Formosa Strait Terrain

My work on Vogesen terrain comes to an end. Thatswhy i'm playing with the though to make a terrain in 1:1 scale covering Taiwan, the Formosa Street and a little bit of China.

Is there an interesst in the community for such a terrain or would it be wasted time?

Firsty Thanks for your Work and the Excellent Terrain work you have provided all in the Community with Already..i like your idea regrading the Formosa Straits Terrain but have to admit what I feel is most Needed in the Strike Fighter Series is more Terrains for First Eagles, Perhaps, if you have the time mate, you may consider some development of some further Terains for F.E.? I know many of us would like to see a Austro-Italian front terrain (epecially with work completed on the Excellent Hanriot) Id also love to see a Somme Terrain (as we have a Flanders and Verdun) perhaps a modified Desert Terrain could be created to build a Western Desert Terrain or Palestine terrain? That would be amazing, another idea may be a Gallipoli Terrain and Campaign? These are of course only suggestions but I hope you dont mind me posting them...

IMHO such a terrain would be great and a 'must have' addon for the SFP1/WOV/WOE series. :yes:

 

And it should have plenty of carrier stations...

There is ahuge interest, you read my mind, I was going to start modernize the taiwan1958 we already have for a campaign Chinese flankers, VS Russian navy mercs, VS Taiwan Ching kuo

although any new terrains are welcoem I wouls be most interested in the Formosa Straights terrian.anything in asia or the indian sub-continent would be great.Thanks

I agree. Good area for another updated scenario with both sides in campaigns.

 

lots of carrier stations and anti-warship ops, opposed amphib landings, lots of mission possibilities.

Hey Gepard, a Formosa Straits terrain would be terrific! I'm sure lots of people would really enjoy flying over it, particularily since your terrains are all first cabin.

There are quite a few planes now to do some good "What if" scenarios covering from 1950 on.

Some minutes ago i uploaded the first Beta of Formosa Street (Taiwanhixai) terrain.

I think in some hours it will be available for download.
