work around would probablyl be more to the tune of scripted"strike" missions, lowering a PJ "bomb" onto a downed pilot "target" with no explosions pretty sure even Eagle wont be able to play with the files to create a SAR mission, other than renaming a duplicate STRIKE mission i gots ideas folks, just not enough know how to make em reality

i wasnt quite as research heavy when i did the ANG skins and the serials are also very generic as for VNAF, joe baugher should tell ya what serials went there. but given how VNAF Herks went, there wont be much matchin beyond that. and those only had 22 serials to consider (iirc, 3 were not strictcly matched). will look up the site this weekend that i got the Herk serials from. appropriately, im beaucoup busy with homework the next 48 hours Screen Recording 2025-12-03 150114.mp4

just tagged you into a very old pm thread on that topic. might be helpfule might not dont have access to the working commentary from while Centurion-1 was working on it anymore. that mightve been helpful been toying with a revisit to this bird myself (ANG of course). along with 789 other projects lemme know how deep down the rabbit hole your going with this. whether its a peek in from outside or running with a watch screaming "im late"

well, there is a difference in those of us who have done and ask, and those who just ask for something to be made. i've been blessed with some new models to play with over the years, generally starting with me asking if there was a improvement on some older model floating out there -
hello, dont know the answer off top of my head but i would suggest getting one of the mega mods like ODS30AE or NATO Fighters 5 and look at those folders. in the mmulti part ones like NF5, all but terrains and aircraft are usually in the first part of the series most of the major campaign mods feature the changes it seems you want to make. good luck

i dunno. once the semesters over and i got some time agaiin, i might have fun arguing with BlackStar on there. starting with "so what have you done to add to the game?" -
Mean Kevin may bite your head off, but in 90% of cases it will be deserved try to search the answer to your questions (theres a vast knowledge base on SF2 modding and the Wings over series before that), and dont complain about download restrictions (theres a long story behind it, and its not about hiding mods behind a paywall) and you'll be good. so says Nice Kevin

ohare had tankers stationed out of it for many years, going back to KC-97 days iirc plus you have alot of cargo running through there tactical birds in the Chicago area would more typically go to NAS Glenview until the mid 90s tho. especially when doing displays for the annual Air and Water show, they'd park at Glenview before doing the flight display over the lake. dont know how that goes since Glenview shut down damn, typing this make me realize i went to the last airshow at Glenview before it closed

thats interestng my wife likes watching air disaster videos (ticked about my hobby? ). i recall one of them about a Tu-154 crash stating something about Russian artificial horizons being opposite from western ones and this being a cause of the crash (french pilot iirc, got confused by instruments). also swear i recall reading that as being a reason for difficulty in converting Ukrainian pilots over, again difference in instruments but maybe i heard/remembered wrong
