wont get much help here about it from the long time members that do know. Think of it as taking your Mercedes to a Ford dealer for services, it aint happening. why is this important? because some of you are asking questions with so little details, i have seen the comment "could be anything including the density of the melon on your countertop". want help? help us help you, give better details.

is NA the only version you have, or are you merged with other installs (Europe, Vietnam etc) if you have any other version, run an exe of that version. also, is it doing this for guns as well? for bombs? or just missiles?

general discussion for a request with nothing behind it, mods and skinning for one that you have something to add (like a model) however take note: you will likely be told to create it on your own in Blender. this is a hobby for everyone involved, and they focus on their interests on their timetable. if it meshes with your wishes, great. if it does not then you may be waiting a long time this is not to discourage you from asking. if you dont ask the answer is 100% no. but be prepared for a likely disappointment

i will say mouse as joystick is an odd choice. most that want to do flight sims will at get the cheap joystick. or at minimum use the arrow keys and the mouse to pan the camera around. i do the second fairly often, as a lot of my flying is to see how stuff im working on looks in game. but i have the logitech stick for when im actually just flying a mission in a non test instal. but to each their own.........

interesting that you didnt put it in saved games like everyone else other than that, should be able to run short or long missions. just dont expect to fly more than 3 maybe 4 everytime you fire the game up, or the game could very well shut down for you (CTD or full on BSOD). but if youre trying to binge a campaign or something, use the shutdown period as a brief break. stretch. do more if you like. do less if you like. fire upp and get back to it that has been the only issue i've had thats Windows specific since Win 11 came out (Win 10 updates since then have caused the same by observation)

update wise; it ran fine for me after the updates. did my laptop first, and when that was fine did my desktop. no issues as for the long missions, i wont say i have issues flying a mission all the way through. but i havent been able to run more than about two missions at a time since Win11 came out. even on Win10, one of the post 11 release updates made it likely for a round to crash after two to four missions (two if you go all the way take off to landing, closer to four if you ALt-N alot). since i dont tend to binge play, its ok for me. run a couple, turn off, short break for whatever, restart. but that is just me

and why not? northeastern part of that could do nice for a Hunt for Red October campaign. the part of the Carolinas could do for a WW2 uboat campaign and it would be nice to fly over Ft Bragg, Raleigh or Wilson NC. just sayin.......

Is there a T-37B availble besides whats over at DAT? im not talking about Centurions A-37, which would need fakepilot wingtips to work working my FAC project, i discovered that the 21st TASS at Shaw used OT-37Bs for a couple of years, Tweets with extra radios. but no hard points, guns or wingtip fuel tanks like the Super Tweet be nice to do but not a major issue

other Kevin, how hard would it be to start a new terrain? something like the East Coast of the US? easy to start, pain to refine or simply a punishment legally not allowed to be used on folks in Gitmo?

much of their stuff has been released here as well, especially the things that were ported to SF2 at this point i would suggest transitioning to Gen2, most of the continuing work (yes i know not all, but most) is on that and it runs fairly well on Win11
