Hi has anyone manage to load the drop tanks in WOE....I have added the entry and tried the weaponeditor (It seems to be looking for an INI ?) but still can't get it to show up ? Any ideas ?

You are so close.

Open the weapondata.ini, which is where you should have pasted the line from the readme.txt.

If you numbered it correctly, you last entry should be Typhoon tanks. Save the file, it will compile, and you'll then have tanks in WoE.

Following some questions to craig, this is my asnwer.

EDITED: IF YOU COPIED ENTRIES BELOW, COPY AGAIN THERE WERE SOME TYPOS

Two things and ini for the EF200

First.

strike Loadout. In Strike loadout you could have the LaserPod in the left-forward amraam bay.

This is how to do it

in [Fuselage] section of the data.ini, add..

..................

SystemName[020]=LPStation

then in the data add:

[DesStation]

SystemType=WEAPON_STATION

StationID=14

StationGroupID=7

StationType=SEMI_RECESSED

AttachmentPosition=0.88,1.3,-0.62

AttachmentAngles=0,0,0

EjectVelocity=0.0,0.0,-2.0

LoadLimit=500

AllowedWeaponClass=LP

AttachmentType=US,NATO,UK,USN,USAF,SWEDEN

Due to same game limitation in loadout screen you will still read 4 meteor. But in the game you should see the laser pod, provided that you have the LP pod in your weapondata, and that you it has the right attachemnts, and it has available dates

in the loadout I used the Litening III,

MAYBE SOMEONE WILL TELL ME A MORE SUITABLE LASER POD?

LIKEWISE, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW TO HAVE DUAL LGB RACKS LIKE IN THE FRENCH-EF2000 PICTURE POSTED ABOVE?(the above capitalized not to be rude and yelling , but because I can't find the answer on the net, and make the questions more visable in this confusing post) :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

loadout:

Loadout[01].WeaponType=Meteor

Loadout[01].Quantity=1

Loadout[03].WeaponType=Meteor

Loadout[03].Quantity=1

Loadout[04].WeaponType=Meteor

Loadout[04].Quantity=1

Loadout[05].WeaponType=ASRAAM

Loadout[05].Quantity=1

Loadout[06].WeaponType=ASRAAM

Loadout[06].Quantity=1

Loadout[07].WeaponType=GBU-27

Loadout[07].Quantity=1

Loadout[08].WeaponType=GBU-27

Loadout[08].Quantity=1

Loadout[09].WeaponType=Typhoon tank

Loadout[09].Quantity=1

Loadout[10].WeaponType=Typhoon tank

Loadout[10].Quantity=1

Loadout[11].WeaponType=GBU-27

Loadout[11].Quantity=1

Loadout[12].WeaponType=GBU-27

Loadout[12].Quantity=1

Loadout[13].WeaponType=Typhoon tank

Loadout[13].Quantity=1

Loadout[14].WeaponType=LiteningIII

Loadout[14].Quantity=1

Second: Quick Mercenary Skin.

As you know I can't resist mercenary, and Craig's EF2000 really needs some girls painted on its fuselage or fins.

I used hoarmurath's skin for the saab draken, a wonderful skin available on CA.

http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=3710

This a good occasion to download and install on a draken. then copy the baeevaluation skin in ef2000 folder and rename it merc. then copy numbers.ini from the draken's merc skin and drop in ef2000's merc folder.

Create dhe following decals.ini in EF2000's merc skin folder

PLEASE NOTE ; girls pictures are decals 5 and 6 (mercl and mercr); I ve been tweaking position and scaling of the decals and for some pictures there is some compromise, but the overall result is intersting. Please experiment.

It is a good way to appreciate craig's work if you haven't yet, and hoarrmurath's skin that went perhaps a little unnoticed.

This is a picture of the loadout. The girl on the tail is a trial and was out of position; with the entries included they should be better positioned.

I think the litening III is actually the pod used, I havent heard of any other pod used on the Typhoon, well done on the mixed loadout on the amraam bays, I tried to get it but it really didn't work for me.

I would say that the pod is on the wrong side though, go to the eurofighter website (I forget the link) but it shows the loadouts.

Snakeman, which version of the weaponeditor did you use, it is important not to use the new WOI version, thats gonna ruin things for you big time

Thanks for the well done, it is a compliment from you! :clapping:

You think is the other side? I will check, anyway it is a simple edit, I made the entry for the laserpod station from the amraam 2 station , it is only to replace it with amraam 1 station, while keeping it station 14.

Try the merc skin! it is fun ! and make sure you get the latest entries, I made a typo in previous post

Hi Craig (and everybody who manages to keep Snakeman flying !!) I had the weaponseditor from 2/08 copied old version across and removed those lines you said and hey presto....drop tanks everywhere. I can now go fly some combat in your great Typhoon ! Superb many thanks again ! :clapping::clapping:

ps. I usually only fly the Phantom in combat so for me to go flying in something else make the Typhoon a bit special ! :good: Cheers

strike Loadout. In Strike loadout you could have the LaserPod in the left-forward amraam bay.

This is how to do it

(......)

the RAF typhoons will carry the litening3 at the centerline pylon...

---

2

Question:

Why doesnt my typhoon want to have meteor missiles? (year=2010)

I checked the ini files (compared with gripen) and coulnt find something wrong...

(WOE)

example

[station2]

SystemType=WEAPON_STATION

StationID=7

StationGroupID=3

StationType=EXTERNAL

AttachmentPosition=-3.557,-1.35,-0.58

AttachmentAngles=0.0,0.0,0.0

LoadLimit=2000

AllowedWeaponClass=IRM,EOGR,SAHM.AHM,LGB,BOMB,ASM,ARM,TLR,2BR,2IR,TER

AttachmentType=SWEDEN,US,NATO,UK,USN,USAF

ModelNodeName=pylon2

PylonMass=26.15

PylonDragArea=0.02

LaunchRailNodeName=

---

3

and the pylons between the wingtank and thou outer sidewinder pylons (i guess its station 7 and 2) only want 1 amraam instead of 2 (one each pylon) in WOE

why?

---

4

last EF typhoon hotline question:

what are the differences between the 01:24 AM release and the 09:28 PM relaese of the typhoon?

---

5

my little decal problem is fixed, thanks for the little advice about the foldername

---

6

I think (not 100% sure) chaff should come from the intergrated chaff dispensers in the outer sidewinder rails instead of the flare dispenseres

--

my english is poor, i know...

--

thanks again craig

IRM,EOGR,SAHM.AHM,LGB,BOMB,ASM,ARM,TLR,2BR,2IR,TER

Because right after SAHM, you have a period instead of a comma.

noticed your entry here, look at the SAHM.AHM, there is a decimal between them, so it should be SAHM,AHM, this is not how I released the file, could be from your own experimentation.

why?

This one is a little difficult for me to follow, are you saying you are getting 2 amraam on each pylon and only want 1 on each, or are you only getting 1 and want 2, I don't believe anyone has reported strange loadouts yet.

I think (not 100% sure) chaff should come from the intergrated chaff dispensers in the outer sidewinder rails instead of the flare dispenseres

I have been put correct on this one, I don't claim to know the Typhoon intimately and I believe you are 100% correct on the chaff dispensers.

my little decal problem is fixed, thanks for the little advice about the foldername

Good to hear

my english is poor, i know...

Better than my flemish/dutch or any other language other than english so do not appologise please

last EF typhoon hotline question:

what are the differences between the 01:24 AM release and the 09:28 PM relaese of the typhoon?

Mystery, I only released 1, but I must have made 20-30 attempts to upload that day, perhaps they are ghosts in the machine WOOOOOO! MWAH! AH! AH!

My bad, I did release the file like this, I do appologize to everyone, 2 weapon stations seem to have the incorrect entry, stations 2 and 3 I think. :sorry: sorry

Nobody is perfect, this is why I like this community... we try to work together so don`t worry about misstakes! Your work is a damn good piece of virtual aviation art.

Only the windows are to blue for me :idhitit:

Just an idea couldn`t we improve the canards on the Gripen with craigs ini editning?! Cause they are moving only up and down. Hope this is not to OT

Don`t wan to hijack this thread.

Peter: the problem with the Meteor's is the EXPORTED box needs to be checked in the weapons editor. Right now, they're set for SWEDEN only, and not exported (even though UK is listed)

Do that and they'll work fine. I don't know if the Tiffy is going to get the IRIS-T, but it might be a good idea to add EXPORTED to that too.

I don't know why my AI guys are making smoking holes around the air field like the guys in the Raptors... :blink:

How can I make my AI planes land on a runaway safely?

(I know someone tweaked the [Flight]_data.ini from F-22 so that it makes the Raptors controlled by AIs not crash on the ground.)

Any idea about this one? It happens with Gripen, F-22 and EF-2000

"Cure" for F-22 is simple one, I think. You will lost one of the AI benefits called "supercruise" but AI planes will land more safely>

try this:

CruiseSpeed=233.05

In beta stage I used this value and I'm still using it. It will not affect your supercruise ability, only when auto pilot is engaged,

Sorry for "slow answering" but I'm not on forums much these days, health problems. I guess that will help with EF-2000 too.

Cheers

USAFMTL, thanks for the period, idn't see it. chanhing the period alone didnt help, so i will check the export of the meteor.

the period caused the loudout problem.

( I didn't write that period there, its in the original zipfile, station 2&3, so its a little bug, maybe craig can fix it)

Wrench, thanks, I will try it

IRIS-T already worked on my german typhoon

canadair: one of the sourches: http://eurofighter.com/news/20071112_lgb.asp

( I check http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/ and eurofighter.com at least 2 times per week, and i read http://www.airforcesmonthly.com/ ervey month )

thanks again folks...

Many thanks starfighter; when you are feeling better, (best wishes fot your health) could you elaborate more on the subject?

I dlike to understand better, how the various figures in flightcontrol entries relate to eachother

Thanks for your perfect model Mr.Builder.

But i have some problems with your aircraft:

1-In read me you say that you have place an AVIONICS ini file for WOE in a folder that folder is existed but there is nothing inside it! so i delete orginal ini file and my EF-2000 hasn't got a gun sight! :dntknw:

2-Aircraft 's control is is very difficult and if you don't attention to it it will crash into ground or go to moon!

But at all it is good progress.good luck!

ImageSize=0.055

//[HUD_Steerpoint]
