  2. Yes, I can do both. I am not sure about the first thing, but there should be a way to give priority to certain targets such as air bases.
  3. About the J-31, if we want to avoid what ifs, we can always put it as a Chinese aircraft visiting Iran and supporting the Iranian air units during the Coalition attack.
  4. I think it would also be nice to have a 2018 version of Operation Darius, with a more recent and accurate order of battle. But we would need to update the package with new planes, I guess. @PFunk I'll be updating the terrain package in the next weeks, because there was a nasty bug with Kharg Island Airport. Now it's fixed, so be on the lookout for the next version if you plan to repackage Op. Darius with it.
  5. AFAIK nobody is working on it (we're slowly working on an updated Operation Desert Storm), so I'm very glad you want to update it with my beauty! Let's hear the others for permission, but I think that many would be interested in seeing how Op Darius works with the new terrain.
  6. Grazie per le info, Gianni! Ok then, I will add Incirlik and some of those listed by daddyairplanes. King Abdulaziz Airbase is on the terrain already, but it appears as Dhahran Airbase during ODS dates (it was renamed to King Abdulaziz in 1999).

  8. Hi! The Oil Rig shows up fine on my terrain. Make sure you have added the needed entries in the _types.ini, and copy all the Oil Rig related files (check Gepard's package here: https://combatace.com/files/file/12331-small-oil-rig/).
  9. Diego Garcia is already added. Don't worry about the long list; just give me the names of the most used. Which Turkish air bases, for instance? It's just a matter of finding correct coordinates and I can add them in no time. They will be useful in campaigns for the AI aircraft. Adds to the realism. Also, unlike the original DS terrain, this one is a lot more dangerous and full of SAMs, so we need those BUFFs doing their job!
  10. I have received the suggestion to add Taif Airbase as it was used during ODS. However, it's outside the terrain so it only exists for the AI as an OffMapAirbase. This got me thinking; can anyone provide me with a list of airbases that need to be added for ODS? My terrain should have all possible player-usable bases already, so I simply have to focus on adding Off Map Airbases.

  12. Are you sure you're not the one being disinformed? The Su-57 is complete already and it's being fielded this year, in very low numbers obviously. It''s surprising the Russians are sending two of them already in a warzone. Still, everything is to be verified. Last December/this January a Su-57 was given the Izdeliye-30 engine as a test. Other prototypes seem to be using the AL-41F1.
  13. To my eyes, it's actually finished, 3d model speaking. It's the _data.ini that misses a lot of things, animations, proper TVC, etc. I'm not good at flight modeling, but it can be fixed and completed I think. As I said, I have found threads where someone fixed such things, but it was never released, it seems.

Unfortunately, it is no longer available at his "Owl workshop" site. All links to his stuff are down. And I don't think I can redistribute it, even in its incomplete state. I have found some very old threads where Berkut models were being developed, even threads where someone posted screenshots showing a fixed version of YEYEYE's Su-47 (with working TVC). Still, a lot of people show their work, but sometimes it never gets released.
  15. I am not very impressed. Looks like both sides have been using Syria as a playground for their new toys. Years ago the Yanks tested the F-22 for the first time in combat over Syria, obviously in bombing operations. We'll see. Rather advanced weapons over a land where nothing seems worth fighting for anymore, at least that's what I see. Mayhem, destruction and desolate landscapes which used to be cities.
  16. No, it isn't. Are you sure that one is by YEYEYE? The one by YEYEYE, which I have, has different mapping and it's way better despite it is a alpha version. I'll try to post a screenshot when possible.
  17. You're talking about YEYEYE's Su-47, which is no longer available at his "Owl workshop" site. The one posted by zachtan is a different model.
  18. It's a pity we do not have a decent Su-47 model for SF2. The one posted by zachtan is rather dated. There used to be a beta Su-47 model by YEYEYE, but it seems it is no longer available anywhere. I have seen various WIPs about a Berkut in a number of threads, but none came to fruition.
    Thanks for sharing! The stock F-15A was crying for custom skins.

  20. Well, I added them since the definitive version 1.0. Latest update simply fixed some minor things, and I added more border posts. The beta Iran-Iraq terrain missed lots of Blue Side SAMs, so this one is more complete.
  21. You can play with it already, feel free to create quick missions! As for an updated Desert Storm campaign, a team is being formed, and it will use this terrain. Just check the following thread: https://combatace.com/forums/topic/91614-upgrade-for-odscalling-modders-new-and-old/ You have no idea how wrong the original Desert Storm map was. This one is very accurate in terms of target locations. Also, it comes with most if not all Iraqi airbases, and there are Iranian bases as well, for the 1980-88 Iran/Iraq War.

  23. Hi, snapper21! That is interesting as well! I was not able to reproduce what you described, though, so if you can open a thread about it and explain further with pictures, I'd be glad. I have other painting software, so when I cut certain areas I see a transparent background.
