I have gotten the Campaign screen to load without a crash using the SF1 background. However I do have an issue with transparent menus. See the upper left of the second picture for an example.

Here are some additional CL-1200 Lancer pictures, it is one of the what-if aircraft that I wish we had for SF2, along with the Vought XF8U-3 Crusader III. On the topic of air superiority the F-106 was at lest the equal of any of the other delta wing fighter/interceptors of its era, MiG-21, Mirage III, etc, especially once the Project SixShooter update was added. -

Ground objects do not recognize when an aircraft target has been destroyed. I have seen ships waste six or more missiles on the falling fuselage of an aircraft that has already been destroyed until it hits the ground or denigrates. As a result this lets the rest of the engaged flight approach unmolested.

Looking at the list of ships you provided a lot of them are in the SF2 Downloads section and others are stock SF2 items or may be included as optional extras of some add on terrains.

What exactly is listed in the TYPES.INI and TARGETS.INI files that you are using that you are expecting to see? It would also help if you would please attach some examples of the ship targets from those files that you are missing so that we may help you fix the issue.

Try looking at the cockpit.ini file for the aircraft and change the Mirror node's type from "MIRROR" to "inactive" and see what happens. [Mirror]--------------------->[Mirror] Type=MIRROR---------->Type=inactive NodeName=Mirror--->NodeName=Mirror
