  1. Already answered in detailed here: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/85846-rwr-detection-of-ahm/ Simple answer: you can't, unless you convert those AHMs to SAHMs as a workaround.
  2. What littlesmoke showed is correct. SEAD is the mission type but ANTI_RADAR is an equally working statement for a SEAD sub-type that's available in the game. When the game generates a SEAD mission, your tasking might be to destroy radars; in that case, you can specify a precise loadout for that tasking, the game automatically chooses the ANTI_RADAR loadout. We already knew this, we featured it extensively in the ODS 30AE mod, and it's already used on fantastic aircraft add-ons such as the Mirage F1s.
  3. @Viper63a Like I said above, we already replaced those tank 3d models with brand new detailed ones made by our great colleague @yakarov79. We're slowly working on a pretty substantial update for the ODS 30AE mod. Viper, if you wish to help with the update, just say so, send me a PM and we'll meet in the restricted forum. I could use some help on remaking skins for other low-poly objects, as well as aircraft cockpits.
  4. No worries, even if incomplete it's always better than nothing. Feel free to send me a private message if you find them, as not to clutter this thread.
  5. Nice work, @OlWilly! Those wonderful cockpits were all made by Stary. He also made alternative colors for the MiG-23 ones, any chance you could fix textures with those colors as well? Below two examples, one from the MLD and the other from his BN cockpit. I'd surely avoid the Su-35 and Su-37 from the SF1 section. They shouldn't even be available for download, since they are illegal rips from other games and according to site rules, they shouldn't be uploaded. I also have doubts about the legitimacy of the MiG-1.44. Just be careful and eventually double check with site admins about them.
  6. Absolutely, something is wrong with it. That's why I'd need someone expert with editing FMs, though for fuel matters I can look at it myself. Unfortunately baffmeister is no longer active here, he's the FM expert and had made the wonderful flight model for the F-22A I released. Thanks! Astore made that texture, then I had to fix its proportions. A new 3d model of the cockpit is very unlikely as there are very few 3d modellers around and I'd rather have them work on new additions. I really liked your F-35 skins, especially the F-35B and F-35C since nobody made better ones for those based on kblomkvist work. Do you have a template of those skins by chance? It'd be helpful for the project.
  7. My dear friend @Astore has been working on new Italian skins for the old F-35s by Klavs81, updated long ago by FastCargo for Strike Fighters 2. I offered him my help in finishing decals for those skins, but soon this side-project grew bigger and I've done lots of tweaks, improvements and fixes to the whole F-35 family. Here below a quick showcase of what has been done so far. Original cockpit by Klavs81; misplaced nodes for counters, MFD much affected by ambient lighting, missing HSI Reworked cockpit by Astore and yours truly; new textures, working HSI, moved various nodes, full-day white lighting for the sake of proper look to the MFDs Corrected hitboxes and collision points on all F-35 variants (created F-35I Adir variant for Israel) Reworked slimer colors (F-35B with Italian GRUPAER skin by Astore) Reworked afterburner effect Italian F-35A with 6° Stormo skin by Astore; integrated fake-pilot canopy mod as released by Coupi This is just a sneak peak. The cockpit 3d model is terribly dated, with just four functional MFDs (Radar, RWR, Map and HSI). Most of it is a plain texture, but thanks to Astore's work it is very nice now. I've also reworked other data bits, userlists, added more updated weapons (my thanks to @ravenclaw_007 for working on those) and so on. Is anyone interested in this? What I've shown is WIP so far. I need help in finishing it with decent quality. Mainly we need a rework of the avionics, revised flight models and eventually some help on additional skins and decals. Apart from few new skins, I've included and slightly reworked all skins made by @kblomkvist and @simonmiller416 for the F-35A, F-35B and F-35C. Full credits to them for those.
  8. As far as I remember, it was once possible with the use of decals on SF1 games. With SF2 it is no longer possible, so the only solution would be to edit the 3d model somehow or create specific FakePilot parts.
  9. Just make them .ini files for all stock aircraft blank and set them to Read Only. It's what I did for ODS 30AE. It wasn't pleasant to save all those blank .ini files for most stock aircraft and objects, but it was worth the effort.
  10. This is FastCargo's ASAT mod, for Wings Over Israel. It needs slight updates for SF2: https://combatace.com/files/file/6311-asat-for-wings-over-israel/ For SF2, GKABS may do something more upon it.
  11. True. I recall I managed to reach something like 110000 ft or more with the NF-104. After a certain value (110000 or 120000 or something in between), the camera no longer follows the plane. Unlike the wall in the horizontal plane, the vertical one does not prevent the aircraft from going even higher, but the game's camera does not follow the aircraft this far.
  12. Haha, nice, so I'm not the only one wanting to see it in Strike Fighters. I'd really love to have the X-32, the X-35 and the YF-22 for SF2. The F-35 and the F-22 are not the same as their prototypes, which somehow look cooler to my eyes.
  13. Sorry but no. These versions I've uploaded are not even complete as I already explained in the first post. I'd rather complete them someday rather than starting a new one. They were started in 2017 and only got released in 2022. A WW2 version would require even more researches from zero and lots of free time I lack. Strike Fighters 2 is pretty much dead, we few remaining modders can keep it alive only for so long. A mere hundred downloads don't justify spending some years behind the development of a new terrain. Sometimes it feels like a waste of effort to my eyes. I wish the community was still active as it used to be. These days it's mostly about end-users asking for such free additions. Unfortunately this stuff doesn't grow on trees and actually is very annoying to develop in the long term.
The impressive number of skins is just the tip of the iceberg. Fantastic quality and huge amount of research into this package. Simply put, nothing else comes close.
  14. If I remember correctly, that Su-35S shouldn't even be allowed. It's a 3d model ripped from HAWX. We truly miss proper modern Sukhois and MiGs. Just saying...
  15. You could try using the DDS format instead of TGA. I don't really like it as it brings a loss of quality but it's more optimized. You might want to keep backups of the tiles in original quality.
Yet another top-notch addition by the Mirage F1 Team. The definition of quality and attention to details!
  16. @strahi I don't understand what your post is about. Is it an improved skin for one of the tanks in the mod? It's not needed anymore as next version of ODS 30AE will feature brand new tanks exclusively made by yakarov79.
  17. Outstanding work, Gepard! It's a tragedy that all of that is a current warzone, but in a way you're giving light to it with such artistic work. Props to you.
  18. Pretty ironic, I had worked on a new Iraq-Iran terrain when Centurion-1 was planning an Iraq-Iran war mod which never saw the light of day. My new terrain then got included by Spudknocker for a different Iraq-Iran mod, and has been the starting point for ODS 30AE. Similar situation about this Balkans scenario; I was hoping to see Baltika's terrain done but I ended up making it from scratch on my own instead. Working on ODS 30AE has been a fantastic team effort and experience, and I'm still improving upon it with time. A similar mod for the Balkans terrain is pretty far from being doable in the same level of quality. The terrain I made lacks target objects for cities and similar target areas, and I'm not in the mood of getting into it again anytime soon. I'd rather fine-tune ODS 30AE for the time being, while desperately hoping for SF2 to come back a bit more relevant than it is now. IMHO a mere hundred downloads for the Balkans terrain don't justify such a huge effort like ODS 30AE anymore. A terrain like that would have reached thousands of downloads years ago, now it's sign SF2 is pretty much dead and we modders are basically keeping it alive for our own.
  19. You did. Once you click, the game generates the mission data and finds no aircraft for the enemy, that is an instant crash. Seriously, let's not reinvent the wheel, trust what I know about the game. The MiG-17 and Badger are not enough. The stock nations called by that terrain require stock MiG-21s. Without those, it's no surprise it crashes as I've explained above. Again, it's not a bug of the terrain but a consequence of your install being too clean than it should. Terrain add-ons rely heavily on stock game objects for various missions types.
  20. Crashes to desktop happen with Intercept if the enemy side doesn't spawn with any aircraft either because it doesn't have a proper runway size to spawn on (heavy bombers require at least one LARGE_AIRBASE defined on the terrain), or it simply does not have any aircraft to spawn with. On SF2 Complete Edition I have no such issues with the Italy terrain I released, all runway types exist in it and I get stock MiGs to intercept. Modded nations.ini or userlist.ini files are the main causes of such unwanted behavior. Nothing's wrong with the terrain data. If the enemy nations have no aircraft to spawn with, it's no wonder you get a CTD. In that case, Allen's solution is correct, you'd have to add AllowedMissionTypes and remove Intercept from it. @EricJ That airbase issue was fixed the day after. I'm not aware of additional heightmap bugs with airfields, but those would never cause a crash to desktop.
  22. Something else must have happened because the ODS installer does not overwrite nor touch anything (no other mod folders, no settings nor registry keys) by any means. The issue you're having with NF5 is definitely unrelated. I suppose it's more related with Win11 or any system updates. What the ODS installer does is installing a clean, brand new mod folder and adding related link and a renamed executable for it to work soon after installation. It shouldn't CTD as soon as you run it, if that happens something else must have gone wrong. I wish I could help more but I'm on Win10 and I cannot get a clear picture of what went wrong on your end.
