  11. This is a pack of 8 Hansa-PhonixKD1 skins.
All are from Flik 41J, 1917.
I believe they where mainly used at the Austro-Hungarian/ Italian front (Eastern Front).

Not sure of any pilots or serial #'s. But thanks to southside bucky for the info on the
red and white checkered Hansa. As it belonged to Oblt. Frank Linke-Crawford.
And the Ying-Yang was possibly flown by Feldwebel Karl Kaszala.

I would like to thank Laton for his incredible work on his Hansa-PhonixKD1 model and the
original skin. Very nice work .

    Enjoy, quack74

P.S. Anybody have any info on these planes please let me know or just post in the forums.

  12. This download will create the Hansa-PhonixKD1's Flik16.

The # decals are randomly selected.

The download includes a new "LOD" file which must be installed to get the decals to work correctly. Thanks to Laton (creator of the Hansa-Phonix model).

I recommend using the Vogesen terrain for the Austrian and Italian aircraft. Because of the mountainous terrain, it's the most accurate.

    Enjoy, quack74

  13. This is my first skin.
Its for the fantastic Halberstadt CL.IV which was made by Laton.

I hope you will like it!

I´ve got no information if this skin was used in the war. My inspiration was apicture of a plane in a museum, which I´ve found in the internet.

It uses the same decals as the stock-skin.

    Enjoy it!

  14. This is a complete set of letter decals for the Phönix D.II. You can assign them in the Loadout screen or the game will randomly assign a different one to each plane.

This completely replaces the "D" folder and uses a new Decals.ini and Numbers.lst for the skins.

I have also uploaded a new version of the Phönix which includes this decal set, so if you downloaded the Phönix D.II after September 20, 2011, you already have these decals.

    Installation Instructions
For FE1 - Unzip the file. In the FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft/PhoenixD2 folder, delete the folder named "D" and replace it with the new one. Next, open the folder named "Texture1". Delete the file named "Decals.ini" and move both the new Decals.ini and Numbers.lst into the folder. Do not delete any other files from the Texture1 folder.

For FE2 - Unzip the file. In the FirstEagles/Objects/Decals/PhoenixD2 folder, delete the "D" folder and replace it with the new one. Next, open the FirstEagles/Objects/Aircraft/PhoenixD2/Texture1 folder. Delete the file named "Decals.ini" and move the new Decals.ini and Numbers.lst into the folder. Do not delete any other files from the Texture1 folder.

  21. 4-Pack of Gotha G.IV of Kagohl 3

    They are flight leader aircraft.

Brandanburg's is the all red tail.

They are said to be possibly red in color as opposed to the popular green.

If you have already downloaded my "Green " versions, then just back them up and install the "Red" ones in their place.

The red one without lettering also has two extra skin templates in the skin folder for the Green version. Just rename the "Green" templates to the stock names.

  22. Hi folks,

this is a repaint of the Siemens Schuckert D.III in Jasta 12 colours. The fuselage shows the default personal insignias and the tail fin is numbered consecutively from 1 up to 32. I hope you will enjoy it, happy hunting.

    Cheers,

  23. Here is a small trick to have your personal plane (and your wingmen's too, if you wish) always display the same fuselage emblem(s) you have chosen from mission to mission during a campaign in First Eagles 1. It will require a little work in installation for every concerned skin, and a few manips before each mission.
  24. The game looks a bit dark at times. There is no way to change the gamma settings. So the planes look too dark. So I have lightened up the DFW.

Please back up the files in the following folders C:\Program Files\ThirdWire\WWI\Objects\Aircraft\DFWC5\GermanCamo1 & C:\Program Files\ThirdWire\WWI\Objects\Aircraft\DFWC5\GermanCamo2

Then extract the 2 zip files in “DFWC5.zip”. The extract the files GermanCamo1.zip & GermanCamo2.zip into C:\Program Files\ThirdWire\WWI\Objects\Aircraft\DFWC5
