So I guess most of the seasoned CA members here knew what the Dev A-Team site is (duh). Can someone that has a close relation with the Dev A-Team PLEASE persuade them to transfer their mods, if not just some of them here to CA. I'm craving for their Viggen BADLY.

I did all of their step-by-step registration process and sent C*pun an email to activate my account. But lo and behold my account activation was rejected because they got some "problems" with peoples from my country??? What did my lovely people did to their site 😭😭.

All I'm thinking after getting the rejection was "Why even bother to do such advertisement of their models and set up a long sign-up process just for some part of the world to be unable to access them?".

So pleaaaase, I'm begging, someone send me their JA37 Viggen mod to my email. I just can't stop thinking about it 💔.

Um you're on your own basically when it comes to dealing with Capun. I personally don't want to get involved with his (and I'm sure the rest of the Staff doesn't either) as we don't regulate A-Team policy or (at least I don't) don't involve ourselves with his decisions. While yes, we have our views and opinions (some earned), if Capun denies you access, then take it up with him, not us.

Welp, I guess I can only accept the bitter truth at this point

I already sent another email a week ago to C*pun asking if they would AT LEAST tell me the reason my country was banned for signing-up, and of course they did not respond

Don’t expect any reply from that fool as to why your country is banned. It would be great if that website was taken down. I don’t think anyone has been able to download one thing in decades lol.

so, do not bother with other site.. It is not worth it.

CA is not connected in any way to A-Team.

And CA is much better, despite dicking around sometimes, we are quite reasonable and a very understanding community...

Nope, column5's site was bricked. I tried accessing it some days ago

I mean you can try Google, but column5 himself hasn't been around for ages. Wrench might know of his whereabouts, but overall no joy I'm afraid.

Column5 for a brief time was on the CA servers, still is but when the domain registration was canceled it no longer resolved here. Since it was an old unsecure site build, I packaged it away. Before C5 was closed all the downloads were moved here. The same goes for the Mirage Factory and a couple other sites we combined with back when CA took root. We even worked with Capun, he moved all his content here, but something happened and he felt he wasn't in control of his content, freaked out, deleted it all (because he was in control of his content), and told us to go fornicate with ourselves. That was the last time we heard from Cesar. The A-team still visits and downloads content which always makes me laugh because their content is so tightly guarded. In all honesty you'd be time ahead building your own Viggen and probably will end up with a better product.

I'm just curious as to why this is in the SF1 Forums?

To the OP -- you'll find pretty much ALL the Mirage Factory and Column5 content here, and has been for a loooooooooooong. Just takes a little time and digging.

As to why Indonesia has been banned? Maybe one of Crapun's ancestors was killed in the Krakotoa eruption in 1883???

Random question, does The Mirage Factory have their own site by the way? I actually loved their work

much of their stuff has been released here as well, especially the things that were ported to SF2

at this point i would suggest transitioning to Gen2, most of the continuing work (yes i know not all, but most) is on that and it runs fairly well on Win11

I only had WoE in my laptop for now, and the fact their Viggens are originally for SF1 too.

Maybe I was expecting too much for my first gen TW game

Perhaps one of your talented modders will find the time to make a new Viggen.

I would like it.

Hmm, to be honest, I might be able. I just don't know if using Sketchup 2015 and Notepad is enough

SF2 costs like $40, so I'm better off waiting for my Rupiah to heal 😂

I'm also a braindead on how to do international transactions, especially out of Steam. That's why I ended up with WoE and still am in 2026
