remains to be seen. but he hasnt been as prolific post Covid as he was say ten years ago my mention was also how ValAstur adds a detailed back story to the mods, not just slaps Norm 83 on a jet and says here ya go -

need some Vari-ezes parked there i swear, no matter what the photo subject, any pic ever of the Osh Kosh air show has one of these parked in frame

do consider using jpg instead, especially if its not stock (or otherwise very old model) you can make it larger and still have smaller file size. and someone once told me: for the same size, using jpgs in upto a dozen skin folders will still take up less space than doing a universal bmp in the main aircraft folder. WAY WAY less space if youre putting bmps into individual folders however as said elsewhere, i have run into situations where i had to use bmp, so its good to know how to play with them too
-
not sure if that was it, although what i was talking about was a mega install (couple campaigns, lots of stuff spanning eras). again, dude had alot of sketchy models in there, so it got yanked after a few days there is a V-22 on site, and like 80% of the helos on here are yakarov's babies. Dels did the Apache, idunno as to the Hips and Hinds as to the questions, so long as youre learning and its not the same question over and over, you'll be fine your bar tab starts on the third time you ask why your bmp's dont work

Ekranoplan, i could swear someone had one set up some time ago. but their release was a mega install with alot of questionable (re: probably pirated) mods so it hasnt gotten too far still, i'd think of it more as an AI to target than a player flyable. but thats me... for helo's talk to yakarov79 and guruu. the masters of SF2 rotary and iirc guruu set up an improved flight model for helos in general for the ODS30AE mod

hell of a shocker after being offline for a day hopin you get better soon, and that the road is not too bumpy to recovery but i am thankful you are able to reach out to us still. and many thank you's to your daughter for helping you keep in touch

jpg is the best to use, but some older birds will only accept BMP. found that out the hard way when i was helping YAP-RW awhile back. even better is when one texture has to stay BMP and the others go jpg.....

double check that its 24bit not 32

hell, if young blood wants to make his own skins, let him make his own skins. lawd nose the rest of us nitpick details and make our own stuff anyhow. rejecting the current reality and subsstituting our own

this is homework believe or not ODS30AE should get the full video in a bit fun fact: when Armed Forces Network (AFN) first set up in Saudi Arabia in late 1990, Rock the Casbah was the first song they played

Missing Center Station Pylons on F-105 and F-4's
daddyairplanes replied to CSomers611's topic in General Discussion
Any update? You get it fixed? not fixed? tap the keyboard three times if you found them but they fell on you and now youre trapped..... -
I'll step in for a secon and ask why historically, the Phantom could carry a max of 6 Sparrows. the four underfuslage and two under the pylons where the Winders normally go But they did not carry both Sparrow and Winders underwing, it was one or the other. i dont recall if stock allows Sparrows on the inboard pylons (i doubt it) but i do recall that several folks have modded an inboard Sparrow station ---------------------------------- as to your issue, go look atthe F-15E data ini. maybe a E_92 rahter than the base one from '89. that should have underwing stations that allow IRM and SAHM (i think that AIM-120 classes as a SAHM?). compare notes, and boost values for Sparrow as needed.

dont know what your trying to do, but you might want to have a look at this. SQUADRONLIST.7z fun fact about the squadronlist, you can expand it way out. this version has 2999 slots (only about 8-900 entries iirc). so long as you dont have a break in slots (898,899. , 901) you can place stuff throughout as you want. DON'T screw with the first 405 entries, those a re the stock game ones from TW. i'd prefer you not mess with existing entries period (chunk of work from Homefries and myself a long time ago) but defineatly leave the first 405 alone if you dont want to break your stock game
