Mannie Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 (edited) Well...We have chosen the favorite band and favorite guitar player. Isn't it time for our favorite lead singer? My choices are: Steve Perry of "Journey". one of my all time favorites . he can range his voice from silky soft to a thousand thunders. Robert Plant of "Led Zeppelin". The man with an electric guitar in his throat!!! David Coverdale of "White Snake". The roaring man! Ronnie James Dio of "Rainbow". I don't know where to put my finger. I just love him. Ian Gillan of "Deep Purple". in his good days there was no second to him. Last but not least: Freddie Mercury of "Queen". do I need to say why? Cheers. Edited July 13, 2008 by Mannie
+JediMaster Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Paul McCartney and John Lennon...ok, neither was actually the "lead" because they switched off, but that was part of the brilliance!
+whiteknight06604 Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Freddy Mercury or Geoff Tate(Queensryche)
+Julhelm Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian Daniel Gildenlöw of Pain of Salvation Tom Englund of Evergrey Arthur Brown Zack De La Rocha
Viper6 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 It would depend on the catagory of the music because I listen to a huge variety of tunes.

+column5 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I think Sting is among the best male vocalists. Also Peter Gabriel.
WarlordATF Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Ozzy-He still sounds as good live as he does in the studio.
+whiteknight06604 Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 (edited) jimmy pop- bloodhound gang while I don't think he's a great vocalist BHG rules. Khan from Kamelot rules too Edited July 17, 2008 by whiteknight06604
+Syrinx Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Personal favourites... Thom York of Radiohead. The one and only Morrissey. I like David Bowie's voice too. None of these are "the best" but they do it for me.
Guest 531_Ghost Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 In no particular order: Glenn Fry Jim Croce Sir Elton John (Yeah, I know, but the man can sing.) Harry Connick Jr.
