Cooking dinner at a DFAC (dining facility) on Warner Barracks, Bamberg. the news was broken to me by a KP (one of the other cooks wife) who announced the third plane hit the Pentagon. the fun part is, that was also my wife's 25th birthday (yes, today was her 50th). she was shopping at the commisary, getting things for her birthday cake that i was gonna bake that evening. i called her as soon as i figured out what was going on and told her to get to the DFAC. the commisary was literally at the edge of base, Zollnerstrasse was on the other side of the wall where the dairy goods were. my DFAC was in the center of the base. we got bigger earfuls about bin Laden in USAEUR since we figured we were next on his list, not NYC. never did get that cake made. the whole US military spent the day updating alert rosters and records, cancelling leaves and recalling people. same in Germany, except we were there until 2200 that night (it started at around 1500 for us there) final note on it was a large amount of us lived in us government housing that was located off base. german apartments, but uncle sam paid the bills. that night we were advised to wear civilians coming on base, and the cooks authorized to wear BDUs so we could carry them in gym bags. it was close enough to walk and i did so my wife could have the car handy. on the way into the base, for about two blocks before the gate, was a sea of candles and flowers. we Americans were told to look as german as possible right after. most of Bayern was red white and blue for a week after

EXP1 has content to enhance SF2 Europe as well as the Mission editor. EXP2 has content to enhance Isreal. thats why they cue to those versions. he never did an expansion pack for Vietnam or straight SF2 (maybe because of what modders had put out already?), and both expansion packs came out before NA\ NF5 is a modder creation, not Third Wire. keep in mind the EXPs dont just affect Europe and Israel but all other versions in your merged install.

what makes me laugh is the whole "pay for mods" mentality you dont come in this "store" and "pay" for mods if youre patient and participative, you dont have to pay at all if you want unlimited stuff, then pay a cover fee to get into lotsa mods club. but participation in the group discussion is free. not being a dick (openly, on the sly, or just ignorantly of others) is also free they got it real good with unlimited on a trial sub. my suggestion at the start of it was to put a limit on downloads for trial subs, and only go unlimited with month or more. but boss man didnt like that. so as was said, skip a fast food meal/overpriced coffee and get your hearts content, or readjust your priotities until 7 bucks/ 5 quid/ 9000 IQD/ 5500 bolos/ 602 rubles isnt that big of a dent in your living expenses

if you want a pack, look at teh mega mods. I myself have done some mixed wing mods with multiple aircraft type (but not a full mega mod). but the most modern i get is about mid 90s. for what you want the closest is Operation Darius, but that mod was done around a decade ago if your looking for modern as in 2010 and later, keep in mind that SF2 is a Vietnam war game at heart. many modders have done work arounds to bring modern aircraft AND their avionics in game. but it doesnt always work and the first thing mentioned when someone complains that a F-35 or J-20 radar doesnt work right is that "its only there via workaround, the game isnt designed to support those features". only reason we get along ok into the 90s is the stock teen series jets
