are you trying to change the appearance of the prop while parked or in flight? when parked teh prop is a part of the skin. however, when that fan starts spinning it is "skinned" by a seperate tga. you want to control what it looks like in flight, you need to adjust teh tga, not the model and the prop tga shows up along with the skin on model the tga is the circley part

agreed, although taking quasi steps into the job market im learning employers want folks that know it. even if the employers dont really understand what it is im willing to give it a shot (with a 10 lb block of salt) given im getting old enough to wonder if i got time for all the projects i want to do also agreed, although being back in school im getting many definitions of what AI is. everything from Skynet down to spell checker in Word. but probably 99% of what everyday people interact with is actually just really in depth databases. the AI's that are breaking out of their firewalls, hacking into stuff on their own, and suggest nukes 98% of the time are not in our subscription level

good luck. it will run with a mix of 1. whats available online, and 2. what common other "successful" searches have rendered. it wont include any text that was never scanned somehow into the internets. it will judge what thousands to millions of others thought was a good answer as part of what it feeds back. look at the knowledge, genuine curiousity, and willingness to accept what the AI overlord tells them in a search of the average person. now realize that will skew the results that you get no matter how specific you are inputting what you want i gave it a go this summer hunting down A-37B airframes. i believe that it produced 4 (out of 577) results that i may not have firmly placed. meanwhile i still have about 20 that i have no clue on, and 50 that i only have one service location for in a 20 year career. so 503 vs 4 on where they were from 1972-1992. did it speed up my search? not this time, but i was trying something new and the slow down that comes with learning and adapting. i only say i would have ran faster without because i have years practice hunting without AI

not forgotten. but i dont think the US, particularly Congress, is ready for an all or mostly drone fleet. the reason i believe the F-16G could happen is that the USAF has fallen below a Congressionally mandated minimum of manned fighters. literally, the USAF is breaking the law at the moment hell, the USAF even has some familiarity with the Block 70. even tho they dont operate it themselves, the training is still conducted in the US. with USAF officers involved. seperate active production line. reasonable amount of commonality and familiarity. faster to new airframes on ramps. and being in compliance

more than lower cost, faster than F-35 can deliver. F-35 deliveries are likely maxed at around 200 a year, but the majority of that does NOT go to the USAF. F-15EX was selected partially because the F-16 line was closed to be moved from Ft Worth TX to Greenville SC. but the F-16 production line is back open. althouhg it has a backlog of around 120 orders, its also only producing around 25 jets annually at the moment. mostly due to supply chain issues. work those out, and we could be rocking new Vipers faster than we did new Eagles. The F-16G designation (even though its Lockmart given, not DoD given) does make you wonder if it will be Weasel focused. oh and I do think this is more likely to go through than even the EX was. as bad as the USAF wants an all 5th and 6th gen fighter force, they cant BUILD it fast enough to stay in force limits set by law. yes to new toys and gizmos. no to conformal fuel tanks (they'd "have' to test and train on using them compared to legacy Vipers) first to test in about 3 years(if the DoD bumps a pair of test birds ahead of foriegn orders). first to units in about 8. legacy Vipers replaced by 35s or Block 70s in about 14 years. i could see it

the biggie for ramp start is setting up the start point for the base., and max number of birds. if you download the Creek Klaxon mod and install it right, your wing man will always be right next to you when you start at Rammstein. just dont fly with four in the flight. it would be one more step for a long laundry list of things to do already in campaign and up to the modder if its worth it. agreed, single mission for a full merged or the complete install would be no bueno.

stock hangars, no. i remember discussions a few years back about making hangars that could have parked aircraft inside, playing with the collisions. i dont believe anyhthing actually came of that discussion but i would say that nothings impossible. what i discussed was more for ramp starts, which are more realistic anyhow just because it is possible however, doesnt mean everyone or even anyone wants to take the time to actually make it reality mythbusters rating : Plausible

i would think that it could be done through heavy ini edits, similar to how formation take offs can be done from a runway. i have included that for pairs takeoffs (on the runway) from Ramstein AB with a particular F-4 mod the catch is that you will need to do it for EVERY airbase you intend to take off from. and do some trial and error to get them placed right. and remember to have slots for upto 4 aircraft when you edit it, unless you want the second pair of your flight crashing because they are trying to form up with you in the air over the taxiway is it possible? i would say certainly. is it more trouble than its worth? well, thats up to you. however, i'd take notice that nobody's really done it since the gen 1 days Menrva's link will also be quite useful, if you really want ot go down that rabbit hole
