  1. Well that is good
  2. Well I hope you figure that out who did it, because that's a lot of drama for no reason. I mean I have my thought on how to handle it, but yeah, forum rules and the like.
  3. That sucks man, who called in the welfare check? I'd have some words with whoever said you were going through that, especially the EMT
  4. Also this came to mind sometime, but I managed to increase the rounds for the 30mm in the Wipeout. It's for the Flanker562 Wipeout pack, but overall it increases the rounds from 1000 to 1350, so some pilots will probably appreciate it.
  5. That's cause for more speculation
  6. Also I noticed a slight change in how the Nyx at least engaged me one day. I was able to get out of its "visibility" cone and, more or less, not get shot at as much as I used to or locked onto, so the values do help in the new configs. Right now, I have moved some files, and the NVGs are condensed into the "160th_NVG" PBO, so there's a little less need to include them in the UH-60_c. Not much reason to keep it in the 60_c folder anyway, since it's stuff people have seen, so GitHub will reflect that. As for UA-57, I moved it from the 160th to Task Force 562, where it seems more appropriate than in an aerial unit. True, you can add it anyway, and might do that to the vehicles that they have, or not, but they're more support than combat. Usually the unit will have a secure place, unless it's a FARP.
  7. Okay previously I thought the DSHKM had the ability to be broken down, but it didn't have that ability. I fixed it after completing the Sentry Gun, and now it can be assembled and disassembled for gameplay. Now that's completed, I got some more stuff probably on the way, just gotta figure out what's next to work on.
  8. Did some fixing with the Flanker562 Taliban Fighters, fixing the name of the bag that the DSHKM assembles/disassembles to. Also gave the UA-57 the ability to be broken down into two backpacks, and is also loaded into the TF562 Offroad and GMVs, with one system per vehicle. Not much else so far, but yeah, going to get that out Sunday, so this Sunday: - Flanker562 Helicopter Pack - Flanker562 MQ-17 - Flanker562 Taliban Fighters
  9. Nice to meet you all (there's simply too many of you for multiple posts), but glad to have you here!
  10. Here's the current iteration, only two sections. Again if you have some ideas of what you'd like to see, let me know and I'll add it. More is planned but running into a wall trying to think of what else is needed: Afghanistan Tactical Manual beta 1.pdf
  11. We tried to enact a policy where we would host the game install files, with some way of doing it with TK. I mean I don't need to see (as well as Staff) "drug deals" within the community publicly, but it's up to you via DM and so on. I mean we don't do that stuff, but realistically we can't stop you if you do it via DM keep it there. I'd like to upload the game files with some charge (like a subscription or whatnot) going to maintaining the site, but I don't enact policy around here, I just suggest things and enforce policy.
  12. i mean so far WoE is on Steam, and I would guess that TK is moving to that sometime to better distribute his games. I mean why not? Saves money on hosting files and stuff when you got the structure to do it.
  13. Okay, due to a DM conversation, I adjusted the RCS (radar cross section) of the MQ-17, making it easier per the MQ-12 RCS values. The dual rotors look cool, but are radar-friendly, so that was increased a bit from the current value (was 0.3, now 0.85). Did some fixes, and either it's you good people bringing up issues, or gameplay that finds the errors. I want to thank those who help fix and improve the mods I make. I appreciate you. I also did a pass on all the helicopters for the Flanker562 Helicopter Pack, and I have adjusted or added Radar and Visual values that should enhance gameplay for next Sunday. I should go over the other helicopters, too, though, so we'll see. Updates for next Sunday: - Flanker562 Helicopter Pack - Flanker562 MQ-17
  14. Okay I'm going to work on an "Afghanistan Tactical Manual" for the Afghanistan theatre because I served as a JFO in the real world, and assisted the dev team as a SME for the A-10C module, so while I have real-world experience to draw from, I'd like to hear people's assessment and experiences if you'd like to share them here. I will condense it and add my stuff since well, the modeling is pretty good (I found where I served pretty easy after some tries), so those who play on the map, can assist me. This will focus on mountain warfare, as elsewhere is pretty easy compared to the complexities of fighting in that area, mainly the East map and some of the other mountainous areas. So if you feel like you have something to offer, please stop on by and say something, and I'll incorporate it into the manual.
  15. Flanker562 Taliban Fighters RC17 - DSHKM Now has a working muzzle flash https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=668919514 Flanker562 MQ17 RC1 - First Release https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3727717992 Flanker562 Helicopter Pack RC196 - Improved the ability for the MQ-17 to lift the assigned weight (thanks to Null045 for bringing it up). - Tweaked the config entry for the UH-60M UAS to flesh it out some more. - Due to a request, the turret that was not operational, is now operational on the MQ-17 Hawk, and has a laser designator. Also gave it capability to use the 20mm gun pods from the Buzzard. - Condensed some MQ-17 textures to clean the models up. - S-70/94/94U have basic HMD support. Until I find (or somebody hooks me up), they will have the same military HMD symbology. It is subject to change if I find somebody who knows how to code HMDs (I do have one person who may be able to help me, so it'll probably change in the future). https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=667709746

  17. Just uploaded a Carrier Quals mission, so you can practice with the CJS Super Hornet (E/F/G) on the default map. Nothing special, but will allow you to fly with your friends and such.

  20. @Erik can confirm, it looks like the Downloads section took a shit.
  21. Ahh okay, apparently I didn't have the new link, was at the old one, thanks man.
  22. Some people are saying it's back, while so far as of like a couple days ago it was down for me, and a quick check shows it down for me.
