Unfortunately I cannot join you brethren in the mighty tomcat because I always get an error where I can't move the mouse out of the top left corner and I get no loading screens.

What patch level are you at?

That is due to the Hangar and Loading screens being jpeg format, and your install not being patched up to the latest patch. Screens have to be bmp's with the older patches. I had the same problem.

Do one of the following (not both):

- Patch to the latest patch

- go into F-14A.ini and comment out the lines for the hangar and loading screens

I did the latter since I added the F-14's to my NF4+ install and I don't want to patch until the update's out.

@ STORM...

I downloaded the BIRD from CAPUN'S website. It is pleasing to fly, needs a few flight edits, but pretty much I get a thrill out of taking it for a spin.

@ USAFMTL

The patch i currently have running is the MAY 2009b update. My comp crashed recently and I'm starting all over and being very cautious (CPU died)

@ Malibu43

Thank you for the suggestion, I will try editing the INIs when I get home!

That's one sexy sky!!! What mod is that?

Hey Nightshift - Horizon clouds are Pasko's. It's an old mod but still terrific. 3D-Clouds are mine. Still in development.

BTW, well done to the MF team for the new F-14 add-on. A nice surprise to come home to after a relaxing holiday :ok:

Fiddling around with Broken clouds and Overcast clouds (they're related in the settings). Going with the dark skies look. I like the contrast.

No edits or post-processing made to the images.

Yeah, that's a Mig-15 I downed while I still had rockets attached. Yikes! I thought I had pickled them all off. I wouldn't have tangled with him if I had known.
