LOL.....I remember a few years back when I first started doing 2048's, some folks were calling me all the names under the sun for "killing" their systems, I even got some threating emails from some poor soul who blamed me for everything going wrong in his life.....ahhhh....those were the days.. now, who was it said that this flying lark would never catch on....... -

Not what a lot of people would expect at Duxford, but the museum houses an excellent collection of military vehicles and yesterday we were treated to some displays by some of the more modern stuff..............

Some damn good shots there matey, I espicially like the close up detail stuff, I see what you mean about folks under the wings & everywhere...........I used to moan about the barriers they put around the planes at our shows but atleast our way you do stand a fighting chance of getting a shot. I agree you need either a bigger lens or a 2x converter for the aerial shots......or go and stand nearer the end of the runway they take off & land from, some great great burner shots to be had from those types of locations.

Cracking shots Jim....sunshine too, my poor old bigma was at f5.6/6.3 nearly all day & that was at iso 400/800, I've got this damn twitch in me left arm which means I have to keep shutter speeds way up otherwise I'm screwed. Btw , Jeff do you mean here ; http://www.cotswoldairshow.com/display-aircraft.html not going meself, but if any body is going to Waddington in a couple of weeks give me a shout......be nice to meet up.
