  3. USAF ANG 148th FS Skin for the Viper Team Dutch F-16AM (2010+)

Assigned to the 162d Tactical Fighter Training Group at Tucson International Airport, Arizona. The 148th FS was tasked with pilot training for the foreign air forces as part of the Foreign Military Sales program, although the squadron has also been tasked with training F-16 crew for the USAF and the Air National Guard both advanced and beginner training. Through the years numerous countries have detached personnel to receive advanced training by the squadron.

The first to make use of these was the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF). Training used a mix of USAF F-16 as well as some Dutch F-16s. Eventually a total of eight RNlAF F-16s were on hand. These Dutch aircraft were hard to tell apart from the USAF as they had the same markings and where the same blocks. In 1991, the squadron was officially tasked a NATO F-16 training mission which was not much of a departure from the norm. Re-designated as the 148th Fighter Squadron on 15 March 1992 and the training role continued. By May 1995 all the RNlAF F-16s had departed Tucson for their native country.

In 2003 another contract was signed that included detaching foreign F-16s. These new F-16s would be the E/F models of the United Arab Emirates Air Force. The relationship ended on 20 October 2010 with over 100 UAE F-16 pilots trained. The last aircraft departed for UAE during December.

2010 saw a new contract with the RNLAF. The Dutch already had a detachment with the 162d Fighter Squadron of the Ohio Air National Guard. This unit was to lose its F-16 task and so the Dutch needed to search for another training site. The USAF then proposed the 148th FS. So an influx of Dutch F-16AM/BM airframes began December 2010. The first class of about ten pilots graduated in late April 2011.
This time the Dutch F-16s retained RNLAF Roundels and serial numbers but have had their Dutch squadron markings replaced with those of the 148th FS.

  5. PAF F-16A for SF2

This mod represents the F-16A Fighting Falcon in use with the Pakistan Airforce Since 1982.

    Overview:
Pakistan recieved her first F-16 in 1982.A letter of agreement for up to 28 F-16A's and 12 F-16B's was signed December 1981. The contracts, Peace Gate I and Peace Gate II, were for 6 and 34 Block 15 models respectively which would be powered by the F100-PW-200 engine. The fist Peace Gate I aircraft was accepted at Fort Worth in October 1982. Two F-16A and four F-16B were delivered to Pakistan in 1983, the first F-16 arriving at PAF Base Sargodha (now known as PAF Base Mushaf) on 15 January 1983 flown by Squadron Leader Shahid Javed. The 34 remaining Peace Gate II aircraft were delivered between 1983 and 1987.
Between May 1986 and November 1988,PAF F-16s have shot down at least eight intruders from Afghanistan. The first three of these (one Su-22, one probable Su-22, and one An-26) were shot down by two pilots from No. 9 Squadron. Pilots of No. 14 Squadron destroyed the remaining five intruders (two Su-22s, two MiG-23s, and one Su-25).[31] Most of these kills were by the AIM-9 Sidewinder, but at least one (a Su-22) was destroyed by cannon fire. Flight Lieutenant Khalid Mahmoud is credited with three of these kills.

    The Mod:
This mod represents Five Skins,Two for the Aircraft credited with the kills on Soviet/Afghan Planes intruding Pakistan's Airspace. All the base textures were made by the viper team and were modified by me using Gimp 2.6.The textures include skins for:

    No.14 Squadron
    No.9 Squadron 'GRIFFINS'
    No.38 Tactical Air Wing(Afghan Kill)
    N0.38 Tactical Air Unit Modern
    No.9 "GRIFFINS' (Soviet/Afghan kill)

  8. PAF F-16C Blk50/52 for SF2

This pack represents the F-16s of the PAF which are of the Blk50/52 standard. Some of these aircraft were new built airframes which were bought from the USA.The rest of the PAF's fleet of Vipers was upgraded and overhauled by the TAI(Turkish Air Industries).

This mod represents the following airframes:
    Ac no.10803
    Ac no.83703(Upgraded by TAI)
    Ac no.85722
    AC no.85728
    Ac no.10905(Newly bought)

These textures will work with all of The Viper Team's F-16 models. But,they are specifically meant to be used with their Blk50/52 package. The skin in the folder named 'No.5 Falcons CFT' is meant to be used with the Single seat CFT(Conformal fuel Tanks) model. These skins were newly built and have nothing to do with my old F-16A Skin pack.In other words,If you are using these skins,UNINSTALL MY PREVIOUS PACK!These skins represent the following improvements:

    -Corrected camo pattern

    -Panel lines now clearly visible

-Real Aircraft serial numbers and Squadron Tails

    Installation:
After unzipping, place the folders inside the 'skins' folder, into your desired F-16C aircraft folder(The folder present inside your Aircrafts folder). You must know at least know about the SF2 mods folder.
Note:If you do not know anything about the mod folder, the immediately stop the installation,go to the COmbatACE Forums,Go to the Strike Fighters 2 Knowledge Base and take a look at the thread explaining the Strike Fighters 2 mod folder mechanism.

    IMPORTANT:

If you like this file, then please rate it here at CombatAce.Constructive criticism welcome.
