This skin depicts the F-86E-10 51-2747 stud-HONEST JOHN of Col Walker Mahurin (4th FG Deputy CO),Kimpo AB,Korea,December 1951.By now I us the template that I have Thrown together to use for my Photoshop work,if any one else sees their work I thank you and hope they approve.I made this skin as shinny as I could so have a good pair sun glasses ready.
This is my first upload to the website, and my first try with modifying skins so it's very basic.
I took mppd's base worn F-4E skin, and added a decal file for an Israeli "Toad". The "Toads" were phantoms received from the united states during the 1973 war, and because the lack of time, were not painted in the usual Israeli camo. israeli markings were applied on the original camo, sometimes while the American markins were still on.
It's not a 100% accurate skin, because i don't have info about accurate squadrons and numbers, so just choose any squadron you want in WOI and it will work just fine with this skin.
i have tested this skin in WOI only. Just drop the skin folder in the stock WOI Kurnass and fly away.
Thanks to mppd for the permission to use the skin and to upload it on the website.
This skin depicts Harold Fischer's F86 'The Paper Tiger',one of the few Sabres to have a shark mouth applied to it. Capt Fischer was assigned to the 39 FIS out of Suwon.Korea and ended the war with 10 confirmed Mig kills.I used the basic Silver Saber skin from Scandy's Skins which I thank them for and hope they approve and also a lot of my own Photoshop work it seems like it took forever to paint that shark mouth it's not the best but it is the best I could do. A new skin for the MiG-27M made by lindr2,
an all grey one from the SLAF.
The Sri Lanka Air Force acquired about 10
of these mud movers. In their battle against Tamil Tigers
a couple were lost, and another 4 were bought from
the Ukraine. In service, all national insignia were
very small, and a serial was stencilled on the tail.
Go Fly!
Muesli
PS: thanks to lindr2 for the MiG-27M
