If he is flying that tomcat he isnt, cause Iraqis never flew Tomcats, Iran and the US are the only ones to ever have em. If u mean the Mirage 5DE, well, Iraq didnt have them either, Iraq had F-1 EQ 500s and were working with France to get Mirage 2000s and working with Russia to get SU-27 Flankers.

 

Actually, I meant that some iraqi is going to have a good breakfast in the fact he is going to have a Hawk (missile) 'on his plate.' I know that the Iraqi's never had F-14's. They could barely fly their own MiG-25's as it is.

Sorry guys. I was shooting at an Egyptian Mirage. Wow...I'm dumb. I was refering to the fact that Iran wired that missile in the 1980's to be employed against the Iraqi AF.

 

Anyway, this is the effect that missile procured about 30 seconds later.

I hate to keep bringing it up, but wasn't it an Iraqi MiG-25 that scored the only ATA kill in Iraqi Freedom against a Navy bug...................................

According to unconfirmed Russian sources... yes. But so far I have not been able to find any serious bibliography to back up that claim.

 

PS: it wasn't (allegedly) in OIF but in 1991 Desert Storm.

I'm Sorry but Tom Cooper isn't anybody.... he is a Very Serious Source and he got sources both sides.

 

btw, there was no AAA/SAM where Lt Speicher where shooted down and Lt Zuhair Daweood did a very intresting report of that day.

From what I have read Jug, it was a Foxbat that scored the kill, and also a MiG-25 killed a Predator drone as well. The Foxbat was the elite of the elite in the Iraqi AF, since the MiG-29s were so scarce, and mainly the MiG-29s were to protect Baghdad.
