+Veltro2k Posted March 21, 2009 Author Posted March 21, 2009 It’s now 100 % complete all that’s left is a few tweaks for flight FM, and mapping and skinning.....Help would be appreciated. Quote
Spinners Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Looking good! BTW the evolution of the real Mirage IVA is a fascinating story. Allez le bleu! Quote
Gunrunner Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 (edited) Not too appear too greedy, but is the model easy to convert to Mirage IVP (flat underside with centerline pylon for an ASMP missile) or Mirage IVR (with a recess in the underside for a CT-52 reconnaissance gondola) standards ? You really are the most prolific strategic bomber man around. :) Edited March 21, 2009 by Gunrunner Quote
Atreides Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Hotel Sierra Veltro. One of the most graceful looking deltas ever. Quote

Rambler 1-1 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 looking good! One of the many planes that I have always wanted to fly. Quote
fougamagister Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 My favourite ! Having seen them fly over my head during 10 years, to my opinion the middle section looks a bit "fat" to me, and maybe the front fuselage would ahve needed to be thiner. But your work is still appreciated. Not too appear too greedy, but is the model easy to convert to Mirage IVP (flat underside with centerline pylon for an ASMP missile) or Mirage IVR (with a recess in the underside for a CT-52 reconnaissance gondola) standards ? Actually those both versions were called Mirage IVP ( for "Penetration" - in enemy territory- and "Photo"). The designation Mirage IVR has never been used. Quote
+Veltro2k Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 to my opinion the middle section looks a bit "fat" to me, and maybe the front fuselage would ahve needed to be thiner. That’s your opinion. Don’t mean to sound rough, but was made exactly as blue print and 3-view. In fact if I made front end thinner, pilot’s shoulders would go through canopy glass. Thus.... Quote
fougamagister Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) I really don't want to sound pissy I just try to help you to complete this great aircraft, btw I think I've found what looks wrong: there is a kind of edge line under the canopies which separates them from the front fuselage and this line doesn't seem to be enough accentuated on your mod. (sorry it's pretty hard to explain it in english). Keep up the good work Edited March 22, 2009 by fougamagister Quote
Spinners Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 BTW following the cancellation of the TSR.2 in 1964 Dassault and BAC teamed up to offer the Spey-Mirage IV to the RAF. I'm not sure who was lukewarm to the idea the RAF or the UK Government but it would have been a useful strike/recce aircraft or did things turn out for the best (Buccaneer and Tornado)? Anti-flash white anyone? Or a Falklands 'Black Buck'? Quote
+SayethWhaaaa Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Ooh... Mirage IVA - YES PLEASE!! Mirage IVA with Black Buck camo - YES PLEASE!! Quote
jeanba Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Veltro, You model one of my favorite aircraft once again !!! Quote
