ya know  GearyMcS..... there are possibilities with a smaller Sea Control Carrier, the Hawk in its T-45 Goshawk configuration and modded along the lines of the Hawk T1A used for secondary air defence duties.   also always been curious: how come your skins don't match FS colors closer?

DA,

  I'll take a look at the T-45, good idea, but I chose these Hawks because of great-looking, existing skins I could re-decal.

  The reason the colors don't match is because I run them through Auto Tone and Auto Contrast in CS4.  Gives them deeper, darker colors.

ok on the colors. do you have a template for FS in PS?

as for the "AT-45" I was gonna use the T-45 (which has hard points) and tweek the Hawk T1A skin to be lighter.  got busy on other projects tho.  again, definitely works for a what if flying off of upgraded Midways or Essex.  lemme do a little research on the ships involved. getting an idea for convoy carriers 80's style.

DA,

  I don't have a template for FS.  I run the photos I upload here through PS Auto Tone and Contrast not all my SF graphics files.  But you give me an idea; problem is if it works,  there are thousands of graphic files in all my SF installs.

oh i'm thinking total package here.  in the 70's studies were done on sea control ships. basically escort carrier for modern times. the real studies used harriers and the USS  Wasp.  but i'm thinking what if Carter decided to go for it?   refurb the last Essex carriers still going with SCB125...... need a fighter (A-4M in the 70's T-45 in the 80's)  light attack/ ASW ordinance delivery (poss OV-10) and AEW (S2 in 70s, Sea King AEW's in the 80's). brought in courtesy of Carter, retired in 90-92 as part of the peace dividend. in war time as said would have escorted convoys freeing up the CVA's to go after red fleet.   gonna open a new thread to fleash out some opinions on this.  also i'll shoot you a set of FS colors. I use it in PS6 but methinks it will work in PS4 too.

Used TMF's F-1 for this "temporary" plane. I think that, as soon as the new one is ready, I'll be able to create a better one. This plane was requested by Stratos. Somehow, he always has some great ideas for what-ifs! :smile:

Nice one Mario. One of your best.

Your Roo's do need sorting though, so use this as a guide;

[Left Wing Top]
Reverse=TRUE
Rotation=-90

[Right Wing Top]
Reverse=FALSE
Rotation=-90

[Left Wing Bottom]
Reverse=FALSE
Rotation=-90

[Right Wing Bottom]
Reverse=TRUE
Rotation=-90

And finally use Reverse=TRUE for the Fuselage Right.

In 1979, and at Dhimar's request, Dassault decided to get one over on IAI by beating them at their own game when they introduced the Mirage S50. In place of the J79 was the Rolls Royce Spey......

In the mid 80s they went one step further by installing canards, an in-flight refuelling probe and a laser rangefinder.
