welcome to CA not meaning to be rude or a dick, but also thank you for being the first publicly visible trial of the new system. once your 30 days are up im sure you will enjoy it much more (hey, i know watchin aint as fun as playin) alternately, theres no limit on subscription downloads. even the 2 day $6.95 version. so you could make a list, pay the cost of a coffee or lunch, and spend the net 48 hours getting what you want w/o the wait

F15 ex mod
daddyairplanes replied to debmalya's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
possible, certainly. we have an F-15SA, which preceded the QA and EX the hard part will be setting up a new pit, and adjusting the avionics for SF2. SF2 doenst like 1990s avionics much (the most advanced bit being teh 70s avionics DLL) let alone 2020s. and theres not to many modelers left to make the new almost all glass cockpit but aircraft model and flight model, it would be no problem to make one. you could do it yourself in fact -
stealth in sf2
daddyairplanes replied to debmalya's topic in Thirdwire: Strike Fighters 2 Series - General Discussion
its always been wonky. it often works better to search the topic in the wider web, and let Google send you to the page than to use the sites search engine. that said, not sure actually how its been on the new and improved site (old habits and all) -
dunno if you need the input, but non newbie downloading seems to be workin fine got a kick out of the countdown to DL after i signed out/back in

dammit, would have to redo at least the E-8s and E model tankers all over again

the optimist in me hopes it works the reallist/retired NCO in me waiting to see how joe goes and screws this up as somebody once said, make it idiotproof and the world will send a better idiot. but i hope im wrong and this works

that would be rather nice the current USAF one covers C model and later via fake pilot. not bad, but on model is always nicer

i was just curious what the new ones were, especially bumpin up to "contributor" today. you'd hafta design the only one i suggested, you being the HMFIC

just curious. im amused by it, and curious how i just earned a contributor badge. so im wondering what all the badge rankings are (and if theres a HMFIC badge for Erik) will admit, was highly amused when the site came back up and i was informed i was a rookie. i mean, i havent been here since BioHazard days, but i have been around awhile now. even uploaded a couple mods along the way

subscription no. the modders have not had to pay so far since we are the ones providing the content. we did offer to pay and get subscriptions earlier in the year to help out and were told without us there wouldnt be anything to download that said, i do donate when i can. thank you, your post reminded me to drop some more change in the bucket i dont think so. it has the potential to be a loaded an mean question, but i'll take it at face value. a lot of folks can wonder if im taking my own advise, and truth is no. but im running a different set of circumstances. i did aply the same logic to getting a Paramount+ subscription so that i could watch football games. its 7.99 a month, which equates to one less Burger King trip per month when im out and about. in the end its a mix of what you can afford, and what you want to pay. if folks want mods bad enough, making a plan and spending the same amount as a lunch to get everything they want over two days isnt that bad of a deal. and Erik gets a little more money in the war chest to keep this community going.

ya know, i was in favor of limits on all subscriptions except 1 yr. say 3 a day trail, 5 a day 1 month etc but since you are not, i give people that gripe elsewhere the advice to make a list of what they want, get a trial subscription, and spend the next two days getting stuff. at 6.95, thats more than many people spend on a coffee or a fast food lunch. if you cant afford that, then you probably got bigger problems than getting mods for a flight sim
