  1. Supermarine Spitfire Mk.22 'NZ' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 
    This is a simple mod of the stock Third Wire Spitfire Mk.22 to create a fictional Spitfire Mk.22 in service with the Territorial Air Force of New Zealand in the 1948-1957 timeline. Markings for the following four TAF squadrons are included;
    No.1 (Auckland) Squadron
    No.2 (Wellington) Squadron
    No.3 (Canterbury) Squadron
    No.4 (Otago) Squadron (choice of markings - 'yellow diamond' or yellow & blue checkers).

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the Spitfire22nz folder into your Aircraft folder.
    2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the Spitfire22nz folder into your Decals folder.

  2. Dassault Mirage IIIVE 'Arab Nations' for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 
    This is a simple mod of Veltro2K's Mirage IIIV to create a fictional Mirage IIIVE in service with the following Arab Nations in the 1968-1982 timeline;
    Egypt (used as the default nation)
    Jordan
    Lebanon
    Syria
    For all four I've used the superb 'aluminio' skin by torno. 

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the MirageIIIVE folder into your Aircraft folder.
    2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the MirageIIIVE folder into your Decals folder.
    That's it! I was keen to make this readily accessible to everyone so everything is stock and the F-100D pit is used as it's in every version of Strike Fighters. This isn't accurate so if you've got any of the Third Wire Mirages then it's best to use those pits.

  4. Canadair CF-104S "Super Starfighter" (what If...) by Wrench    2/10/2023

    *** Please note: your game's mod folder/install =MUST= have access to the stock 3rd Wire CF-104_76 Starfighter to make use of the mod. You must ALSO have access to the A-7D_75 as this mod makes use of that cockpit. Hence, the "FUll 5 Merged requirement. ***
    This is a modification of the stock CF-104_76 into a "What If..." CF-104S Super Starfighter of the Canadian Forces, Royal Norwegian Air Force, and Royal Danish Air Force. The mod is supplied with 5 skins, 2 of which are "generic" for Any Other Users You Can Think Of (tm).
    CAFCamo - a 2-tone dark Euro style (no squadron affiliation)
    RDAF - Dark Green Overall (Esk 726)
    RNoAF - Light, "Air Superority Grey" Overall (Skv 331)
    For Other Users:
    Standard European 2-tone camo
    Standard "SEA" type 3-tone camo
    All markings are decals, and the serial numbers are based off the CAF style post 1980s. 24 serials are supplied for each skin, excepting the Euro & SEA which share the same pool of 24 serials (which just happens to be historically correct CF-104 serials). Decal Randomization is TRUE. With the use of 'all decals' for markings, the 2 generic skins are easily re-badged for any other Friendly Nation (tm) that might have recieved these Super Zippers (see notes for more backstory). All skins have individual Hangar Screens. All are in jpg format.
    This is a "full use" aircraft; it is speced for medium range missiles (Sparrow, Aspide, Skyflash), Sidewinders, and all manner of air-to-ground weapons. THis is a full strike fighter, minus the RCAF/CAF's nuclear mission for NATO. It's cleared for use with all NATO, UK and USAF weapons. Be advised, the DRAF/CF use the same anti-ship missile, while the RNoAF uses it's own Penguin.
    Most weapons used are stock in-game items, excepting the "F104S pylon set". This has been edited to not conflict with the AMI or Turkish F-104S series. Other weapons are included; of these, all have had the 'end of service/export years' extended to at least 2045. All items have been included for ease of installation. Excepting those items who's LODs we can't access (cockpit!). Ini's do the trick. The canopy is also activated via the Standard Animation Keystroke (tm), Shift/0 (zero).

  8. Lockheed F-104H Starfighter for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 
    This is a simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-104G to create a fictional F-104H in service with the Fuerza Aérea Argentina in the 1968-2006 timeline and with markings for;
    Grupo 8 (SEA Camo) 
    Grupo 6 (Lo-Viz Grey N.B. StartDefaultDate=1983)
    Grupo 4 (Green/Grey Camo)

    BACKSTORY
    During the Spring of 1965 the Fuerza Aérea Argentina formally issued an operational requirement for a supersonic fighter-bomber to supplement and eventually replace it's F-86 Sabre force and to operate alongside the Douglas Skyhawks that were just entering service. The BAC Lightning was quickly ruled out as being short on range and undeveloped in the air-to-ground role and by the end of 1965 Fuerza Aérea Argentina officials declared that the choice was between the Dassault Mirage III and the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter. Lockheed had proposed a new variant, the F-104H, a projected export version based on the F-104G but with an optical gunsight and simplified equipment. Following a visit by Lockheed representatives to the Casa Rosada in Buenos Aires in early July 1966 the newly inaugurated President Juan Carlos Onganía announced that 36 F-104H's would be procured for the Fuerza Aérea Argentina. Entering service in March 1968 with Grupo 8 de Caza at the Military Air Base Mariano Moreno the F-104H's served until 2006 when the last Starfighters operating anywhere in the world were finally retired.

    INSTRUCTIONS

    That's it! I've kept the loadouts to basic stock weapons but if you have Argentine weapons in your install then it's worth editing the F-104H_Loadout.ini to suit what you have.

  10. This aircraft mod represents a fictional evolution/upgrade of the Mikoyan-Gurevich's Ye-8 experimental fighter. There are several wing designs, systems and weapons that were under experiment during the 60-70-s though these are not actual replications of them  and the pits are pure fictional using equipment/instruments of that given time frame.
    This package comes with 1 or 2 skin set for each variant, with decals for Soviet aircraft.
    This model is meant for SF2 games only.
    Install is the regular dropping the contents in their respective places. In case you have the previous Ye-8/M pack the contents of the Effects, Decals, Guns and Pilot folders not need to be copied over.
    Please note: The model might gets heavy on FPS in large formations on weaker machines, so if required, either resize skin files or use lower lod "_nd" as lod1.
    New weapons are provided - some type specific - beside these the model uses the general Soviet weapons.
    Be aware - In the 1970's and later when AA-8 can be selected, manually double loadout of these can happen. 
    Make sure to read the manual included with the package.

  11. Nord Aviation HC-127B Noratlas for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 
    This is a simple mod of the Nord 2501 Noratlas transport aircraft (originally released by Coyote Aerospace in 2021) to create a fictional HC-127B in service with the US Coast Guard in the 1960-1990 timeline. I made this for my own use but a few people were interested in it so I'm releasing it 'as is' and with just a small serial number range.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the HC-127B folder into your AIRCRAFT folder.
    2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the HC-127B folder into your DECALS folder.
    3. From the SOUNDS folder drag and drop the 'Hercules' file into your SOUNDS folder.
    That's it! 
    Please note that the aircraft is listed as a HC-127B in 'Player Aircraft Type' and instead of creating the USCG as a new nation I have just allocated it to the USN.

  12. F-104JS "Super Starfighter" (what If...) by Wrench    1/10/2023

    This is a modification of the stock F-104G into a "What If..." F-104Js Super Starfighter of the Japan Air Self Defense Force. The mod is supplied with 2 skins:
    Blue Camoflague (1982 - 1990)
    Air Superiority Grey (1990 - 2004)
    These skins represent aircraft from the 207th Hikotai, and carry it's tail badge. The SF2 date switch is active, and will change accordingly.
    Skins remain in bmp format. All new "accurate" decals have been created for 24 aircraft (see Notes for more info on JASDF serial numbers). All markings are decals and decal randomization is TRUE. All weapons used are stock in-game items, excepting the "F104S pylon set". This has been edited to not conflict with the AMI or Turkish F-104S series. All items have been included (cockpit, avionics displays, etc) for ease of installation.

  15. North American F-100D Super Sabre (West Germany) for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 
    This is a simple mod of the stock F-100D to create a fictional F-100D in service with the German Air Force in the 1958-1967 timeline with colourful 'Black Tulip' markings for JG 71.
    I'm releasing this 'as is' as a request from a couple of my friends here at Combat Ace. Only 8 aircraft numbers are supplied and the complex nose marking is the best I can do with limited time.

    INSTRUCTIONS
    1. From the AIRCRAFT folder drag and drop the F-100Dwg folder into your Aircraft folder.
    2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-100Dwg folder into your Decals folder.
    That's it! In your aircraft selection drop down menu you will find this under F-100D Super Sabre (West Germany) this is just to separate it from the standard F-100D as I've removed the refuelling probe from this version.

  16. F-19 Stealth Fighter
    September 13th, 2022 (1st Release)

    >For Strike Fighters 2 games
    This is a rework of Julhelm's fantastic F-19 stealth fighter 3d model, now featuring a centre strut canopy structure (thanks to a cheap trick of repainting the bubble canopy glass) and a new cockpit, a purposely modified F-117A cockpit by Dels.
    Among the improvements, it now features proper hit boxes and collision points, proper location for position lights and landing gear lights, reworked skins, aircraft characteristics and loadouts meant to resemble the ones of Microprose's F-19 Stealth Fighter game.
    It still features two internal weapon bays (unlike Microprose's exaggerated four bays), but with properly reworked limits; you can have 4x Sidewinders or 3x AMRAAMs per bay, 2x bombs or AGMs depending on their overall weight and size. A 20mm cannon is on the nose with 680 rounds, and an extra 1,900 lbs fuel cell has been added for a total of 11,800 lbs of fuel; non-afterburning engines are used for stealth reasons. An (invisible) arrester hook has been added as well, since Microprose's version could also operate from aircraft carriers.
    Skins feature the 83-019 serial number and an F letter on the vertical tails; these two details come from a picture of a menu screen in one of the releases of Microprose's F-19 Stealth Fighter game, where you could choose between an F-19 or an F-117A. More serial numbers couldn't be featured as the 3d model of the aircraft does not support decals without decal bleeding issues. Just imagine piloting the only example of F-19 in very black operations!
    Three new skins were created: a Prototype Black skin created from the specular texture Julhelm had made, and Desert and Arctic camo skins made by modifying the USAF Euro camo skin created by kblomkvist.
    NOTE: Strike Fighters 2 has no proper IRST functionality, so for the purpose of launching AMRAAMs a very basic ACM radar mode has been added to the avionics file of the aircraft. Moreover, the default cockpit features an obtrusive front strut which makes the cannon difficult to use. You can activate an alternative cockpit LOD in the relative INI file.
    >What-if Backstory
    During the development of the Have Blue demonstrators, Lockheed's Skunk Works division also conceived a third experimental stealth aircraft featuring an entirely different shape, rounded fuselage and wings, and meant to have air combat capabilities. The CIA got wind of it, classifying it at the highest possible level and using it as a cover-up story for the stealth aircraft that came to be the F-117A Nighthawk. In 1986, the Testor Corporation released a plastic model aircraft kit, calling it the "F-19 Stealth Fighter". Jane's All the World's Aircraft 1987-88 book listed an RF-19 as a Lockheed development project. The conceptual drawings of it were generally similar to Testor's design. In 1988 a combat flight simulator game, F-19 Stealth Fighter by Microprose, was released just moments before the public unveiling of the F-117A Nighthawk attack aircraft, which is said to be what it sought to represent. The reality is that a single F-19 existed and, during secret flights over Groom Lake, this experimental aircraft showed unique strength and was deemed a super-aircraft. Due to its funding and maintenance costs, the project was officially abandoned in 1983. Unofficially, this single example of F-19 took part in black operations all over the world until 1997. It is named F-19A Nightowl, internally nicknamed "Flying Frisbee" for its rounded shape and also referred to as "Ghostrider" for allegedly being affiliated with the 416th TFS Ghost Riders flying the F-117A Nighthawk.

  17. Republic F-105D-5RE Thunderchief for STRIKE FIGHTERS 2 
    This is a simple mod of the stock Third Wire F-105D to create a fictional West German Thunderchief in the 1962-1967 timeline. A USAF skin is also included for joint operations!

    BACKSTORY
    When Kennedy and Khrushchev first met at the Vienna Summit in June 1961 there was hope of better relations between the USA and the Soviet Union but in the weeks that followed these hopes faded when the Soviet Union proposed a treaty between Moscow and East Berlin leading to Kennedy countering with a clear statement that any treaty interfering with U.S. access rights in West Berlin would be regarded as an act of war. Upon his return to the USA, Kennedy's advisors told him that Khrushchev was still planning to sign a treaty with East Berlin and advocated an immediate military build-up in Europe including the deployment of the new Republic F-105D's of the 36th Tactical Fighter Wing and the 49th Tactical Fighter Wing with both wings having a primary tactical nuclear strike role.
    The erection of the Berlin Wall in August 1961 caused Kennedy more anxiety and among a raft of actions he authorised the immediate transfer of 36 F-105D's to the German Air Force with most aircraft coming from the 335th Tactical Fighter Squadron based at Eglin Air Force Base. Entering service in October 1961 with Jagdbombergeschwader 31 at Nörvenich the F-105D's replaced the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak and were operated until late 1967 when the Wing began to receive the Lockheed F-104G Starfighter.

    2. From the DECALS folder drag and drop the F-105D-5RE folder into your Decals folder.
    That's it!
    The F-105D-5RE designation is used to prevent conflict with any other F-105D's you may have in your install.

    contains the plane with 6 skins, the pilot, weapons and some sounds
    I did not homologate the simulator's common weapons, only the specific weapons that I created for the model were tested
    we have the missiles:
    AMM-1-ARROW air air all aspect
    RMS-1 nuclear warhead air to destroy zentraedi cruisers
    RMS-2 ground air with nuclear warhead
    the GU-11-55 cannon has a caliber of 55mm (if you read correctly)
    It has a great range but it also has a great kick
    the plane is a plane, it is not a robot it cannot be transformed into a guardian

  21. CF-115 Northern Eagle:
    The CF-115 Northern Eagle is a special F-15E variant developed by Boeing to fill the requirements of the Royal Canadian Air Force and replace 3 CF-188 squadrons, the 409th, 410th and the 425th. The plane is very similar to the F-15EX, but it keeps in mind the air dominance role. It was introduced in 2018, and still flies today. 
    Big shoutouts to 1977Frenchie, who helped me a lot with this, guided me through all the process and tested the plane (this mod is 51% made by him, basically), and Viper63a, who created the SUPERB F-15E mod.

  22. Orion Multipurpose Crew Vehicle and variants:

    Hi there Combatace community!
    As you may already know, this Monday (with some luck) the mission ARTEMIS one is going to lift-off setting the path for future manned missions to the Moon, something that as engineer and space nerd I am very excited about. To celebrate this milestone and since I am finding myself without time to continue 3D modelling space gear for the Moon mods, I have decided to upload my UNFINISHED models so you can enjoy them! That includes:
    - Aircrafts (or should I say spacecrafts)
    Orion MPCV: Your normal Orion Multipurpose Crew Vehicle, with some "landing gear" I was trying to design because my experiments with vertical take-off were to this point very unsuccessful... but appart from that and two floating invisible pilons for IR missiles, it should look like the Orion that will take off in a few days! Orion MPCV-ICPS: That is a bigger Orion which includes a variation of the "Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage", which in reality is the upper stage of the SLS that will insert the spacecraft into a translunar orbit from Earth. I modelled it here as a longer range Orion since the ICPS module are substantially two giant propellant tanks (big one LH2 and smaller one LOX). Also I have equipped it with four rocket engines which will help compensating the much heavier fuel tanks (I tried to tweak the engines parameters to make it look a little bit more like a rocket engine instead of an airbreathing one, so fuel consumption has become super high hahaha) F-40A Apollo Starfighter: The beginning of the Spacefighters mod, a modified Orion MPCV-ICPS in which the main body of the ICPS module has been modified to carry weaponry becoming a propulsion and warmodule. It includes to arms with a pair of space adapted cannons and pylons for eight SIM-9A the first vacuum rated version of the AIM-9 with reactive thrust control for maneuvering. This is definetely not how I want it to look like but newer models are on the long To Do List. - AAA test beds: In order to become a full Space warfare mod, ground objects have to be implemented, unfortunately appart from static turrets and modified rovers sketches I have not been able to make 3D models, that is why I borrowed randomly GKABS M163 PIVADS models in order to have AAA with good targeting for the following systems:
    Laser AAA: In space, one of the biggest challenges is thermal control of the spacecraft, and since there is no atmosphere to dissipate beams, a laser could potentially become an enemy for sneaky spacecrafts that ventures into restricted territory. That is why a small low power version of Laser AAA is intended to be used in the early stages of the mods conflict. Railgun: An electromagnetically accelerated projectile, with low fire rate but high velocities. It would have sense in the moment in which bigger and armoured spacecrafts appears in later stages of the conflict. - Weapons:
    23mm MG-2040 Lunar Cannon 20mm M168 Lunar Vulcan 100KW XN1 Laser Weapon System (quick fact eventhough "small" 100kW is freaking difficult to generate on the Moon) 105mm Lunar Rail Gun SIM-9A Spacewinder - So what to expect from this release?
    As you will see, it lacks a lot of things we take for granted in this game: ground assets, targets to strike, actual Air-to-Ground and viceversa weaponry, spacecrafts from other nations. But as we all know, time is sometimes really hard to invest in these projects and real life easily takes over it. So at least you can have some dogfights between Orions and experiment this new environment. I personally enjoyed a lot the process of doing them and thinking how a Spacefighter mod would look like after seeing that a Moon map is actually possible (thank you Menrva!).
    So I hope you enjoy this despite of the clearly unfinished models and textures!

    2) Refer to the "Add F16 SoundList.txt" file on configuring the your "Flight\SoundList.ini" file to use the custom F-16 sounds included in this pack.
    3) Refer to the "Add F16 Squdraons.txt" file on configuring the your "PilotData\SQUADRONLIST.INI" file to use the Ukrainian Squadrons in a campaigne.

  25. This is a "What-if" Chinese stealth jet, based on some images found at internet. it was supposed to be extremely Agile, have super-cruise and be stealth enough to face the Raptor.
