  1. Yankee Air Pirate 1 has the HH-53 if my mind serves me right.
  2. Agreed. I haven't touched the settings for the cockpit in any of the updates, so it's most definitely a patch issue.
  3. Try these. SU-30MKK Photoshop templates.7z
  4. The D will be available in "two weeks" from Mirage Factory.
  5. You have to extract them from the CAT files, which one? I don't know offhand. Then in the Objects/Aircraft directory, create a similar folder, place your modded ini's in there, and therefore the game will use those instead of the default ones.
  6. It's Iraq man, I spent my year there and nobody in my Troop could figure the place out, to include me. It's just the way it is there man. Besides, you'd be amazed how many people they can fit in one of those. Was doing a search and a good sized family came out of there. Weird, kinda like the TARDIS...
  7. I honestly don't think so, as sometimes I get the same problem. If there was a way I'd like to know too...
  8. I remember when I was in Jalalabad on the way out and (later on I found out) it was a Captain pointing four PVC pipes (like that old Vietnam era M220 rocket launcher, if I remember the designation correct) at a helicopter that was flying by. I was so livid that if there wasn't a 1SG standing there, I would have gotten into some serious trouble for giving him a beat down. Just stupid s**t like that could get him and those around us killed.
  9. Well that's why the Apache crew (and others) have that attitude, the constant stress does mess with your mind. And no I'm not going to feel (never did) sorry for some "poor" Taliban or Iraqi who's trying to kill me. The basic feeling is that either it's him or me, and sorry, I don't deploy to die for my country, it's to make sure they die for theirs. Don't get me wrong macelena, you pretty much hit it on the head why they act like that in your second paragraph. Stretch that out for a year and you'll get what you see.
  10. It's Hooah But well said CrazyhorseB34
  11. It can be chalked up to coincedences, and the fact that the pilot used "Bongo" when talking to the ground elements is a sure sign he had a good idea of what it does, based on past history. Because Iraqi casevac is pretty damn efficient, and so it was only natural to assume.
  12. Which is also true suhsjake. As for the pilots... after listening to the pace of the engagement, it's clear that the pilots took the time to establish the fact that they were armed, and not just deciding at the instant to waste them. Generally it's gotten so bad that they'll throw a 15-6 (I got hit with two in Afghanistan, and I was clean) at you faster than the insurgents can shoot at you. So pilots, and the ground elements will think about ROE more than you think. And as far as having been prone to make mistakes? Yeah, but the outgoing unit probably took the time to show the new pilots what's going on. As far as insurgents not realizing they're spotted? I saw a good CJTF-82 vid and the T-ban targets were definitely not worrying about the Apache until it opened up on them. And to be quite honest with you, if they hadn't pointed out the cameras, I would have thought the reporters had AKSU's.
  13. It's basic ROE guidance.
  14. Man you can't say it any better than that...
  15. Position=-0.3685,14.000,2.4751 These are the values I use courtesy of Vampyre.
  16. And while one of the ugliest aircraft, it has much better performance than the Super Sabre.
  17. I use the USERLIST, which can determine whether or not they're COMMON, RARE, etc. Of course that means editing each file, as well as editing the files in the particular map. Such as the default Desert terrain. I have most nations as friendly, and Paran as my enemy. Using Spinner's Parani Seaqeh, I usually see those, along with Mig-23s or so.
  18. Unfortunately I don't malibu43, alot of that information was lost in a wipe I had to do with my computer, sorry.
  19. The Litening III is positioned right next to the right main gear extension. Also loadouts change depending on the circumstances.
  20. Agreed, is the stats from the start of BioHaz? Or when CA became official? Still alot of downloads fo sho. But I don';t think it tops sites such as for MSFS, but hey, it's still good to know
  21. http://562.50megs.com/LOMAC/Tutorials/LST.zip Here's a basic tutorial I wrote years ago for Lock On: Modern Air Combat. It's in Adobe PDF format, but should also help as well. Some other advice is to look up aircraft, or the aircraft you're planning on weathering, and download as many photos from as many angles as possible. Use black, browns, rust, etc. You can get colors from any site, but Don Color is good as they have small images for using the eye dropper to get the color you want, or give a base to use the color picker. I got a small gallery myself that I use for custom colors, or whatnot.
  22. Well since it's a CGR, try using the A/G radar and locking up a target. That's the only way I can think of at the moment, as that would be the plausible
