Spectre_USA Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 (edited) I don't think another aircraft has been as tossed about in these fine forums than the ol' Voodoo that you do. I hope it finally sees the light of day! Edited July 10, 2008 by Spectre_USA Quote
Soulfreak Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 (edited) I can´t wait for this great bird! this skin would be nice... BTW, what is the difference between The RF-101C & the RF-101H? found this nice paintsheme... Edited July 14, 2008 by Soulfreak Quote
Gocad Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 (edited) The RF-101H had a shorter camera nose than the C-model. It's barely visible in the pics you've posted. Btw, that low-viz scheme sure looks interesting. Edited July 14, 2008 by Gocad Quote

Dave Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 By the way Erikgen did this special for me. Still have work to do on it. Like decals, skin etc. I want to give you an example of his attention to detail. After SAC dumped the F-101C's to TAC, TAC didn't want them. Well TAC dumped them on USAFE where they fit in quiet well. Flying in Europe required a special transponder to be installed. The only way to do that was to remove one of the 20mm cannons. Well if you look at the top cannon in that pic, you can see which cannon it was. Excellent, excellent, attention to detail. Thank you Erikgen. Quote
76.IAP-Blackbird Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Mh are there any pit pics allowed?! This baby looks damn hot thank your very much! Quote
Dave Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 Here is the RF-101C pit. I am going to use the same pit for the F-101C. After talking to Erikgen, making a pit totally blows. (Which I already knew) So part of the deal to to get the F-101C is that he wouldn't have to do a pit for it since its been a pain in the ass for the RF-101C. So I got some ideas to adapt the recce pit for our use. Quote
ErikGen Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Thanks Dave, it's a pleasure to do things for peoples that appreciates details ... and ... before you start some heavy modding on the recce pit (and blame me for that ) ... i've found good images of the F-101C pit. The differences are not so heavy and i thought that is possible that i make one with minimal pain for my ass . Here an update of the RF-101C pit Quote
Julhelm Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Do you want to use my legs I'm using in the Skyray pit? Quote
Stratos Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Voodo was always a recce plane or have also a armed variant? Quote
Dave Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 http://home.att.net/~jbaugher1/f101.html Tons of Voodoo goodness. An excellent read. Quote
